I find that the communication with the care team is efficient and friendly which is especially important to me as I live abroad.

The carer is always very friendly and helpful and has a pleasant manner. She seems to be always willing to do any tasks - whether personal care or cleaning.

Care has been provided for more than a year. The carers have all been friendly, punctual and willing helpers. I have and still am, very grateful for their assistance.

Helping Hands Home Care team have been supporting my mum since August last year due to her advancing dementia and I have been very pleased with the service provided. The team reacted positively to a change in her care plan when we realised that 3 days a week was insufficient. Communication between the service provider and myself was very important to me and in this respect Helping Hands were first class. Overall a very positive experience resulting in a happy customer!

My dad has Dementia and Helping Hands have been supporting him to remain living in his flat. With recent progression of his illness, Helping Hands have been extremely professional and efficient in dealing with our request to increase his care to ensure continuity. The care workers are all very experienced and friendly and have built a good rapport with my dad who likes having familiar faces. Most importantly, my Dad continues to be able to make choices about his routine and feels in control of his day to day life. As a family we are extremely happy with the care provided to my dad.

Our Mum has been having care visits from the Helping Hands Home Care team since July this year and she is very pleased with the service that is provided. When we felt that Mum would benefit from additional visits these were arranged swiftly and she has continued to have the increased number of visits. We are all aware of the difficulties that the care sector face and despite this the team have not failed to visit when scheduled. This has sometimes meant that the manager or care coordinator have stepped in to cover the visit so that Mum is not let down.

The Helping Hands Staff are always ready to go the extra mile, they are in regular touch with me regarding medication and also my Mothers needs such as food and personal items that need replacing. I am able to concentrate on my day to day life confident in the fact that Mums carers will let me know what is needed and when.

I cannot speak highly enough of the manager and her team. They have supported my mother through the challenge of Covid and have been caring, responsive, flexible and reliable throughout. As a manager, she is outstanding and her dedication and commitment to her role is exemplary. I have no hesitation in recommending Helping Hands and commend the hugely important care work that these amazing people undertake on behalf of society.

The service has also been very flexible and would have no hesitation in recommending.
