What a wonderful team! Caring, cheerful, and hard working, and I know that my wife Sheila is well looked after and that she feels the same. We have never had a single grouse about anything. All in all - top service. Thank you all.
Thank you for leaving us such a lovely review, we really are very grateful.
It is amazing to hear you have found the wonderful team in Wakefield to be caring, cheerful, hard working and it is great to hear you know Sheila is well looked after.
We will be sure to share your feedback with the team, who will be thrilled to read your comments.
Kindest regards

I do sympathise, however, with the management team, they are constantly run to capacity. When there is sickness, annual leave, or care issues, they come out of the office to help out. More often than not, this is the case; it would be helpful to provide more resources. I think a 'pool' care is needed for times when cars are off the road. Good staff are leaving to go elsewhere, which is a shame. Overall, an excellent team!!
Samantha,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it. We are pleased to hear the management and carers you have met and care for your Mum at Wakefield are excellent. We will be sure to pass on your feedback and comments to the team.Kindest regardsKatie
Very good company.
Thank you so much for leaving such a great review, we're so grateful!
Best wishes.
Excellent service, reliable and caring staff.
The service I receive is what I have asked for, and at the moment is all that is required, should the situation chance then I will ask them for extra help.
I cannot recommend Helping Hands highly enough. Every single person is a star, and in my experience, goes over and above normal to look after me. They are always cheerful and efficient. They get me my meals and make me feel important. They never treat me as an old woman who is a nuisance.
Staff are positive, helpful and competent.
The only slight concern has been some small problems with communication occasionally.
Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review! I'm pleased to hear how happy you are with our service and staff, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you wish to speak about any concerns. With very best wishes.
The whole management and care team are wonderful and can't do enough for Mum, she's always treated with kindness, understanding and dignity. We, as her family, are very happy with the service given and always have the assurance she's always well looked after. As always, we thank the whole of the Helping Hands Home Care team.
If we have a need for carers in the future we will definitely contact Helping Hands.
It is obvious that the carers are well trained and treat the relatives and carers with dignity, care and respect.
I would not hesitate to hire them.

Best wishes,
I have recommended your services to several people. Thank you all.
It was our absolute pleasure to provide care for your husband and I'm delighted to hear how our carers were able to comfort him and attend to his needs over a long period of time. We're so grateful for your kind words and we can't thank you enough.
Best wishes,
Helping Hands continues to provide care in a totally considerate manner to the highest expectations. They always make every effort, and succeed, in accommodating any and every change in needs as they occasionally unexpectedly arise.
Best wishes.
I am very happy with my twice daily visits from Helping Hands so far. Will be in contact if I need more.
Best wishes.
Everyone we have had contact with have been very helpful and friendly carers have been like part of our family. They have been very efficient and have treated us with respect, their help has been invaluable. Thank you to all at Helping Hands Home Care (Wakefield) .
My feedback to the six criteria below is based on my general assumption of how I feel the care is going. I get text communication from the carer which indicates her general conscientiousness, honesty and compassion. However, as my mother's verbal communication is poor I get no information from my mother regarding the carer visits and sadly I have had no information at all from the company to date. I did expect daily record sheet information following each visit but have not had this to date.
I have no complaints about any of the young ladies.
Very satisfied and extremely happy with the service, always obliging and helpful.
After 3 days of care, there have been no problems.
Carers are polite and very helpful. They always put in extra calls when needed.
Happy at the moment, very helpful. Some like to have a chat and others like to get on with what they're doing. Hope it continues.

Meet the Team (1)
to Branch Manager in January 2024. With experience in care since age 18, including brain
injury support, I find Helping Hands exceptional, valuing carers and providing outstanding
care. A mum of three grown-up children, I enjoy spending time with them, walking, and
socialising with friends. Helping Hands truly goes above and beyond for everyone.
