We would also like to say thank you for giving us your five star rating but we're sorry you've found that sometimes carers have recently come at different times (or we've had to make special arrangements). Please be aware that sometimes we do have to send different carers to attend care visits due to holidays or sickness, however, we do our very best to ensure continuity of care for all of our service users; please be assured that your comments have been passed on to the service manager who will check into them to ensure we continue to provide the very best care that we can. We are so sorry to hear that you have been unable to check who will be coming, when your regular care workers were off, because you couldn't get through to the office when you tried to call and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your feedback which is much appreciated. I am pleased that you are happy with the carers that visit you through out the week , Unfortunately at times of staff absences or Annual Leave a different carer is allocated at short notice to ensure that our duty of care is fulfilled. We are currently recruiting carers so it is expected that all weekend visits will be permanently covered and schedules will then reflect a more settled service for all. Read less

Thank you for your comments. I am pleased you find the carers kind. Unfortunately, if sickness prevents us from sending a regular carer we have to send another to ensure care needs are met. The carers have full access to each personal care plan so you should not need instruct them and I am sorry you have had to do this. Regarding charging, we only charge the local authority what we deliver in-line with our policies and procedures. We are sorry that at times you feel 'insufficient attention is given to administering meals' but understand that meals are sometimes left to defrost in the fridge, to ensure they are ready for preparation at meal times and that this can sometimes appear as though they are just being left in the fridge on a regular basis.
