Before Kingsway Care, I worked in software sales but always took on voluntary work to balance my core desire to help people. I have been a volunteer Special Constable and was my Great Aunt Lily’s primary carer during the last years of her life. Now, I choose to do daily care visits because I find it so rewarding. I don’t want to have a management team stuck in the office so encourage every team member to do care visits too.

My name is Vicky, and I’m the Managing Director overseeing all areas of the business to ensure efficiency and outstanding care.

I am responsible for recruiting the right people for our team and creating the right working environment so that we retain them. This is key to our ability to provide consistently high quality care.

All Clients and team members receive a high level of consideration, appreciation, and respect. Our Client Coordinators work closely with clients and their families to ensure that all care provided is uniquely designed for each individual. My name is Lisa and as the Registered Manager, I prepare the block scheduling for the Care team every week. I ensure our rotas are efficient and allow enough quality time with each Client. I also introduce new clients to their primary CareGiver to make sure the Client is happy to comfortable to have carers in their home. Lastly, I love to share my skills by developing training courses for the Kingsway Care Academy.

Before Kingsway Care, I worked in a hospice for several years learning how much can be done to help make the last moments special for both the patient and family during an emotional time. My name is Laura and as one of the Client Coordinators at Kingsway Care, I work to ensure our service commitments are met and manage the wellbeing of our clients. I liaise with clients and their families, engaging with GP's, and make referrals to clinical teams, as necessary. I also write and update care plans and carry out quality assurance reviews.

Originally from Oxford, I moved to Brighton in 2012. I worked in the Criminal Justice Service for nearly 12 years before deciding to move into care work. I enjoy working in care because I am passionate about people and making their lives easier wherever I can.

Kellie is a Field Care Supervisor providing support, guidance and encouragement to CareGivers during homecare visits. She shadows new CareGivers and conducts spot checks to ensure our care remains consistently high. She is an invaluable asset to the team, spotting improvements and recommending additional training if necessary.

Kellie provides the refresher training for personal care and moving and handling techniques. Out in the field, she is a friendly face and a listening ear, and our caregivers feel comfortable talking to her about any concerns they have. Read less
