Overall Experience

I have recently become a client of Blue Angel and I couldn't be happier. Every carer I have met has been friendly, caring and efficient. Having had a bad experience with my previous care agency I was very anxious about meeting new carers but I needn't have worried. Everyone has made me feel like nothing is too much trouble and they have made me feel the happiest I have felt for years. The kindest girls ever. Thank you Blue Angel.

Overall Experience

The manager and the other ladies are incredibly helpful and supportive. The manager travelled to Andover to meet my Nan which was very humbling for us as it was nice to put a face to the name and it helped put my Nan at ease ahead of the impending move. She was thorough and understanding and answered our many questions. She also gave me helpful tips and advice for areas that could not be supported such as administering Nan’s medication. When Nan moved, she visited again to do the assessment in her new home and Nan wasn’t in the best of moods as she ‘didn’t know she was coming’ and was quite rude! But she took it all in her stride and managed to win my Nan round! She also did my Nan’s first visit which was a shower and she was very patient and understanding with her. Any queries and changes to the care plan are handled quickly by the manager or her deputy (even out of hours!). The manager and her staff are professional and clearly passionate about their work.

A professional quality of care with a friendly team. We believe it is a new branch that is still finding its feet. Good to see a hands-on office team who are approachable and understand individual needs.

The only issue is an itinerary of who is attending during the week.

Always friendly and caring. Willing to help with any household job, usually do things without being asked or before you have a chance to ask. When helping with personal care never feel rushed or embarrassed. Will always go at my speed. Excellent people.

The ladies are really polite but firm. They encourage and discuss what is needed, rather than bully as prior agencies have. My partner is cared for and has responded and is more engaged than he has been for several years.

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am the Registered Manager of Blue Angel Care Farnborough, Farnham & Fleet.

My journey in care started at home, looking after my grandparents and ensuring they received the support that was vital to keeping them safe and at home. In 2018, I worked as an HCA in the hospital, and I soon found out that this wasn't the place for me. I truly believe that most people want to be looked after in the comfort of their own homes, and this led me to my journey at Blue Angel Care.

Being able to deliver a high standard of care to people in their homes is one feeling I can't describe. Shortly after starting as a caregiver, I was promoted to care specialist. I take pride and importance in my job role and am dedicated to ensuring our customers and staff are happy and well looked after. I do everything possible to really understand the needs of both clients and staff and ensure these needs are met. I take great joy in being a part of such a well-led team.

Laura Job Title: Care Coordinator Joined: 2024
Laura

Hi, my name is Laura. I joined Blue Angel Care in September 2024 following the loss of my grandmother in June 2024. Returning to a career in care after some time away felt like the right decision and helped me rediscover my sense of purpose. I have over 19 years of experience working across a wide range of care settings and have developed a compassionate, person-centred approach to supporting individuals with dignity, independence, and wellbeing. I am passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives and take great pride in the care I provide.

In November, I was promoted to Senior Caregiver, and in December, I progressed into the role of Care Coordinator. I am really enjoying my new role, learning something new every day, and staying busy, which I love. Working at Blue Angel Care has made me feel extremely welcome, and I have grown a genuine affection for the clients we support.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I take my daughter to her gymnastics, and we love getting outdoors together and taking our dog, Ralph, for walks. We also attend church every Sunday, which is an important part of our family life. Family means everything to me, and I truly value the time we spend together.

Hi! I am a Care Specialist at Blue Angel Care.

Zoe Job Title: Care Specialist Joined: 2026
Zoe

My name is Zoe, and I joined Blue Angel Care in January 2026 as a Care Specialist. I chose a career in care because I strongly believe that everybody deserves the care and support they want, delivered with dignity and compassion. I feel my caring and nurturing nature is a great asset to the team.

I have a background in childcare, where I worked for 19 years. Transitioning from childcare into care felt like a natural progression, as I have always been passionate about providing compassionate, person-centred support. I also cared for my mum during her terminal illness in 2012, an experience that deeply influenced my decision to support others in a caring role.

Since starting at Blue Angel Care, my confidence has grown, and I continue to learn more every day about caring—something I am thoroughly enjoying.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my daughter, whether that’s going on days out or being creative at home. We also enjoy visiting close family and spending quality time together.

Tia Folkes Job Title: Recruitment and Training Officer Joined: 2026

My role is to onboard and support our caregivers with relevant training throughout their careers within the company. I take pride in my work and am satisfied in knowing our clients are well cared for.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors and taking long walks with our 2 dogs.

Sarah Job Title: Senior Care Giver Joined: 2022
Sarah

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’ve been a caregiver at Blue Angel for almost 2 years. Over the last year, I have progressed to a senior caregiver. I absolutely love my job. I thoroughly enjoy all the time I spend with our clients during visits and reviews, and I enjoy helping new carers with their field-based training. Every day is different and very fulfilling; it’s a joy to help people in any way that I can. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends, and I also enjoy watching a good thriller or comedy.

Caroline Job Title: Senior Care Giver Joined: 2021
Caroline

My name is Caroline. I’ve worked in domiciliary care for over 10+ years. I came into care purely by chance from a recommendation from a past work colleague.

My working background is in child care, and still is, I work 2 days as a Pre-school Practitioner and 3-4 days as a senior caregiver. I started working for Blue Angel Care in February 2021 as a care giver, I was offered the position of senior care giver, and firstly I refused as I liked being out in the field with the clients and I didn’t want anything to get in the way of that, but when I was asked again I accepted, and I haven’t looked back.

I feel I have become more confident in my job role, learning more about care plans, reviews, etc and getting around on the computer (not my strongest asset); when I see the clients, they’re always pleased to see me, and I give them 100%+ as each and every one deserves the best and that’s what we strive to do. Whatever role I’m doing, I know that if I need it, I can get help and support, no question is a silly question, I feel I’m heard and taken notice of.

In my spare time, I care for my partner, and we have our son, who’s in his late teens, living at home. I do a lot of creating activities for Pre-school, and if possible, baking, for which the office staff are often very grateful when they see me bringing them in.
