I cannot recommend Helping Hands highly enough. Every single person is a star, and in my experience, goes over and above normal to look after me. They are always cheerful and efficient. They get me my meals and make me feel important. They never treat me as an old woman who is a nuisance.

The only slight concern has been some small problems with communication occasionally.

My feedback to the six criteria below is based on my general assumption of how I feel the care is going. I get text communication from the carer which indicates her general conscientiousness, honesty and compassion. However, as my mother's verbal communication is poor I get no information from my mother
regarding the carer visits and sadly I have had no information at all from the company to date. I did expect daily record sheet information following each visit but have not had this to date.

I have worked with Helping Hands for nearly five years, starting as a carer and progressing
to Branch Manager in January 2024. With experience in care since age 18, including brain
injury support, I find Helping Hands exceptional, valuing carers and providing outstanding
care. A mum of three grown-up children, I enjoy spending time with them, walking, and
socialising with friends. Helping Hands truly goes above and beyond for everyone.
