Helping Hands provides us with much needed reassurance that my mother is safe and well, given that I and my brother are located hours from her house, a house which she loves.

This is of course in addition to the friendship and assistance around the house that helping hands provide. I can only praise them.

I can't thank everyone enough for all their support and care looking after both my grandparents and allowing them that little bit longer at home together. Dene and the team were exceptional and caring and I can't fault them. Marie was my grans favourite carer and her attention to detail was amazing.

Thank you again, would highly recommend!

Helping Hands provided in-home care for my mom while she was suffering from terminal cancer and declining health, and they were absolutely brilliant throughout.

Paula and the rest of the carers were amazing - compassionate, professional, and genuinely caring. My mom absolutely loved having the carers come to visit, and it gave her such a huge lift during an incredibly difficult time.

As a family, we appreciated their support more than we can say. Knowing Mom was being cared for with such kindness and dignity was a huge relief to us all.

I honestly can't recommend Helping Hands highly enough. They made a very hard period much more manageable for both Mom and our family.

We have been using the services of Helping Hands for a combination of tasks required to ensure my father can happily remain in his family home.

There have been unexpected issues with his needs over the last couple of years, and Helping Hands have been there to help provide support and assistance whenever required.

His carers are friendly, caring and diligent professionals, who always put my father's needs first.

Also not forgetting a complete supportive network for his family too.

Without them dad may not have been able to maintain his preferred lifestyle and independence.

Helping Hands have provided care for my husband for the last three and a half years. The carers have been outstanding- professional, compassionate and dedicated to their job. They have felt like members of our family.

My Mom didn't really want carers initially, despite really needing them. She only wanted family, until she met the carers at Helping Hands. She loves them all & sees them more as friends. She can't now do without them, as she loves them going. They play snakes & ladders with her & take her in the wheelchair to the local park for fresh air, make her a sandwich & most importantly treat her with kindness and respect.

Thanks to all the carers & staff with special thanks to Dene who has dealt with queries and requests quickly & efficiently.

Since April 2024 (following my husband's fall and subsequent spinal problems ) we have had carers from Helping Hands three times per week. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support we receive.

The carers are a pleasure to have in our home. They are skilled, kind and caring and we appreciate having the consistency of having the same ones so we have got to know each other. This is really important. My husband is much more mobile now and needs less help but still appreciates the support they give him with personal care and help doing his morning exercises. He also enjoys the company of these pleasant and intelligent young women. I get time to get on with jobs around the house and sometimes go out for the day knowing that he is in safe hands. Any problems have always been dealt with in a practical and sensible manner. I should also mention Dene and the Harborne office staff who are always helpful and supportive. Thank you!

I receive domestic care for my Mom 4 days week. This is a great service the carers are very considerate, friendly & take time to communicate with Mom. They get her washed & dressed each day & help me when showering her. This service had lightened my load enabling me to continue to work from home.
I also have recently started using waking overnight care. This gives me a night off occasionally & I feel confident in the carer ensuring help is provided for getting in & out of bed & onto commode safely.

All the care provided has been invaluable to me & makes a positive impact to my Mom's life.

I am very pleased with the service I get from the carers even if they are new to me and never been before, and all carers are nice and helpful, and do all my requirements I need. Usually arrive in the slotted time. But don't always get a phone call to advise me they will be late, so end up phoning the office. But does not happen very often.

Absolutely amazing care. I 100% would recommend this agency to look after your loved ones . We have been using helping hands for nearly two years now. I can truly say they have not only shown exceptional care they have took the time to reassure myself when I've had any concerns with my loved one. The manager Dene has made several visits to the house to check we have everything in place to make things better for my loved one. They offer not only care for patient they can offer cleaning/ household service , shopping and days out. This helps me so much as I'm a full time worker and can't always be there. Whilst my loved one has been in hospital they have still kept intouch for updates. They arrive on time and spend the time they are booked for, which is great and this hasn't always been the case with other service providers!

Very grateful for them

The family want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Helping Hands for the care and support each of you have given to Mom.

Without this support Mom could not have continued to live independently in her beloved home up until her 105th impending birthday.

The companionship and care your team have shown to mom has been second to none. The small kind acts, going the extra mile and treating mom with such respect has been amazing. She has gained such friendship from her carers and will indeed miss them.

I have appreciated all the back up support too which has enabled such a smooth operation.

We will continue (and have already done so) to recommend Helping Hands as a first class company who put the customer first each and every time.

When one of the supervisors left and the manager retired around this time, everything went south. The office was being run by Solihull due to staff shortage and the newly appointed manager being on secondment to a branch in the SW. Nobody knew what was going on. Rotas changed with no notice. Very rude Admin Staff.

Invoices were not being sent to my accountants. Phones not being answered.

Staff late and not correctly dressed and one arrived on two days very hung over and constantly yawning. When told of her deportment had the utter cheek to report me

The new manager has no managerial experience and has lost 7 staff and numerous customers.

I would never recommend this company.
