Very happy with the care provided for my mother and would certainly recommend Freedom Care to anyone who is looking to have a loved one looked after with no worries. Thoroughly deserved my 5-star rating.
Thank you for your lovely feedback and rating. I hope Mum is still well and going from strength to strength.
Totally pleased with the care that my mother received. It was more than care, it was companionship. I would not hesitate to engage Freedom Care Services should an opportunity arise in the future. The companionship to a weekend of family celebrations meant my mother could fully engage, leaving myself to meet and greet guests and mingle at my daughter's wedding. This was a huge relief knowing she was well looked after. Both the carer and mom had a fantastic time, which ultimately meant the family did too. Appreciated immensely.
Thank you for using Freedom Care Herts. I am so happy that everything went so smoothly and you was able to enjoy your daughters special day, knowing mum was in safe hands, and was also able to attend. Thank you for the lovely feedback.
I would like to thank the managers and all the team at Freedom Care for all the care and attention that they gave to my dear departed mum over the past few years, it has been very much appreciated.
Thank you. Your mum was a wonderful lady and was highly thought of. We will all miss her dearly.
The team at Freedom Care are amazing. Twice we have requested short-term care for dad and given them little notice. On both occasions they found lovely carers who really looked after him and went the extra mile. Dad's latest carer was just amazing and took so much time with him. Can't recommend this company highly enough.
Thank you, your feedback is highly appreciated. Your father is a lovely gentleman.
Mum has completely felt at ease since we started the care support. She was not in favour but we have seen a dramatic improvement in her since we started the care. She has built up a great rapport with one but gets on with all of them. It has greatly helped me and my sister feel more at ease.
Thank you for your feedback, which we greatly appreciate. It's lovely to hear that our care has such a good impact on everyone.
From my first contact with the manager from Freedom Care, I knew they were the right care provider for us to choose. My father has early-onset Alzheimer’s and this was my first time engaging in help for him. The manager was responsive to my initial request and able to come to meet my father and me at his home, immediately putting us both at ease. She gave me the confidence that Dad would be treated with kindness and that an effort would be made to get to know him and give him the support needed in a way that he would be comfortable with. The team keep me updated regularly with any issues and I can check their app daily to see who has been to visit and how Dad is - this gives me enormous peace of mind when I am too far away to be able to pop in regularly to visit myself. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for care in the area.
Thank you for your very kind feedback. It is lovely to hear the use of the new software is being such a help and giving peace of mind. Your father is a lovely man.
Very helpful, flexible and responsive. All staff communicate and are very friendly and professional. My mother has not had to return to the hospital due to the input of their care and she is much more settled at home with their scheduled visits.
Thank you for your kind review. We are glad we are able to have a positive impact on Mum's health.
Very happy with the service provided for my elderly father. Very flexible with all his needs and when he wanted times of visits changed.
The carers who came in were all lovely with him.
He had a night-time carer that slept over and he was very happy with the situation and felt very comfortable with them.
Thank you for your feedback. I am happy that we were able to help when you needed it. Your father was a true gentleman and a pleasure to assist.
Freedom Care have done a lovely job of looking after my mother during a challenging period for her health. Sensitive to her needs, caring and helpfully flexible the service has been personal and supportive of maintaining my mother’s independence as much as possible.
Thank you for your feedback. We will all miss you mother she has won all our hearts. She is an absolute delight to assist.
Words cannot express gratitude for the care that was provided to my father at the time of his greatest need. All the carers that assisted my father were highly responsive to his needs and that of the family. The professionalism, kindness, and compassion were of the highest level. I highly recommend anyone needing care to contact Freedom Care.
Thank you for your very kind words. I am glad we were able to help you all through your time of need. Your father was a true gentleman.
Lovely, kind and professional carers, feel reassured that they give the best care possible. My mum loves having weekly visits and allows me to leave her in a safe environment. They go the extra mile and leave the kitchen and bathroom clean and tidy.
Thank you for your feedback. Mum is a pleasure to visit, she has a wonderful supportive family.
Staff were friendly, punctual, caring and personal.
Every visit I was informed via the app how Mum was feeling, looking, what she had eaten and her mood. This provided us with assurance and comfort of the care provided.
Freedom Care were flexible to the changing needs of Mum.
Mum was always treated with respect, care and dignity.
Thank you Freedom Care - a great team of carers.
Thank you for your feedback, it has been a pleasure meeting mum and you all. Wishing you all the very best and hope Mum settles quickly.
We chose Freedom Care to provide carers twice a week for mum after she had a stroke. We intended for them to help around the house as well as provide some company as she has been very lonely and we live a long way away. They also drove her up to a local coffee morning once that restarted after covid restrictions eased. The carers have all been great and always offer to help with housework but all mum usually wants is to chat to someone. It's great that there has been consistency with the carers who visit, so mum has been able to get to know them, and we appreciate the little reports we get through the 'Birdie' app after each visit, sometimes with photos. We would definitely recommend them and would still be using them if mum has not decided it was time to move closer to family.
Thank you for your feedback. We are grateful for your positive feedback. we will miss your Mum but hope she is happy with her move closer to family. Good luck for the future.
We are very pleased with the level of care mum is receiving and keeping mum safe at home. The management team and carers are so friendly and helpful. They are always on hand to help with any issues we have, it's a great weight off my mind. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time in providing us feedback on our services. We appreciate your kind words.
Mum has recently started receiving care services from Freedom Care. The carers provide a good and reliable service. Any change in Mum’s circumstances are adequately dealt with, and Freedom Care is flexible in accommodating additional requests.
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your positive feedback. Mum is a pleasure to assist with her daily tasks.
The service my mother has received has been very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. With continuity of care by regular care staff. I think this has been important, as it means my mother can establish a good relationship with the carers. Staff have been on time and willing to carry out other requests when needed.
Thank you for your positive feedback. Glad mum has settled with Freedom Care.
Freedom Care looked after my father (89) who was bedridden and "end of life". There were several delays getting Dad released from hospital and Freedom Care were flexible and accommodating even though they had to stand down staff at short notice. We had two primary teams of carers supported by ad hoc carers on their days off. Freedom Care were careful to ensure that after the first visit there was always at least one carer who had met Dad before and was familiar with his routine and care needs. Every one of the carers were professional, caring, empathetic and kind and so quickly built up a great rapport with both Dad and us. They had been trained to a high standard including spotting a UTI and throat infection not picked up by an earlier doctor's visit. They calmly managed an emergency when Dad fell out of bed. They followed clear protocols and processes, ensuring Dad was not moved and kept comfortable until the ambulance arrived to safely return him to bed.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. Your father was a true gentleman and had an amazingly supportive family.
The carers were always interested in finding out Mum's history and listening to her stories about Hoddesdon when she was a girl in the 1920s.
I would highly recommend Freedom Care for their professionalism and caring staff.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. It was a real pleasure to have met your mum, she was an amazing lady.
I felt so reassured to have had their “team of angels” help. I saw all staff assigned to Mum and they all worked so well together to provide Mum the dignity she deserved.
What was important to us was that Mum was happy and comfortable and not in pain. You could tell that all staff did their absolute best to care for Mum and were always thinking on their feet to change things for the best. Some of the little things they did made such a difference (painting nails/doing hair etc).
To see the smile on Mum’s face when the carers saw her made me feel so happy and reassured. They made Mum (and me) smile so much and that will live with me forever. So much so that some of the staff there now feel like family to me.
Thank you so much freedom care. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to help in Mum's hour of need.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback. You were an amazing family and we were privileged to have had the opportunity to help your mum.
I had been struggling to care for mum on my own and working full time (My sister lives abroad), and we wanted to keep Mum at home and to keep her independence.
Mum can still do a few things herself but gets lonely and bored and can be forgetful (She has mild Alzheimers) so we were looking for someone that could offer more of a companionship service and keep a check on Mum but still allowing her to be independent.
The carers visit daily, and Mum looks forward to them visiting, she has been appointed carers that she gets on well with and has something in common to chat about, they took the time to find out about Mum and to make sure that she had the right carers visiting and they talk to her as friends, which really makes a difference.
They are very accommodating if we need to change plans and always keep me informed of any concerns.
They really have helped both mum and myself.
Your mum is a wonderful lady who we find a pleasure to support.

Meet the Team (1)
I opened Freedom Care (Herts) in 2018. I am the Director and share the role of Registered Manager of Freedom Care (Herts). My many years of knowledge and experience in the care industry have helped me understand what it takes to provide the best care. My passion for care was ignited following the diagnosis of my late mother with PCR (a rare form of Dementia). As a family, we looked after my Mum at home to the very end and since then I have always had a passion to keep people where they are most comfortable, which for most is in their own homes. After seeing first-hand the standards of care available, especially for the younger side of the elderly, I decided to research the market and complete my care diplomas. I have worked in the home care sector for over 20 years and was finally able to open my own company. I regularly keep in contact with clients and family members, with the aim to ensure that all current clients are happy with their service and that if any changes need to be made, they’re implemented. Ensuring each and every client is cared for based on their individual needs.
