Hi. My mother Audrey lives with me in my house. To be honest I was wary of people coming into my home to help mum at night when sometimes I am in bed but I have the most wonderful team who give love and care over and above their job responsibilities. They are Tracey and Cath and they have got my mother singing songs with a great big smile on her face and it's so nice to see that. She has dementia and sometimes gets stressed out and confused but with these 2 wonderful ladies whom she loves and remembers it makes my life and mental health so much easier. Thank you so much for sending them both into my life and improving my mums life for me. Please be aware too they are not allowed any days or holidays off. Its just not on lol xxxx

Person centered is the strategy. However all staff I have met go way beyond a simple philosophy. I am treated with dignity and respect. My independence is encouraged. Never underestimate the sunshine they bring lifting the clouds that have us smiling. Everyone might be staff doing a job. However, I cannot praise the staff too highly. They bring joy and a smile when they visit. They listen patiently to my moans and groans. They share a daft childish sense of humour, that no matter how down I feel, they have lifted my spirits. They all do more than dress and wash me or give me meds and a cup of tea. If other care providers come close to your extraordinary standards then cannot ask for a better standard of care. No greater compliment than to say - they have become my family.

I would just like to thank professional carers for their brilliant care support and respect for my mum without there help I don't know where I would be without their brilliant service done by all of them gives me peace of mind that she is getting the care she needs

My 90yrs young mother moved to extra care housing in October 2024 due to needing support to stay as independent as possible. As a family we are very grateful to the team for looking after our mum and respecting her wishes. She had been living with a cancer diagnosis for the last 3yrs of her life and without a care support package, she probably wouldn't have stayed with us as long as she did. It gave me peace of mind knowing that there was an on call team 24hrs should she need them and also allowed the time spent with her to be about nice things and not just the physical care.

I cannot express my thanks and just how much this team of unbelievable carers were during my beloved Dad's final days of his life. They came into my Dad's home quietly every night, twice a night. They looked after him so carefully and gently. We could not have coped without them, and because of these wonderful people he could be at home where he wanted to be. We never got to thank them enough as they came and went every night so quietly. Jasmine and Jodie were the last carers to ensure he was clean and comfortable, and wet his mouth before he passed at 8.05 am. Jasmine came to look after him most frequently and she is just amazing. But all of you were wonderful: Jasmine, Jodie, Alison, Lauren, Marigold, and a lovely male carer whose name i'm sorry I don't know. We were also supported by Lindsay, Ashleigh and Lily. I want to thank all of you on behalf of my wonderful Dad, John (Jack) and my sister, and our son and daughters and his great grandson. Thankyou .

I highly recommend Professional Carers Wirral. I recently had a call to tell me know that my mum, who has dementia started putting wet cloths on top of the TV to cool it down and had bowls and pots of water all around the TV. I didn't know this was happening as she covered them with a thin scarf and there was no cloths on top of the TV when ever I was there however I noticed streaks on the screen but didn't put two and two together. The carer explained to my mum that it was unsafe which is a daunting task as she gets quite angry now but I thanked her for safeguarding my mum and letting me know, so we are all more vigilant now. Life is better knowing that good carers are visiting her twice a day and give our family piece of mind as she still values her independence.

My mum has been a client for a number of years now, she has night calls from Professional Carers. A number of weeks ago, my mum became very ill in the middle of the night. The 2 carers who were visiting my mum, called an ambulance immediately. This quick action, saved her life. I cant thank Michelle and Gemma enough. My mum enjoys her little visits from all the staff, which shows how well they care for their clients, and go above and beyond to ensure their well-being

My partner has been with Professional Carers for nearly two years and is very happy with the quality care they provide her to enable her to live independently, as I am. The carers and management are very friendly and supportive of her needs and very accommodating to her changing needs due to her illness. Very clear care notes on the system that I can read when I am away. Very worthy of 5 stars review. Quality care in a professional friendly manner

The care provider do the minimum. The charge for 30 minutes but try and finish within 10 to 20 minutes. The do the basic check ie prepare food, provide a drink help with essential bathing but don't really clean up, leave dirty urine bottles, spilt drinks on floor, dirty bedding and don't spend the time talking to dad when this could be his only visitor on that day. They time steal my dad paid 10.5hrs week and on average do around 8 hours a week. The management response was they get paid for 30 mins no matter how long it takes and ok if only takes 15 mins. Stealing from the most vulnerable in the community. The careers are nice and try their best understaffed and pressured to do more visits than time allows, its not their fault. Make sure you get the service you pay for as my dad overcharged £1000s. Strongly recommend you download the open pass app to monitor!

Great care was taken when checking catheter, bed sores and adjustment to clothing to ensure that the patient was comfortable and not in any discomfort. By asking and verbally reassuring the patient.

The care increased as needed and was delivered with friendly faces, sensitive care, and thorough professionalism throughout. Mum knew that when the time came, she wanted a peaceful passing - and assisted living facility played a big part in making that happen for her.

We are both extremely grateful for the excellent care she received and would highly recommend the service.

All the staff are very dedicated, polite, caring and considerate. I have no hesitation in recommending Professional Carers.

We are in our first weeks of using Professional carers, morning and evening and have nothing but praise for them; often over and above their remit. For example, my husband had a fall, the carer rang for an ambulance and stayed with us until nearly midnight when the ambulance finally arrived. I cannot thank her enough. The management team has been supportive and instils confidence.

Some staff did not know what to do, carers. Other staff were exceptional, good carers.

I have found that my carers are very helpful and good support when needed. When it comes to shower time I am treated with the utmost respect which makes me feel comfortable with the help in showering me.

Very pleased with the care we get from Professional Carers Edinburgh. We would be sorry to leave them.
