This agency comes highly recommended - the team at Good Oaks Aylesbury has responded to all our queries immediately and provided a safe and caring home care to my father. The care team have been wonderful and we have got to know them; they really care and want to do whatever they can to assist - I would especially like to mention the certain staff who have a very caring attitude and have been wonderful. All the carers we have had have been lovely and also attentive. The manager leads a great team and the carers are always polite and eager to help with anything they can. We will continue to use Good Oaks and would recommend them to anyone needing care at home.
Thank you so much for your very kind review - it's an absolute pleasure to care for your father and I'm pleased to hear you feel the team are wonderful. I've passed on your feedback to the rest of the team.
Overall good service. My concern is when we have three hours of respite on Tuesday and Thursday. The carers arrive late and ask to leave early for personal reasons. We don't always go out, we sit in our garden. This is our time to chill but when carers are booked 12 to 3 and arrive 12.15 pm and leave at 2.30-2.40 pm that's not fair on us. They are paid for three hours but only doing two and a half. As I say our time is 12-3, and sometimes we plan things to do but if the carer has to leave, we have to cut short what we are doing. This is not all carers, but just a few!
Thank you for taking your time to leave us a review, I'm happy to hear you feel overall the service we have provided has been good. We have looked into the above issues and hopefully this has now been solved. Please do contact us if there are any further issues.

I am very passionate about the quality of care my organisation delivers to each client, and I have made it my goal to deliver only the best experience of care for both clients and their families. Seeing what we can achieve to make a difference in our clients' lives in a very positive way is a hugely rewarding experience and inspires us to continue to do better.
Social care has always been a part of my early years growing up in a family where care is provided to our own grandparents and parents by ourselves, the immediate family.
In addition to my background in the medical and care sector, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. This provides me with a sound background in some of the general aspects of business and commercial operations.
Hello! My name is Carlene and I’ve worked within the Health and Social Care Sector for almost 9 years.
Starting as a Care and Support Worker; I continued to develop my knowledge and swiftly became a Care Supervisor, Care Co-ordinator, resulting in Registered Care Manager in 2019. I have successfully completed my Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care, for adults. I would say that the path to my care career was not planned, however, it’s certainly one that I would never walk back on. I’ve met some amazing and unforgettable individuals over the years. My ethos is and always will be to ensure top-quality care is being provided, nothing less.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring/travelling the UK and abroad. I’ve always been known to have my next adventure planned. I have an eye for photography, which I might possibly pursue as a hobby one day. I’m excited to become part of the Goodoaks team and work with everyone involved.
