Have found the wonderful angels truly special. They are always kind, gentle and respectful. My mum is in hospital at the moment and the lovely Skye has been visiting her had the hospital. This has really lifted her mood an helped with her recovery. Our family are so glad we found them.

I have been very happy with the care I have received. Staff are cheerful and reliable. They have been willing to do all I have asked of them. I have had the consistent care of one helper recently and all much happier with that arrangement. At first I had a variety of staff.

My. Wife receives only the best attention we could wish for from the staff of Visiting Angels,, nothing is too much trouble, I could not wish for better care for my wife.the standard of care is of the highest professional standard and is a credit to the company .

My mother had visiting angels for a short while but she was very pleased with the service. The carer was friendly and established a good rapport with my mother very quickly. It was important for us to have someone my mother felt comfortable with and she did so immediately.
I would recommend the
service for anyone who needs support in their home.

We employed the services of Visiting Angels for a 90+yr old relative following a lengthy hospital stay. The Manager, went out of her way to visit her in hospital and at home, to ascertain not only what her needs and requirements were but also to assess which carers would be most appropriate to send
in.
Not only were we highly delighted with the manager but also the carers she placed with our relative who could be 'difficult / challenging' due to her illness.
No only were we incredibly delighted with the above, Visiting Angels provides excellent VFM in today's 'market' compared to rival companies.
Thank you to all at VA, and the staff involved in the day to day care of our relative.
Would I recommend Visiting Angels to other looking forward to care at home?

I approached Visiting Angels after being let down by a different agency. They looked after my Mum, whose mental and physical health became progressively more challenging, with the utmost care and professionalism for the last year of her life. They also rearranged care very promptly after a hospital
stay when she needed additional help. They never let us down. The manager is exceptional, agreeing to collect and deliver Christmas lunch supplies when I asked him (I don't live locally), buying her newspapers, and generally calling in when needed even on evenings and weekends. The day she was really ill with what turned out to be pneumonia, he called in on her at the end of the day to help her regular carer get her to bed. When Mum was unable to stand he made sure she got medical attention - he waited with her until the ambulance arrived. He is still helping me today with her now empty house, six months after her death. I feel very fortunate to have found Visiting Angels.

Lovely caring service which gave Mum great support through difficult times. Always easy to contact and gave valuable feedback when asked. Visiting Angels have been looking after my mother for the last eight months. It started as four evening visits, whilst a family holiday took place and there was no other family member to pop in and check on her. Then, as a family, we found ourselves in a situation where there was no one to look after
Mum and keep an eye on her, so Visiting Angels, after a call and a chat, turned on a sixpence and saved the day for us, giving us peace of mind that Mum was being looked in on regularly. Visiting Angels kept in regular contact with the family, updating us on her needs, condition and the well being of our mum. They helped her to stay as independent as possible. As the daughter of someone they love dearly, I could not have asked for a better team of people to help me. Thank you, Visiting Angels. Hope you are there for me when I need help.

The team from Visiting Angels looked after my mother last year (2020) and were wonderful with her. We had used other care companies but Mum had never settled having strangers in her home. Visiting Angels but were different. They combined professionalism, compassion and companionship and she came to
regard them as her friends as much as her carers. My mother passed away last December and I will always be grateful for the care and support that Visiting Angels provided in the last few months of her life. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Visiting Angels.

My relative, who is frail and housebound, had been with several care companies until he commenced with Visiting Angels. I am his only relative but unfortunately, we live 200 miles apart. I speak with him daily, so have a good idea of how he is doing physically and mentally. Since the move to Visiting
Angels, I can tell my cousin is considerably less stressed. This has made my life easier. I have met the manager and some of his staff on several occasions and they have always been very professional. I know my cousin has made a good connection with his carers and that means a lot. I would have no hesitation in recommending Visiting Angels.

I was looking to replace my Mother's care agency due to an unreliable service. After several phone calls and emails Visiting Angels - South Herts was the first company to respond. After the initial visit, we felt confident that they would be able to provide the reliable, friendly and caring service
that we desired.
Over the last fourteen months I can honestly say that they have provided the service they promised. They have treated my Mother with care, compassion and dignity. As my Mother's health deteriorated they were able to provide additional hours and even an overnight stay at short notice. The whole of the team have been extremely supportive which has continued after my Mother's passing.

From day one we like what we heard. A quick telephone call and then a visit to our home (social distancing measure adhered to). The staff are very conscientious, especially during COVID and always made sure that my mother in law was kept safe. She thoroughly enjoyed her shopping trips out on a Tuesday,
something we hope to reinstate in mid-April. As the in-laws are getting older, we may need to increase the care they need but I will not need to look any further. Visiting Angels are highly recommended, even with my mother-in-law's high standards.

Gareth’s goal is to develop a Centre of Excellence for Home Care for the people of Hertfordshire that will be a beacon for senior care. Gareth says that there is so much excellent best practice in the Visiting Angels network which can be brought to South Herts, that he is confident that this can become a reality.


Gareth is also looking forward to the Visiting Angels team working with the local community on a range of issues that impact seniors including active living, dementia, and falls prevention.
