Companionship

Saffron Support can help with Companionship where they will spend some time with an individual and support with Activities at home like Puzzles, playing cards, baking. They can also support going out and about for a walk, drive in the car or shopping trips. The companionship support has proved to be very popular where family and friends have been unable to attend their loved ones.

Outings/ Shopping

Saffron Support can help individuals attend hospital appointments, GP appointments, doing the shopping, picking up prescriptions or going out and about for a coffee at a cafe or out for lunch.

Last year 2019 Saffron Support Supported an individual to go to Cambridge on a Christmas shopping trip to surprise his family buy buying the presents independently with his Care support worker.

PA support

Saffron support can offer help with reading letters and making phone calls on behalf of the individual where they may not be able to hear very well on the phone and navigate through the touch button call centres. They can also read the letter if the individual's eyesight is starting to fail them.

Overall Experience

I have interacted with several carers, and the owner of Saffron Support Limited and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any family looking for care for their elderly loved ones. My Grandma feels secure and supported and is treated with dignity and respect by all of the women I have met. She is particularly

enamoured with the owner herself, who despite a very busy schedule does check in on her quite often personally which is also lovely - and came to her 80th birthday party locally as well! I know my Mum rests much easier knowing that my Grandma has this kind of support on a twice-daily basis.
