All care staff are lovely and care for Frank, nothing is ro much for them. From the first visit.tracey arranged care to start within 24 hours which gave everyone peace of mind.Best company for care. They spend thr full time and support his wife with house tasks.
"My daughter has had the pleasure of being a client of Aphoenix for over five years and we have found the staff amazing. They never find anything too much to do for her. They take her out and do nice things and also help with trying to do the garden during her social calls. Would thoroughly recommend Aphoenix care
If I request a change of time to cover an appointment they will always accommodate my request and provide cover.
As a person with high anxiety I prefer to have a small team to cover my social calls, this has always been taken into account, with one main carer and generally the manager or one other carer covering if necessary. I get on well with them all, can talk about anything, even things that are quite private and they listen and help where possible if I have a problem.
They run a club regularly where lunch is provided, games are played and a social experience is provided. A trip to the pantomime at Christmas was lovely as was lunch at the garden centre.
For my birthday a bouquet of flowers arrived, Christmas and Easter gifts as well.

Very good everyone very helpful they take me to appointments and take me shopping and I go to their lunch club and really enjoy myself, they also help me ok after my pets I have a dog called Teddy and a cockatiel called Paulie

Aphoenix Care I have found to be a company that has proven over the past six years I have been associated with them to be outstanding in their services having given passionate care to my late wife. Since then they have provided me with companionship in hosting regular meetings with other service users. Arranging transport to and from venues, where a lunch and entertainment such as a quiz, bingo and the opportunity to engage with other service users. Describing it to be like a family gathering would be an understatement.

Apheonix have looked after my mum for quite a few years now. All of the carers that look after my Mum have been kind and caring with her with many of them going above and beyond in their work with her, showing her real friendship and love. I find all the staff very helpful. I get picked up when there is a club meeting. I do the quiz on club days. We also have a meal provided by the carers which is normally very good. So all in all I am very pleased with the service.

Wish there was more consistency with times of visits AM visits can be anything from 7 - 10:30a, evening are usually better but lack information on who is coming and at what times.
We understand your concerns around consistency, as you mentioned your morning visits can vary between 7:00 and 10:30am. Having reviewed our records, we can see visits are mostly around 8am, with the occasional exception.

Not living in the UK, my mother's care has been entirely entrusted to the team at APhoenix. My mum - as stubborn as they come - also lives with limited mobility and dementia, along with the loyal company of her pug. Thanks to the dedication, patience, and genuine care of her support team, she has been able to remain in her own home.
They engage her in both physical and mental activities, keeping her stimulated and connected. Giovanna's journey in care started when she was 16, I made a cup of tea for a lady in a nursing home, and the look on this beautiful lady's face when I placed the cup on the table touched a place in my heart.
This is where my passion began! I have worked in nursing homes, extra care schemes, prison service, secure units, A&E, hospitals and multi-domiciliary sites for over 34 years.
The biggest thing I have learnt in life is that "people work for people" and Care workers are absolutely amazing people. Our hearts are beautiful and we enable people to stay at home, surrounded by their whole world, with our dedication and compassion for what we do.
The reason behind Aphoenix Care is the passion to make a difference as small as each day can be, but to make a difference to one person each day, makes each day worthwhile.
To build a family-run company with a team who share the same values and who feel part of the Aphoenix Family is such an amazing adventure and we're making that difference every single day, I am very proud to be part of such an amazing family.
Terri has worked in care all of her working career so has an in-depth knowledge of all care needs.
She carries out all of the assessments with all of the new service Users to ensure the care and support required are delivered to each individual.
Sophie has been with Aphoenix Care since the company started and has recruited all of the team.
As well as being responsible for all of the attraction routes she also supports candidates the whole way through the recruitment process always ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and compliant.
Sophie can often be seen out with the team to capture Social Media content as well as motivating the team to submit news for us to post.
