Afshan came to our aid and my fathers in so many wonderful ways. Personally, living out of country and introducing Afshan and her team into my dad's care, made his kids worry that little less. They provided personal care, companionship, trips to the Doctors/pharmacy or shopping missions, making my dads life easier in his later yrs. My father was very well looked after in his home and his care team were such a gift.
Plz do not hesitate to bring Walfinch team into your loved ones home to care for your elders.
My parents are delighted with the service provided by Walfinch. They were a little nervous at the start, however, they have formed very strong bonds and trust with the careres who come in each day. We are all very happy with the service and care provided.
Thank you so much Nigel accepting support is hard is always hard at first but once the bond is created its so much more easier
I recently had an outstanding experience with them. They provided exceptional care for my mother while my family and I were overseas. From the initial consultation to the daily support, their team was professional, compassionate, and attentive to my mother's needs.
Thank you for your kind words. It's been a pleasure caring for your family member.
Everyone from the Walfinch carers are always polite with me. They take me to do the shopping each Friday morning and are helpful with me. Also, they see I take my medication tablet. When the girls come in the mornings they are on time and in the afternoons.
Thank you. We aim to please everyone and always try our best to ensure everyone is looked after.
Thank you and God bless you all!
Thank you for your kind words. This will be passed on to our care staff. We also endeavour to do our best for everyone. Thank you for appreciating our staff and their work.
The care was efficiently arranged at short notice and consisted of two weeks of overnight care followed by three weeks of 24-hour care. The condition of the lady being cared for improved significantly between the time of booking the 24-hour carer and her arrival. However, the carer was still very helpful with showering assistance, washing clothes and bedsheets, washing pots, some cleaning, food preparation and hanging up washing to dry.
Thank you so much for your review. We truly appreciate it!
A very efficient and caring provider. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. We have used their services to look after my husband who suffers from dementia with Lewy Body during a period where I needed some respite care myself.
Thank you for your review. We truly appreciate it.
I am very happy with the care that my mum receives. She’s a very independent woman who does not like having help but her Alzheimer’s necessitates it. Her carers are understanding and patient and cook her her favourite food (curry) which she loves. They encourage her to go out even if only to the shops and keep me well informed of what is going on. My only frustration is when I am not kept informed of carers leaving or not present as consistency is so important for someone with dementia. But everyone is very responsive if I have any questions. I am generally very happy with my experience and have recommended them to others.
Thank you for your review. We are glad to know that you are happy with our service. We have taken your feedback regarding a change of carers for your mother and we have plans to ensure consistency of carers maintained. Our care manager will update you on any changes immediately on a regular basis. If you wish to discuss this in person please contact us directly. Thank you.
My father is my mother's main care provider, so when he had to go into hospital unexpectedly, I had to find care for my mother at the very last minute. I tried so many companies, many recommended to me by family and friends, but none could assist and, in fact, most said that they would not be able to help at all for weeks or months. However, when I phoned Walfinch, I was immediately told that they would do their very best to find a carer of quality who could step into the breach. Within a few hours, a senior representative of Walfinch had come to the house to visit my mother and assess her needs. The Walfinch representative put my mother at ease, told us that she had found a carer and explained why that carer was appropriate. Furthermore, Walfinch ensured that the care provided over the required period was excellent, regularly checking in with me, my mother and my father. I highly recommend this wonderful company.
Thank you for your kind words and recommendations.
Lots of other providers were unable to help but they were quick to step in and provide the cover I needed daytime, 7 days a week. Their carers are thoughtful, experienced and proactive in working out activities for the day, and clearly care! Their management have also given me options for future care that may be needed as a next stage and have just been great at responding to my needs for extended support a short notice with an uncertain position. Definitely recommend and really helped at a stressful time!
Thank you Peter for your kind words. Our team is always ready to assist our clients with quality care they require.
Mum genuinely liked her carers and appreciated their kindness and their expertise. It made a tremendous difference to her day to day life because she was able to laugh, smile and have fun during the daily routine of personal care. She was treated with respect and dignity at all times.
We received full support from Christies. I would certainly recommend them to other families.
Following an unexpected loss of mobility, I required immediate in-home help and support. I was able to arrange a flexible plan with Christies Care that suited my needs including overnight care. Most amazingly, care was in place in a matter of hours. Three carers helped me over about 6 weeks, and each was skilled, personable and genuinely caring. Thank you for helping me regain my independence one day at a time.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We always try to do our best to support our clients.
Really nice carer who is very considerate, gentle and extremely delicate; I trust her completely. I also have nice conversations with her and she is warm and interesting. Good communication with the management and I would recommend to anyone needing care.
Thank you so much for taking time to write review and for your appreciation and recommendation.
Very professional manager we think. Very safety/safeguarding aware we think. Lovely carer we think. Very empathetic company we think. Very empathetic carer we think. Not really got much more to say than this.
Thank you so much for your kind words and trust in continuing to use our services. We continue making our services better and safer for our clients.
Christies Care found a lovely lady for my mum to look after her in the night. The whole experience and process was handled efficiently and professionally and we shall use this care service again and extend a recommendation to all - you will not be disappointed.
Thank you so much for your kind words and recommendation!
