Health and Alliance Home Care was founded by a family with a vision and intention to create a care company with a difference, one that always puts the service user at the heart of what they do... a company that goes above and beyond all expectations... services don’t stop at care, they offer home maintenance for the elderly... gardening, cleaning, odd jobs and general repairs... the team can fix the niggly things that never seem to get done, in addition they can provide a regular housekeeping service.

It began as a vision for the two Directors, through years of working in the social care sector for different companies experienced frustrations within their role that were out of their control... little things like not being able to spend time in call to chat and provide quality companionship to service users, due to the demand of the calls their were rushing to and from. Difficulties of the pressure to complete the calls within the unrealistic required time frames, they turned this frustration into their personal mission to set up Health and Alliance Home Care and ensure that the core of their business is the quality of the actual care provided to the service users, simultaneously relieving pressure from family.

Recruitment is a thorough and lengthy process, through which the highest calibre of Care Givers are employed, trained and competent to deliver the ethos of the families legacy through conscientious staff who are to be consistently monitored in their delivery of quality care within the local communities.

It’s important to each member of the team to treat service users as they would treat their own elderly family members.

Empowerment of such a team within the diverse and inclusive environment is a strong passion of the Directors and the management team they have behind them!

My experience of Health and Alliance has been overwhelmingly positive. Although there have been quite a lot of new carers over the last 12 months all have been caring and helpful. Most importantly my mum has felt comfortable with them and they are always willing to provide help whenever needed. Coupled
with the responsive and efficient Office Team who are always willing to adapt the care plan as required, I would recommend.

The experience we had in using Health and Alliance far exceeded our expectations as a family and I cannot thank the team enough!
We chose Health and Alliance following recommendations and from research, as an alternative to residential respite care for the first time to allow us a family holiday. Everything
we discussed was implemented without issue, my mom's needs were completely taken care of, and the team were so friendly and caring they cannot be faulted. As a carer, I felt completely reassured and have made further bookings for ad hoc care as a result.
Thank you for the support you've given us, for being so kind and caring, and for taking some of the stresses away that caring for a loved one can bring!

They are punctual and will stay over their time if necessary.

The carers that come to Mum are always very supportive, caring and professional in their manner and have built up a real rapport with Mum. Mum feels comfortable and secure in their visits as do I which are regular and timely. It's reassuring to know the carers are reliable and always alert me to any
changes they may notice in Mum which enables us to get on top of things at an early stage.

My wife has been cared for by Health and Alliance Health Care for over 12 months now. We are extremely grateful to have found this company. The whole team from the office to the carers are so professional. My wife was taken ill and had a sudden heart attack at home, the one thing none of us ever expected.
I rang for an ambulance just as the girls on their routine call arrived. The professionalism from the girls was far above what I could ever expect. When the ambulance crew arrived the girls stepped back and made me a cup of tea. They knew my wife was in great hands and yet they took the time to care for me. Unbelievable.
They even helped when the ambulance had left and packed my wife's overnight bag - amazing. It seemed as though the whole company gelled, from the girls on-site to the management ringing to ask how I was. I am so glad that this company is caring for my wife. If you need a company to care for your loved ones then I would highly recommend these guys. Thank you.

A good provider of home care, all the basics covered. Nice, friendly, caring staff who get to know their clients. Great that the same carers are attending. Able to handle situations when a doctor or ambulance is required. Easy to communicate with caring and office staff.

We received palliative care from Health and Alliance for just under 4 weeks, until my husband passed away. The care was arranged at short notice and started on a Saturday evening. Both my husband and I were very nervous about having carers come into our house.
I had always managed to care for my husband
over the last 8 years, but, due to a deterioration in his health, I was unable to continue at the same level.
Every member of staff, we had contact with was amazing and supportive. Initially, my husband felt he did not need any particular care, but the staff were happy to talk to us and allay any of our fears/worries. It gave them a chance to understand how we coped with things, and in return, it gave us a chance to get to know them. When my husband's illness started to progress quite quickly, they understood what care he needed and assisted in making him as comfortable as possible. He tried to remain as independent as possible. But it was lovely that we had support.

I want to thank the whole team for the speed at which care for my dad was mobilised and for the ongoing care and support over the last 6 weeks or so. My dad is 87 and Mom 86 and whilst relatively independent Dad had a fall and fractured his shoulder. I live over 250 miles away and he was in A&E overnight
and discharged with his arm in a sling and no care plan in place!
I found Health & Alliance Home Care online and from the moment I contacted them to explain the situation they were helpful, friendly, and fully understanding of our situation. Care was mobilised very quickly (the family did the first few days) and he now has a small team of people who he and Mom have got to know well and who attend morning and evening to assist with his personal care (and indeed anything else that needs doing including chatting with Mom!). The care has allowed my parents to retain their independence in their own home and has provided the family with much-needed reassurance at a difficult time. Thank you!
