Visiting Angels were recommended to me by a friend at a crucial time when our family were struggling with the care and decline of my dad's health. I had spoken to several care providers but when I rang Visiting Angels they just said all the things that I so desperately needed to hear as to what help they could provide. It had taken over a year to persuade my parents to finally accept some care as they are very independent and saw care as an intrusion of their privacy. After a meeting between the care manager, a senior carer and my family together a care plan was set and my parents were reassured every step of the way. It was hard at first, my parents did not like strangers in the house, but we persevered and now three months later we are lucky to have regular carers who are empathetic, supportive, encouraging, and kind who work closely with our family so that for now our parents can live independently at home. We could not manage without them and would highly recommend.

As a family we were completely new to having the service of carers for our elderly mum, and we struck gold with Visiting Angels. The whole team has been truly amazing, so kind and considerate, always happy to adjust the care plan as we navigate this new support. The ladies who call to our mum really are angels and their visits brighten mum's day, keeping her in the home she loves, maintaining her independence and dignity. We can't thank you all enough

We have nothing but praise for the kindness and care offered by Visiting Angels. We are particularly impressed with the friendliness and attention of detail shown by the carers. Our 98 year old mum always looks weel-dressed and cared for, the house is tidy and well-organised. The carers encourage mum to exercise and have taken her out for a walk or coffee at the local cafe. Visiting Angels have always been in close communications with us re any issues as well as her general needs. Mum has formed particularly close attatchments to some of the carers and looks forward to all the carers visits. Thank you Visiting Angels.

Have found the wonderful angels truly special. They are always kind, gentle and respectful. My mum is in hospital at the moment and the lovely Skye has been visiting her had the hospital. This has really lifted her mood an helped with her recovery. Our family are so glad we found them.

I have been very happy with the care I have received. Staff are cheerful and reliable. They have been willing to do all I have asked of them. I have had the consistent care of one helper recently and all much happier with that arrangement. At first I had a variety of staff.

I approached Visiting Angels after being let down by a different agency. They looked after my Mum, whose mental and physical health became progressively more challenging, with the utmost care and professionalism for the last year of her life. They also rearranged care very promptly after a hospital stay when she needed additional help. They never let us down. The manager is exceptional, agreeing to collect and deliver Christmas lunch supplies when I asked him (I don't live locally), buying her newspapers, and generally calling in when needed even on evenings and weekends. The day she was really ill with what turned out to be pneumonia, he called in on her at the end of the day to help her regular carer get her to bed. When Mum was unable to stand he made sure she got medical attention - he waited with her until the ambulance arrived. He is still helping me today with her now empty house, six months after her death. I feel very fortunate to have found Visiting Angels.

The carers from Visiting Angels who have been caring for my mother and giving me respite have been wonderful. They have treated us with kindness and compassion and have been vigilant over Mother's state of health. Many thanks to you all. You have been flexible when it came to changes in Mother's care schedule, which is much appreciated. It started as four evening visits, whilst a family holiday took place and there was no other family member to pop in and check on her. Lovely caring service which gave Mum great support through difficult times. Always easy to contact and gave valuable feedback when asked.
