Hourly rates include the CareGiver attending to carry out tasks such as morning and evening routines, personal care, medication management, meal preparation, companionship or visits to social clubs, places of interest, GP and hospital appointments. The costs also include the office team liaising with specialists, district nurses, occupational therapists, pharmacies etc to ensure the Client is receiving the best care imaginable.
Live-in care rates will be dependant on the level of care requested and whether a specific condition informs the care requirements. It is useful to note that live-in carers can only work for a set number of hours each day, with a regular break, which can be provided by the client or by Kingsway Care. It is also necessary to consider whether the nighttime is 'rest time' or whether the live-in care will need to be available. Please call us to discuss in detail and a price can be provided.
These prices are only a guideline, please contact Kingsway Care (Brighton, Hove & Worthing) to find out the exact price for your requirements.

I started the company to be the best home care provider in Sussex and the best employer too. Our Clients come first and we provide outstanding care at home services with imagination and joy. My team is handpicked, well-paid, supported and trained. I actively encourage my employees to enjoy their jobs and create quality time and fun experiences with Kingsway Care Clients as well as outstanding care.
Before Kingsway Care, I worked in software sales but always took on voluntary work to balance my core desire to help people. I have been a volunteer Special Constable and was my Great Aunt Lily’s primary carer during the last years of her life. Now, I choose to do daily care visits because I find it so rewarding. I don’t want to have a management team stuck in the office so encourage every team member to do care visits too.
Olly lives in Hove and socially is known as the instigator of fun. He is always planning day trips, evenings out, holidays, little treats – anything to make life more enjoyable for friends and family. And now Kingsway Care Clients and CareGivers can experience the same treatment.
My name is Vicky, and I’m the Managing Director overseeing all areas of the business to ensure efficiency and outstanding care.
I am responsible for recruiting the right people for our team and creating the right working environment so that we retain them. This is key to our ability to provide consistently high quality care.
All Clients and team members receive a high level of consideration, appreciation, and respect. Our Client Coordinators work closely with clients and their families to ensure that all care provided is uniquely designed for each individual. I also love to complete care visits, which allows me to remain in touch with Kingsway Care Clients and CareGivers.
Vicky likes to keep fit, play badminton, run, and paddle boarding with her teenage children.
My name is Lisa and as the Registered Manager, I prepare the block scheduling for the Care team every week. I ensure our rotas are efficient and allow enough quality time with each Client. I also introduce new clients to their primary CareGiver to make sure the Client is happy to comfortable to have carers in their home. Lastly, I love to share my skills by developing training courses for the Kingsway Care Academy.
Before Kingsway Care, I worked in a hospice for several years learning how much can be done to help make the last moments special for both the patient and family during an emotional time. I then went on to work in a Dementia Nursing Home and learned how to communicate with people living with dementia.
My name is Laura and as one of the Client Coordinators at Kingsway Care, I work to ensure our service commitments are met and manage the wellbeing of our clients. I liaise with clients and their families, engaging with GP's, and make referrals to clinical teams, as necessary. I also write and update care plans and carry out quality assurance reviews.
Originally from Oxford, I moved to Brighton in 2012. I worked in the Criminal Justice Service for nearly 12 years before deciding to move into care work. I enjoy working in care because I am passionate about people and making their lives easier wherever I can.
In my spare time, I like to read, go to the beach, and spend time with my son.
My name is Kerry and I am one of the Client Coordinators.
As a semi-retired ex-headteacher, I was keen to develop my expertise and life experience in a new career. I was very fortunate to be given a management role within Kingsway Care and I have never looked back!
I feel extremely honoured and privileged to work with, and learn from, our truly amazing Clients and CareGiver teams.
I am also a CareGiver and really value going out into the community to visit Clients, their families, and friends. You can really get to know individuals and make such a difference in their desire for independent living.
I am conscious that people will “remember how you made them feel, not necessarily what you said.” To be with a client laughing and joking is job satisfaction in itself.
The safeguarding and well-being of our clients are paramount and we strive to give outstanding care at every visit.
Outside of work, I have been happily married for nearly thirty years and am a proud mum of three children and a rescue dog. My hobbies include baking which I am only too happy to share with the team and Clients. I also love reading and visiting National Trust properties. I am very fortunate to now work part-time and truly feel I am loving living again both in and out of my role!
Kerry lives in Hangleton and enjoys eating out with friends.
My name is Wayne and I used to work in a residential home for adults with disabilities. For the last fifteen years, I’ve worked as a builder, handyman and gardener. I can fix most things or recommend home improvements to make your life easier. Contact us to get those little jobs done and dusted.
My name is Jacqueline. As Head of Marketing, I have developed the Kingsway Care brand and ensured our communications are consistent and engaging across all customer touchpoints. From the website to advertising, printed brochures and flyers, social media and e-newsletters. I’m also really enjoying writing our CareGivers’ and Clients’ stories and understanding how great care can make such a positive difference in someone’s life.
Before joining Kingsway Care, I worked for many years in the advertising industry in both London and Dubai but frequently visited Brighton & Hove to enjoy what I call ‘Olly Stock Events!’
Jacqueline lives and works remotely in Sintra, Portugal, and loves arts & crafts and visiting the team in Brighton & Hove.
My name is Katy and as Disability Champion, I make sure we are Disability Positive in everything we do. I am also responsible for developing Kingsway Care activities to encourage young adults with disabilities to get out and socialise more.
