A carer from Kwikfix Recruitment Services became my wife's 24-hour live-in carer.
Her service, kindness, empathy and hard work, in understanding my wife's needs is exemplary and hugely reassuring.
We are glad that we are of service. Thank you for your kind words.
Overall, the care my husband receives is very good.
I felt humiliated by her attitude as she treated me like a child, I am disabled, not senile! At least her language skills were an improvement over other carers. With a little bit of training, she could be a good carer.
Carers are usually late, or very late. Some are good, some not. All would benefit from further training. My husband, a stroke survivor, has trouble understanding some of them because of a lack of English speakers. Overall, most are pleasant and doing their best. I think some supervision would be useful as new carers seem to be thrown in the deep end far too soon. Most, but not all, are kind and courteous.
Thank you Linda for your feedback. We shall take this onboard and continue to improve ourselves and learn lessons. Wishing you a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2023.
Service very well received. Thank you.
Thank you for your review. Never hesitate to get in touch with us at any moment.
Your carers should be given a medal for the work they do - they are fantastic.
On the first day started caring for our Mother, was supposed to meet us at 8am, but didn't turn up until after 9am and Mother had wandered for a walk. (I ended up giving breakfast and a cup of tea etc). We did say we need the earlier visit. This evening was supposed to be meeting them at 6pm. Must have come earlier - Mother in tears and scared. Once again another male when we wanted a Female. Shocking and for the first day when she needed to be settled into the care which she wasn't going to be used to obviously no empathy or professionalism. Well, your company has lasted 1 day with us. Your leadership team may need to reflect on what they are being communicated about the patient and why certain things are important especially when I have taken the day off work to meet you at certain times.
Andy S, I am particularly sorry that this matter was not brought to my attention as a leader of the company immediately. I know the 1st day sometimes has a myriad of problems and we have surely done a topsy-turvy on your view of us but I hope my team, that works hard, a lot will learn from your...
Not all carers fulfilling their caring duties. Lack of communication from the service provider/carer to the service user and their family. Personal care was a bit lapse. Shocking to say the least. Wouldn't recommend this company to look after a dog while on holiday let alone a vulnerable person.
Have sent my concerns to the manager, however, the response I got was not satisfactory in resolving the issue/concerns I had raised.
We appreciate the feedback given and we shall indeed look at issues raised but I would say that we are engaging and we are always listening and that is ongoing and as much as I don't agree with certain aspects of this review, I know we have the heart of care and will keep improving so that it comes across if it doesn't currently show.
I can't go out anyway because they are always late and can't afford to miss any my 4x day care, I feel stuck in my home and can't do the exercise I need in the morning to get better due to them being late getting me out of bed. As I have got rails I can't get down.

I grew up in a community where community spirit and care values run deep, and I was inspired to become a leader who transforms care standards and inspires others to follow. It's a chance to lead with a heart, vision and purpose- a service that believes in delivering care the way people want it- with respect, safety, understanding and compassion at every step.
I have a master's degree in Environmental Resource Management with a bias towards renewable energies. My bachelor's degree is in Chemistry. I have been an entrepreneur since 2002 and have worked to create opportunities for others. I am committed to making a positive difference to people in any way I can.
I have always enjoyed being involved in the community, from volunteering in raising money for charities to tackling environmental issues like fly-tipping to waste disposal, to turning waste into energy. At the moment, we are working on how we can use food innovation to enhance well-being for our service users.
