Audley Care Nightingale

My husband is a resident and suffers from Parkinson's disease and dementia. He has been very well cared for. Most of the staff are very kind, helpful and efficient. I would like to have named one particular carer who has been quite outstanding but as I am not allowed to mention names in this review, I can't do this.

The care team have been very proactive in supporting my brother, who has a rare form of Parkinsonism. His needs have been closely monitored by the care manager and her team and his care plan adapted as necessary. There is easy and full communication with the care manager and team. For family members and close friends it's a huge relief to know that he is in a safe environment with caring and friendly staff on hand 24/7.

The alternative would have been a nursing home, absolutely soulless not like being in your own home.

I have a carer coming twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening - for 15 minutes both times. This works well for me for the moment. I have Type 2 diabetes and the carers make sure I have tested my blood sugar and taken my medication.

I can't fault anything that was done to help me on that, or the following days. The only thing that might have been additionally helpful would have been the payment of the taxi fare when I arrived back at Audley from the hospital. I wouldn't have had to fumble about for my cards, and this fare could then have been added to my monthly account.

Returning from many years abroad I felt insecure about managing to live on my own with a neuro-degenerative disease. Nightingale Court has provided the perfect combination of independence and peace of mind, both for myself and for my family and friends. This was put to the test my very first weekend when I knocked myself out in a lift; duty staff were on hand within minutes and checked every couple of hours for signs of concussion. The Care Manager keeps an eye on both the physical and the psychological well-being of flat owners. In my case, a brief, late evening visit by a member of the Care Team has been instrumental in helping me adjust and adapt, providing laughter and marking a full stop to the day.

Nightingale Place is such a warm and friendly place to live and so convenient. It is near supermarkets, a post office, a chemist and a flower seller. There are buses and a tube station and there is (even) a wine shop!

My partner has an incomplete spinal injury at C4, a hepatic brain injury, type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea. We live in a retirement village with on-site care. The village care manager has first-class skills in recruiting and training staff. We are very satisfied.

High standard of care continously. Well-managed by supervisors. Very good attitude of carers.

Having previously tried and been let down by three different agencies, I can safely say that Audley Care are fantastic. The team (management and carers alike) are incredibly efficient, diligent and extremely nice. I'm kept informed all the way along and feel fully confident that Mum is in the best hands and that I also am being supported. I'm so grateful and recommend them to everyone.

Very happy with my apartment and the village is friendly and clean. Very good swimming pool.

I am reviewing the supply of apartment cleaning by the care department at Audley Nightingale Lane, Clapham. It is 'bespoke' and very good. It is thoughtful.
