Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
Overall good service. My concern is when we have three hours of respite on Tuesday and Thursday. The carers arrive late and ask to leave early for personal reasons. We don't always go out, we sit in our garden. This is our time to chill but when carers are booked 12 to 3 and arrive 12.15 pm and leave
at 2.30-2.40 pm that's not fair on us. They are paid for three hours but only doing two and a half. As I say our time is 12-3, and sometimes we plan things to do but if the carer has to leave, we have to cut short what we are doing. This is not all carers, but just a few!

Starting as a Care and Support Worker; I continued to develop my knowledge and swiftly became a Care Supervisor, Care Co-ordinator, resulting in Registered Care Manager in 2019. I have successfully completed my Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care, for adults. I would say that the path to my care career was not planned, however, it’s certainly one that I would never walk back on. I’ve met some amazing and unforgettable individuals over the years. My ethos is and always will be to ensure top-quality care is being provided, nothing less.


In my spare time, I enjoy exploring/travelling the UK and abroad. I’ve always been known to have my next adventure planned. I have an eye for photography, which I might possibly pursue as a hobby one day. I’m excited to become part of the Goodoaks team and work with everyone involved.
