One member of staff in particular has been helpful, pleasant and willing to undertake tasks as they arise. I am hoping to extend my time away to make use of the full respite care period as my wife gets accustomed to the visits and I am sure that will happen successfully in time.

Very happy with the support mum has, the carers are friendly. The time keeping is good too. I particularly like the app we can use, I can see at a glance that mum is well and should I have to, I can monitor her food and drink intake quickly.

The carers themselves are exemplay, treating Mum with care, compassion, dignity and humour - it is lovely to hear them all laughing with Mum on their visits, and she regards them all as friends.This has made a very difficult period of her life so much better. As my sister and I don't live locally, the app enables us to be fully informed of the daily visits which is very readjusting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this agency.

I have been using Rest Assured Home Care for a few months now for my father. Every carer I have met have appeared friendly and caring. I have been using Rest Assured Home Care for the last 6 months to care for my auntie. My auntie required 4 x care visits per day, this was not a problem at all for Rest Assured and the planning and execution of the service has gone very smoothly. An added bonus is that they now use a health care professional online site, this allows me to see each carer's notes along with their concerns and observations, it also allows me to see in advance what time each visit will be and the name of the carer, this has been an enormous help.

We've had an excellent experience with Rest Assured. I met with the manager initially and we then had a home visit to meet with Mum and work out what support she needed and which carer would be best to support her. The carer who is supporting her is brilliant and perfectly suited. She has a fantastic approach and is able to encourage Mum to do things in a really supportive way.

There are some excellent carers. Those who do a good job really seem to care about the client and enhancing the client's life. They go above and beyond what’s asked and work very hard during their visits.
The carers have made helpful suggestions, such as waterproof bedding or food the client might like. They mostly respond appropriately to the client when they are rude and aggressive which diffuses the situation.
There are a few carers that do not seem to understand dementia and particularly Alzheimer’s. At times I feel some (particularly new) need more training. The company are quick to respond to any problems and they try to match the carer to the client.
About 1-2 times a week visits are too close together and not at/or near enough to agreed times.

I spoke to a staff member who was incredibly understanding and helpful toward understanding our unique needs. Very quickly solutions and options were provided to allow care to be in place by Wednesday 18th.

My sister in law looks forward to seeing the ladies who arrive to help her shower three mornings per week. The ladies are nearly always prompt, clean and tidy. She is pleased with the help, especially when they clear up afterwards. They are always willing to help with other tasks, if required.
Rest Assured Homecare have provided support for my mother for the past 15 months, with a morning and evening visit. During this time the care has been very good throughout and has enabled my mother to continue to enjoy the independence of living at home. Accompanied by a carer, she continues to make her weekly visit to the local hairdressers and whilst she is there, carers carry out a small grocery shop. As a widow, companionship is particularly important and my mother often mentions when carers have stayed to chat with her within the allocated time slot. This should certainly be encouraged. As I live in Cornwall, I find the app particularly useful, where I can observe the carers notes following visits.

Compared to other companies we have previously used for my father, Rest Assured Homecare has been very efficient and given personal care of a good standard to my father. They have taken more time and care with him and shown personal interest which is so important for the elderly who are often lovely and scared. So far very pleased.

Having used Rest Assured Homecare over the last two years, I have found the carers to be kind, understanding and aware of my husband's needs. I was inspired to start my business by the love and guidance of my Nan and Grandad, as well as my parents and our close-knit family. Their values, support, and example shaped who I am and instilled in me a deep respect for caring for others. I know how challenging it can be to juggle work, family life, and the responsibilities of looking after loved ones. Often, we want to be there as a daughter, son, grandchild, niece, or nephew—to spend quality time, share stories, and create lasting memories—not just to manage daily chores.
With this in mind, I founded Rest Assured Homecare in 2019, with the goal of providing the same high standard of care that I would want for my own family. At Rest Assured, we understand how important it is to get care needs right. That’s why we’ve created a caring, nurturing, and exemplary culture—one where every member of our team, no matter their role, is encouraged to play to their strengths and feels genuinely valued. Our registered manager, Lara, resides locally with her husband Jon and shares her home with dogs, cats, and chickens.
Before her career in care, Lara spent many years working in retail management roles. However, for the past five years, she has been dedicated to the care sector and is a very experienced manager. Lara possesses a genuine passion for delivering exceptional standards of care and providing excellent customer service.
I started off as a support worker about 8 years ago and then progressed to Senior carer, then supervisor and now a field care manager.
I work in care because I like being able to make a difference in people's lives.

I have worked in care for two years.
I work in care as it was a job I had never done before and always wanted to do so I gave it a go and I enjoy it as no day is the same and it's very rewarding. Since working with this company I have become a senior carer where I can give support to others.
The most important thing about care is knowing that you have done your job properly by going into a client's home and caring for their needs putting a smile on their face and also welcoming new clients and getting to know them and their families. The hours suit my home life support from management.
I stepped into the world of social care back in 2022, not long after moving to the UK with my family. The transition marked the beginning of a new chapter—both personally and professionally. By June 2024, I found myself working with Rest Assured Homecare Ltd as a hands-on care assistant. The company has a well-earned reputation for valuing dedication and recognising effort, so I was genuinely proud when, in April 2025, I was promoted to Care Coordinator.
My passion lies in providing care that is not only person-centred but also rooted in dignity, safety, and the promotion of independence. The time I spent on the frontline as a care assistant shaped my outlook; it taught me to approach each situation with empathy and practicality. Now, in my coordinating role, I oversee care plans, work closely with healthcare professionals, and do my best to make sure every individual under our care receives the thoughtful, consistent support they deserve. Since 2022, I’ve proudly served as a Field Care Supervisor, committed to supporting individuals in the place they most want to be—their own homes. I believe that everyone deserves the right to live with dignity, surrounded by the people and memories that matter most.
What inspires me every day is knowing that my work helps clients stay where they feel safest and happiest, while giving their families peace of mind that their loved ones are receiving compassionate, professional care. It’s more than a job—it’s a privilege to be part of someone’s life story and to make a meaningful difference in how they experience care.
