The service my mum and I have received from the Home Instead (Ivybridge) team has been excellent. They have been professional and effective at all times from care to administration. The team show great compassion in everything they do; what is in my mum's best interest is clearly foremost in their minds. It has been a great relief, to me, to know I have their support.

Our family has been delighted with the quality of care given to an elderly relative during the past two years by Home Instead (Ivybridge). As well as highly professional, it has been warm, compassionate, and imaginative; and everything has been managed with a great sense of humour. Apart from helping him with his medication and meals, his carers have arranged trips out for lunch and to the shops, visits to neighbours assisted with reading and writing (he is seriously visually handicapped) and appointments with the doctor. Nothing has been too much trouble: everyone has been willing to go the extra mile. It's hugely reassuring to know that he's in such good hands, particularly since no member of the family lives close by.

Home Instead carers are providing excellent client-centred care to my elderly parents, both of whom have differing needs. The team are flexible, caring, shows initiative, and above all, are always warm and friendly. I cannot thank them enough for the care they provide.

Meet the Team (4)
Martin previously spent over thirty years working in the fields of marketing and advertising where he developed a range of skills that he is putting to good use in managing the Home Instead Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, Plymstock and Plympton office.
He is supported in this role by his wife Anne-Marie who comes from a background in teaching. Together they are passionate about providing outstanding care for their clients and firmly believe that with the right care and support, our senior community can lead fulfilling and happy lives.
Responsible for the smooth running of our friendly office. Having run a group for people experiencing symptoms of dementia, Katie has an excellent understanding of the different types of dementia and how they affect the individual and their friends and family. “I find it easy to talk to people and I love making a difference in people’s lives”
Katie has a passion for helping people feel comfortable and is able to reassure and encourage people to be the very best version of themselves.
Wendy deals with all things recruitment for Home Instead Ivybridge. Wendy is responsible for all new Care Professionals and their journey on board with us.
