The management staff & carers at Wakefield branch are excellent, I can only speak for the carers I have met & who look after my mum.

I do sympathise, however, with the management team, they are constantly run to capacity. When there is sickness, annual leave, or care issues, they come out of the office to help out. More often than not, this is the case; it would be helpful to provide more resources. I think a 'pool' care is needed for times when cars are off the road. Good staff are leaving to go elsewhere, which is a shame. Overall, an excellent team!!

I cannot recommend Helping Hands highly enough. Every single person is a star, and in my experience, goes over and above normal to look after me. They are always cheerful and efficient. They get me my meals and make me feel important. They never treat me as an old woman who is a nuisance.

The home care my mum receives is outstanding!

The whole management and care team are wonderful and can't do enough for Mum, she's always treated with kindness, understanding and dignity. We, as her family, are very happy with the service given and always have the assurance she's always well looked after. As always, we thank the whole of the Helping Hands Home Care team.

I will be forever grateful for the care and attention given to our family from your dedicated staff. Always a smile and encouraging words and suggestions for a better way of dealing with a difficult situation. I welcomed them to our home and for the support they gave me. My late husband asked each day for their help and was comforted by the way they were able to attend to his needs over a long period of time.

I have recommended your services to several people. Thank you all.

My feedback to the six criteria below is based on my general assumption of how I feel the care is going. I get text communication from the carer which indicates her general conscientiousness, honesty and compassion. However, as my mother's verbal communication is poor I get no information from my mother regarding the carer visits and sadly I have had no information at all from the company to date. I did expect daily record sheet information following each visit but have not had this to date.

I have worked with Helping Hands for nearly five years, starting as a carer and progressing

injury support, I find Helping Hands exceptional, valuing carers and providing outstanding
care. A mum of three grown-up children, I enjoy spending time with them, walking, and

socialising with friends. Helping Hands truly goes above and beyond for everyone.
