Professional Carers have been caring for my mum for just over a year now and visit her 4 times daily. I can't praise them highly enough with the care that they provide and she looks forward to their arrival. I don't know what we would have done without them all and can't thank them enough for what they do for her.

Professional Carers are professional, pro-active and, above all, caring. My mother has been supported by this organisation for some years now, and I have always found the carers approachable. They have Mum's best interests at heart, and monitor her for any health changes; if they have any concerns, they contact me immediately. As we live 400 miles away, this is reassuring, and I have full confidence in them.

Professional carers have been providing support to my dad for the last two years. Both dad and I are very happy with the service provided. Carers are always compassionate and caring in providing my dads care needs, ensuring he remains as independent as he can be. Communication between myself and co-ordinators has been excellent with regular reviews of dads care needs and checking in to make sure we remain satisfied. I have a background in nursing and have been very impressed and would have no hesitation in recommending professional carers

The guys are amazing. I wouldn't be able to live my own life without these guys looking after my uncle too and I am for ever grateful for all they do for him. My uncle was very nervous about having people come in to help at first but these guys soon made him very comfortable about it and he looks forward to them coming everyday. These guys go above and beyond for us.

I cannot recommend this team enough. Every request was dealt with in such a friendly, professional and prompt manner, nothing seemed to be too much for the team to provide. Everyone from the visiting carers to the team in the office was fantastic with providing care for my grandmother. We don't know what we would have done without you all.

Keep up the good work, and know that you are very much appreciated.

India Livingstone Job Title: Registered Branch Manager Joined: 2022
India Livingstone

India joined Professional Carers in 2022, bringing 11 years of experience in the social care sector to her role. She began her career as a Community Carer before progressing into Care Coordinator and Care Manager roles, giving her a deep understanding of both frontline care and leadership.

Originally studying Nursing, India worked part-time in social care alongside her degree. It was during this time that she discovered her true passion lay in social care, where she could build meaningful relationships and deliver genuinely person-centred support. She is committed to respecting individuals’ choices and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

India holds multiple qualifications in Health and Social Care and is currently working towards her SVQ Level 4, with plans to pursue the Care Services Leadership and Management Award once complete. She is passionate about ongoing development, both for herself and her team and is continually seeking ways to learn, grow, and enhance the care and support her team provides.

India shares, "I believe outstanding care starts with a supported and valued workforce. By leading by example, I aim to create a positive and inclusive environment where both staff and service users can thrive, ensuring every individual receives the highest quality care while feeling respected, informed, and empowered."

Sebastian Zuchlke Job Title: Deputy Manager and Branch Trainer Joined: 2022
Sebastian Zuchlke

I began my career in the UK in 2015 after relocating from Poland, where I had previously worked as a paramedic. My first role in the UK was as a Community Carer in Edinburgh and South Queensferry, employed by Professional Carers. During this time, I learned a great deal about the nature of the carer’s role, the challenges it brings, and the vital impact it has on the lives of service users.

Between 2017 and 2022, I worked in a nursing home, progressing from Senior Care Assistant to Care Practitioner. During this period, I achieved my SVQ Level 3, gained Medication Administration competencies, and took on responsibilities as a floor manager and team leader. The experience and skills I developed enabled me to provide effective support to my team, and I saw firsthand how empowering staff has a direct and positive effect on the quality of care they deliver.

In my current role at Professional Carers, I am now undertaking the role of Deputy Manager / Branch Trainer. My responsibilities include supporting the Registered Manager in providing leadership and quality oversight of the branch, as well as designing and delivering a range of training sessions, ensuring that the team understands the importance of continuous professional development in providing compassionate, safe, and empowering care.

I strongly believe that high-quality care begins with valuing and supporting staff. This includes listening to frontline workers, responding to their feedback, making decisions that benefit the team, and creating opportunities for professional growth. I always make time to listen, offer support, and provide guidance so that staff feel confident, empowered, and capable in their roles.
