Aphoenix Care are a mid-sized, independent Home Care Company which was formed in 2019 by a manager with over 30 years’ experience within all aspects of the care sector. The aim was to build a company which is underpinned with family core values at the centre of it.

Aphoenix Care believes everyone has a vocation in life, and they employ staff members who believe theirs is to care for others and make a difference to people’s lives. When you find your vocation in life it is not work, it really is like visiting family each day and supporting them in living life to the full. The team place care and compassion above everything else they do, ensuring they deliver a service that empowers each person they support.

The team are extremely proud of their recent Care Quality Commission rating (April 2021), receiving good in 4 areas and an outstanding in care, which is the highest level you can achieve. They have also just been awarded recognition in the Top 20 Home Care Providers (August 2022) which they are extremely proud of.

Generally very good overall experience they mostly do what is asked and helpful to a good degree, obviously we sometimes have one or two problems which we usually sort out so they keep us informed how Mum and Dad are and come out when needed very good they also have a get together fortnightly which
we attend when possible some of the carers go the extra mile which greatly appreciated all in all very good.

Aphoenix Carers commenced caring for my husband, who has Parkinson's Dementia, in May 2022. In July, after hospital admission, my husband came home bedbound, and since then, has had two carers four times a day. The carers are all dedicated and very caring and friendly, and it is reassuring to know my
husband receives first-class care. My husband has a catheter which causes numerous problems, is incontinent faeces and has a very large inguinal hernia; he has not had any skin pressure sores, which shows the care he receives is excellent.
I also have a carer twice a week for 4 hours to enable me to have time for myself.
Aphoenix is like a family and provides the best care anyone could ask for their loved one.

I have found the Apheonix care team very responsive to my elderly mum's needs; she has been poorly the last couple of weeks, and all of the team have shown patience and kindness with her struggles, above and beyond every day, every time. Always cheerful, nothing is too much trouble. Always a smile and
a kind word. Special thanks go to two ladies who feel part of the family - these days - thank you.

I moved my father to APhoenix over a year ago, and it’s the best thing I could have done. They treat him as an individual and part of their family. I could not ask for anymore if I tried. Absolute A-star company, which I would highly recommend.

This review is for the period/length of time that my mum was cared for by Aphoenix Care. The ladies who cared for my mum were truly amazing. They catered for her every need and went above and beyond. My mum loved them and I know they cared about mum. I would highly recommend Aphoenix Care.

I am extremely happy with all aspects of care from Aphoenix. Two carers arrive four times each day and no matter which carers come, they all bounce in and perform their tasks efficiently whilst chatting to their client and generally making him feel very happy. They deal with all his needs and nothing
is too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aphoenix to anybody requiring a happy, friendly, professional care package.

Very happy with this care company, so friendly, reliable and they will go the extra mile for you. It's nice to know that my mum is safe and looked after very well, never had an issue with them and been with them for over a year. It is nice to see my mum happy with the girls that help her and I know

My mum has been receiving care from Aphoenix for a year now. She has a visit four times every day and usually one of three ladies. Every one of them is brilliant with my mum, so friendly, affectionate and very caring. They talk, play mum’s favourite music and make each other laugh. They have become
good friends of mum’s and also the whole family and it’s apparent that mum is comfortable with all of them. They keep us informed of any issues. I am confident that when they are with my mum she is safe. I would definitely recommend Aphoenix.

Been receiving care from Aphoenix Care for six months now and in all that time, bearing in mind my wife has four calls a day, the care has been excellent. I have spoken to the carers on a small number of occasions but they are few and far between and the issues have always been small and rectified immediately.
The carers are always polite, cheerful and treat my wife as a person, not a client. In fact, my wife does not have carers, she has a large number of friends calling in to look after her needs. Conversations are always connected to my wife’s interests and nothing is too much trouble in helping my wife. I have also found Aphoenix Care very good at communicating any timing issues, if they are going to be late due to issues beyond their control, they always call to let me know an estimated time of arrival. Very useful in planning mealtimes. Overall a friendly, courteous and above all a very professional group of people involved at all levels, whose efforts need to be applauded.

Giovanna Grieco

Job Title: Founder Joined: 2019

Giovanna's journey in care started when she was 16, I made a cup of tea for a lady in a nursing home, and the look on this beautiful lady's face when I placed the cup on the table touched a place in my heart.


This is where my passion began! I have worked in nursing homes, extra care schemes, prison service, secure units, A&E, hospitals and multi-domiciliary sites for over 34 years.


The biggest thing I have learnt in life is that "people work for people" and Care workers are absolutely amazing people. Our hearts are beautiful and we enable people to stay at home, surrounded by their whole world, with our dedication and compassion for what we do.


The reason behind Aphoenix Care is the passion to make a difference as small as each day can be, but to make a difference to one person each day, makes each day worthwhile.


To build a family-run company with a team who share the same values and who feel part of the Aphoenix Family is such an amazing adventure and we're making that difference every single day, I am very proud to be part of such an amazing family.

Terri has worked in care all of her working career so has an in-depth knowledge of all care needs.


She carries out all of the assessments with all of the new service Users to ensure the care and support required are delivered to each individual.

Sophie Panton

Sophie has been with Aphoenix Care since the company started and has recruited all of the team.


As well as being responsible for all of the attraction routes she also supports candidates the whole way through the recruitment process always ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and compliant.


Sophie can often be seen out with the team to capture Social Media content as well as motivating the team to submit news for us to post.
