Very happy with this care company, so friendly, reliable and they will go the extra mile for you. It's nice to know that my mum is safe and looked after very well, never had an issue with them and been with them for over a year. It is nice to see my mum happy with the girls that help her and I know I can go away and she is well looked after.

My mum has been receiving care from Aphoenix for a year now. She has a visit four times every day and usually one of three ladies. Every one of them is brilliant with my mum, so friendly, affectionate and very caring. They talk, play mum’s favourite music and make each other laugh. They have become good friends of mum’s and also the whole family and it’s apparent that mum is comfortable with all of them. They keep us informed of any issues. I am confident that when they are with my mum she is safe. I would definitely recommend Aphoenix.

Been receiving care from Aphoenix Care for six months now and in all that time, bearing in mind my wife has four calls a day, the care has been excellent. I have spoken to the carers on a small number of occasions but they are few and far between and the issues have always been small and rectified immediately. The carers are always polite, cheerful and treat my wife as a person, not a client. In fact, my wife does not have carers, she has a large number of friends calling in to look after her needs. Conversations are always connected to my wife’s interests and nothing is too much trouble in helping my wife. I have also found Aphoenix Care very good at communicating any timing issues, if they are going to be late due to issues beyond their control, they always call to let me know an estimated time of arrival. Very useful in planning mealtimes. Overall a friendly, courteous and above all a very professional group of people involved at all levels, whose efforts need to be applauded.

Meet the Team (3)
Giovanna's journey in care started when she was 16, I made a cup of tea for a lady in a nursing home, and the look on this beautiful lady's face when I placed the cup on the table touched a place in my heart.
This is where my passion began! I have worked in nursing homes, extra care schemes, prison service, secure units, A&E, hospitals and multi-domiciliary sites for over 34 years.
The biggest thing I have learnt in life is that "people work for people" and Care workers are absolutely amazing people. Our hearts are beautiful and we enable people to stay at home, surrounded by their whole world, with our dedication and compassion for what we do.
The reason behind Aphoenix Care is the passion to make a difference as small as each day can be, but to make a difference to one person each day, makes each day worthwhile.
To build a family-run company with a team who share the same values and who feel part of the Aphoenix Family is such an amazing adventure and we're making that difference every single day, I am very proud to be part of such an amazing family.
Terri has worked in care all of her working career so has an in-depth knowledge of all care needs.
She carries out all of the assessments with all of the new service Users to ensure the care and support required are delivered to each individual.
Sophie has been with Aphoenix Care since the company started and has recruited all of the team.
As well as being responsible for all of the attraction routes she also supports candidates the whole way through the recruitment process always ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and compliant.
Sophie can often be seen out with the team to capture Social Media content as well as motivating the team to submit news for us to post.
