I can't thank the manager and her team for stepping in so quickly and efficiently when my mother-in-law had a nasty fall over Christmas and needed extra care. Everyone I've met from Acacia has been so kind, patient and professional with my mother-in-law (and me!).
Mum-in-law has two calls per day,
assisting with her morning routine, personal care and making her a light meal at teatime. The lovely ladies always put her needs and wishes first, asking what she would like for breakfast, what she would like to wear that day, if she needed anything to be done.
Most importantly for us as a family is that we know she is receiving the very best care and know that we can reach out to the managers if we need any guidance or advice regarding her health or ongoing care.

My family were very fortunate to find Acacia Homecare for my elderly father. We had become acquainted with the diligent carer from this agency who supports my parents' neighbour. When it was time to seriously consider care for my father, I contacted the Agency Director to make an enquiry. She responded
so promptly and was very efficient in her communication. I was taken by her kind and personable manner.
The assessment for my father was arranged timely, entailing a visit from director and her care manager. The form to complete was extremely thorough and cohesive in its questions. At the visit, both Vicky and Nelly had a familial nature and were very respectful, kind and patient with both of my parents. I was impressed by their holistic approach and focus on rehabilitation for my father. Both of them are very professional and kept me in the picture. They are a 'care company who genuinely cares', values their customers and is part of their family.

We would happily recommend Acacia Care to anyone looking for care for their loved ones. They have been caring for Mum since June 2024 (6 months). We had a few teething problems with Mum struggling to get used to a carer, but the manager and her team were very calm and patient and understanding and we
have worked together to find suitable solutions for Mum. Mum now looks forward to her visits from the carers. Communication from the team is really good and they are very responsive.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Acacia Homecare. They have cared for Mum for 5 months and supported our Dad. We selected Acacia Homecare because they responded fast, were flexible with Dad's desire to be part of the care and supported the family during the emotional rollercoaster as Mum gradually deteriorated.
The team provided Mum with care three times a day, 7 days a week, with two carers.
The team are skilled experts in personal care and managed the range of emotions we experienced during our journey. They made it possible for Mum to be respected and heard despite the scale of the personal interventions. They are practical and patient, with good communication suggesting options to improve Mum's life. They are reliable - their communication was prompt and effective.
This has been a very difficult time for the family and Acacia Homecare has been a consistent force for good through that time. We are thankful for their love and attention.

Acacia Care has just completed its first week providing 1 hour a day of morning personal care for my elderly mother.
They arrive on pre-agreed time and the 2 ladies who alternate days have both been good with the care they are providing respectful, kind, and friendly in the house and ensure my mother's
needs are attended to whilst they are here.
This also allows me to go out for a walk for an hour as a break from my role as a live-in carer.
I would definitely recommend Acacia Care.

Original meeting with Acacia to discuss husband's needs. Very professional, friendly and informative, we both felt at ease and could see lots of notes being taken to ensure they had full knowledge of our situation/care needed.
New carer brought to the home with the manager to introduce her to us both.
The carer was very kind, considerate and quickly made friends with my husband. Very unusual for a first meeting.

Acacia provides twice daily care to my elderly mother who has dementia. The staff are all so kind and compassionate to mum and work tirelessly to meet her needs. They arrived at times booked, which was important to mum and they stayed for the duration of the call, giving mum the time and care she needs.
We have used other care companies, but Acacia is brilliant, can't recommend them enough.

Acacia Homecare have provided exceptional service, caring for my dear mum at home until she passed away in Feb 2024 and immediately stepping in to look after my father, who is what you might call a ‘reluctant client’ (I’m happy to say that he is now a convert to having some support in the home and he
looks forward to each visit).
The team behind the scenes in the office are always there for you should you need them - their reaction to any request - large or small - is always immediate and professional, but there is enormous empathy there and you are always treated in a friendly way.
Having used other care companies in the area over the past 5 years, Acacia really are offering the gold standard in ‘at home care’ and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We have been using Acacia Homecare for live-in Dementia care for my father, for around 18 months. I’ve taken comfort over this period in the knowledge that if something needs doing, Acacia staff and management are on hand, capable and very happy to step in and make things happen.
One staff member has
been my father's live-in carer for nearly a year now, she has the patience of a saint, is extremely organised, caring and very friendly and great for Dad.
Another carer has been coming to see Dad over lunch periods and they have had some great chats.
I thank everyone at Acacia for all their hard work, we would be lost without them.

My carer has been helping me for over two years. She is an integral part of my life. I look forward to her coming to help me get up and to give me breakfast. She is totally competent and efficient. She is completely reliable, always getting here on time, and letting me know if she is held up in traffic.
She is very perceptive and manages always to make me laugh! She has a marvellous sense of humour! I see her more as a friend now!

Received an excellent care service for my father whilst my wife and I were away on holiday. From the planning to the implementation of care, the service was excellent! Nothing was too much for the care team.
Kept me informed and engaged positively with all members of the family.
Worked with integrity.
When it was clear that there were enough family members in the home, the director and the team planned accordingly to ensure that we were not charged for services that were not needed even though they were within the initial care plan. Very refreshing to see such honesty and integrity.
Really, really impressed and would recommend Acacia Homecare Berkshire anytime.

My father was very hesitant about having a carer. Acacia, from the beginning, made him feel at ease with the initial assessment.

I am very happy to recommend Acacia. Following a head injury my mother received from a traffic accident in February, Mum has returned home from hospital where she lives alone. We were recommended to Acacia for a carer to provide Mum with a little help with tasks such as walking to the local supermarket
and cooking and at the same time to provide some companionship for her.
My mother was very apprehensive about having a carer but was very positive after only the first visit. Mum is now greatly looking forward to her next visit. Mum feels very comfortable with her carer which is hugely important to us.
Also very important to us is the capability of the management team which I have found to be exceptional. I do believe they genuinely care and are extremely professional.

We use Acacia on a daily basis and have always been extremely happy with the service they provide especially from Mum's regular carer who is excellent and so caring. After Mum's recent stay in hospital, we contacted Acacia to ask for live-in care for a short period. They were very helpful in organising
this at short notice and the two live-in carers they provided were very supportive and caring towards Mum and aided her recovery well.

My great-auntie has always been a very independent woman and would always dismiss wearing a wrist alarm or accepting that some help at home would be beneficial to her. Unfortunately, she had a fall in July 2021 and was admitted to hospital. She was discharged a week later with an emergency care at home
package for two weeks and finally admitted that a wrist alarm and some care at home was needed.
So the search began and I found Acacia Homecare. One of the owners came out to meet us to do an assessment and they have been providing daily care for an hour in the morning ever since. We have an excellent working relationship, all the team keep me up-to-date with any changes to rotas or concerns they have for my great-auntie via email or telephone (if it is more of an emergency) and there are regular six-month telephone care reviews to check that the service being provided is still relevant. My great-auntie has minimal needs but really values her visits and the help provided.
I would highly recommend Acacia Homecare!
