My relative, who is frail and housebound, had been with several care companies until he commenced with Visiting Angels. I am his only relative but unfortunately, we live 200 miles apart. I speak with him daily, so have a good idea of how he is doing physically and mentally. Since the move to Visiting Angels, I can tell my cousin is considerably less stressed. This has made my life easier. I have met the manager and some of his staff on several occasions and they have always been very professional. I know my cousin has made a good connection with his carers and that means a lot. I would have no hesitation in recommending Visiting Angels.

I was looking to replace my Mother's care agency due to an unreliable service. After several phone calls and emails Visiting Angels - South Herts was the first company to respond. After the initial visit, we felt confident that they would be able to provide the reliable, friendly and caring service that we desired.

Over the last fourteen months I can honestly say that they have provided the service they promised. They have treated my Mother with care, compassion and dignity. As my Mother's health deteriorated they were able to provide additional hours and even an overnight stay at short notice. The whole of the team have been extremely supportive which has continued after my Mother's passing.

From day one we like what we heard. A quick telephone call and then a visit to our home (social distancing measure adhered to). The staff are very conscientious, especially during COVID and always made sure that my mother in law was kept safe. She thoroughly enjoyed her shopping trips out on a Tuesday, something we hope to reinstate in mid-April. As the in-laws are getting older, we may need to increase the care they need but I will not need to look any further. Visiting Angels are highly recommended, even with my mother-in-law's high standards.

We have been very impressed with the responsive and flexible approach to the care of our mum. In these tricky times, Visiting Angels have gone out of their way to support my mum to live independently and provide bright moments in long days.

Very sadly my father died in April last year unexpectedly. My father was my mother's carer. They were married for over 58 years. Initially, my mother was living with either myself or one of my sisters, but by the end of the summer, my mother wanted to live back in her own home. As my parents home is over an hour away from any of us, this felt like a huge step for all of us. However, after the end of the first visit made by Visiting Angels, the transition to independent living for my mother seemed a possibility and after a lot of telephone conversations, further visits and a great deal of patience from the organisation, we collaboratively put together a programme of visits/activities. The Angels, as we call them, are friendly, compassionate, reliable and flexible. Communication between key staff and us is good. Regular reviews are carried out and programmes adjusted. We feel reassured that my mother is in safe hands and with their support, is able to live in her own home. Thank you.

I have had awful experiences of local agencies so I was very wary of trying again when needing care for my very sick Dad. However, Visiting Angels have been fantastic and have gone out of their way to make the transition into needing care so much smoother for Dad.
The manager took the time to choose the right carers for Dad and he's very happy. The agency has made what could have been an extremely stressful time for both Dad and me into a very easy ride. So much so that I'm about to take on the agency to do some of my own care.
Unlike any other agency I've tried, Visiting Angels are punctual and reliable. The carers are enthusiastic and caring, and the agency is very flexible. Dad's health has improved dramatically whilst under their care.

Huge thanks to the whole team involved in Dad's care. Highly recommend!

It is rare to acknowledge that a service was to one's complete satisfaction, but such was the case with Visiting Angels. At every level - administration, implementation and application - there was excellence. We would recommend Visiting Angels to anyone requiring home care after surgery.
