Live-in care rates will be dependant on the level of care requested and whether a specific condition informs the care requirements. It is useful to note that live-in carers can only work for a set number of hours each day, with a regular break, which can be provided by the client or by Kingsway Care. It is also necessary to consider whether the nighttime is 'rest time' or whether the live-in care will need to be available. Please call us to discuss in detail and a price can be provided.

The carer is a really kind person and she worked really hard when she stayed with me as my live-in carer. She showed lots of initiative and just saw what needed to be done without me having to ask. She is a good cook and made a delicious bolognese and she was a lot of fun - she can do the splits! Very impressive! It was good to have her as a respite carer and I would be happy to have her return.
Thank you so much for your kind review Elizabeth. Our carer really enjoyed living with you for a week, is thrilled with your comments and we look forward to supporting you again if ever needed. Thank you for choosing Kingsway Care.
I am the wife and housemate/carer of a service user, who is a very satisfied daily client of Kingsway Care. I want to give my personal reasons for recommending Kingsway. There are three groups of reasons: firstly, the immense improvements brought to my husband's ability to cope with the practical problems of living with his considerable disability; secondly, the great benefits to me of seeing him thereby happier and positive; thirdly, the spin-off reduction in my own load - the enthusiastic willingness of Kingsway carers to fill in gaps in my husband's contracted half-hours by doing domestic tasks (hoovering, dusting, lightbulb replacement, bits of gardening etc) that I either physically cannot do or which take more energy than I am these days able to command, all add up to my very strong recommendation of Kingsway Care.
Thank you very much for your kind words; they really mean a lot to the entire team. We are grateful to have you as clients and are very pleased to be of service. Thank you Elettra.
I am very impressed with Kingsway Care, other agencies do not care enough about clients and this agency go above and beyond to help individuals out and always put us first. Also very impressed they managed to provide myself care last minute on Easter Sunday when no other companies would help me out. I experienced struggles with another agency and my father. Kingsway care stepped in to provide help again. Thank you for everything. Has restored my faith in there being amazing care agencies in the community, 5 stars.
Thank you very much, Katy. We are thrilled that you are pleased with Kingsway Care and your review means a huge amount to us. Our team really enjoy their visits and we look forward to many more in the coming months and years. Thank you again.
Having tried various other care agencies, I am delighted with absolutely everything about Kingsway Care and would recommend them in the highest possible terms to anyone who needs personal care.
The Kingsway carers all provide an ideal balance of competence, efficiency, kindness and desire to help. Furthermore, their unfailing great punctuality (much better than all the other agencies I have tried) helps me plan and manage my days.
I book 30-minute sessions with Kingsway. I am delighted to find that when my personal caring takes less than thirty minutes, which is usually so, the carer is *always* happy to do house-maintenance things to fill up the 30-minute slot, they have done carpet vacuuming, lightbulb exchanging, garden weeding etc.
What great value Kingsway is.
Thank you Geoff. You are incredibly kind and we are so pleased to read your positive feedback. We have shared your comments with our team and they are thrilled. Thank you and we look forward to visiting you in the coming weeks, months and years. Thank you.
Have provided my neighbour with an amazing, caring experience that has helped him massively. They’re always on time and prompt. They also go the extra mile to help him with anything they need. Good attitude and wonderful staff.
Hi Henry, Thank you for your kind review. We really enjoy supporting your neighbour and look forward to seeing you both at our new office and café in the summer.
2020 was a very difficult year with the passing of my lovely wife along with the COVID pandemic. Kingsway Care has been a ray of sunshine in what has been dark times. The staff are ever so kind, compassionate and are willing to go the extra mile to help in any way. I really look forward to every visit from my carer, she knows me so well. We have so many great conversations and I feel so at ease and comfortable. I couldn't recommend Kingsway Care highly enough.
I know our caregivers love supporting you we are glad we can help.
2020 was not a good year for my 99-year-old father. After 72 years of marriage his wife died of Covid in April, and he, having contracted Covid too, was not able to go to her burial. When he came out of hospital he was mentally and physically extremely weak, we all thought he wouldn't pull through. I was so grateful when Kingsway Care was able to provide the physical and mental support he needed, by being there for him and listening to him. He regained his strength to finish the book his was writing about his life, and the fact that his carer took such an interest changed his whole world. I'm constantly updated by Kingsway Care, I feel I don't have to worry and chase up everything anymore. They are helping him to remain mobile, he has now regained his strength, and is always looking forward to his carer's visit! Such an amazing change, thank you Kingsway!
Thank you so much for taking the time out to write this review.
We are really happy we have been able to make a difference and I know that the team really enjoy spending time with your father.
Kingsway Care have been more flexible and caring then any other care provider I have worked with in the past. They concentrate not just on the care but the whole picture. The staff are great and have really looked after me during lockdown and I really look forward to their visits. I love the fact they are local and the manager lives 5 minutes away from me and regularly visits to provide support and advice.
Many thanks for your kind words, it is a pleasure to support you and we look forward to welcoming you to our new office and café later in the year.
If there is anything else we can do to help then please let me know.

Meet the Team (8)
I started the company to be the best home care provider in Sussex and the best employer too. Our Clients come first and we provide outstanding care at home services with imagination and joy. My team is handpicked, well-paid, supported and trained. I actively encourage my employees to enjoy their jobs and create quality time and fun experiences with Kingsway Care Clients as well as outstanding care.
Before Kingsway Care, I worked in software sales but always took on voluntary work to balance my core desire to help people. I have been a volunteer Special Constable and was my Great Aunt Lily’s primary carer during the last years of her life. Now, I choose to do daily care visits because I find it so rewarding. I don’t want to have a management team stuck in the office so encourage every team member to do care visits too.
Olly lives in Hove and socially is known as the instigator of fun. He is always planning day trips, evenings out, holidays, little treats – anything to make life more enjoyable for friends and family. And now Kingsway Care Clients and CareGivers can experience the same treatment.
My name is Vicky, and I’m the Managing Director overseeing all areas of the business to ensure efficiency and outstanding care.
I am responsible for recruiting the right people for our team and creating the right working environment so that we retain them. This is key to our ability to provide consistently high quality care.
All Clients and team members receive a high level of consideration, appreciation, and respect. Our Client Coordinators work closely with clients and their families to ensure that all care provided is uniquely designed for each individual. I also love to complete care visits, which allows me to remain in touch with Kingsway Care Clients and CareGivers.
Vicky likes to keep fit, play badminton, run, and paddle boarding with her teenage children.
My name is Lisa and as the Registered Manager, I prepare the block scheduling for the Care team every week. I ensure our rotas are efficient and allow enough quality time with each Client. I also introduce new clients to their primary CareGiver to make sure the Client is happy to comfortable to have carers in their home. Lastly, I love to share my skills by developing training courses for the Kingsway Care Academy.
Before Kingsway Care, I worked in a hospice for several years learning how much can be done to help make the last moments special for both the patient and family during an emotional time. I then went on to work in a Dementia Nursing Home and learned how to communicate with people living with dementia.
My name is Laura and as one of the Client Coordinators at Kingsway Care, I work to ensure our service commitments are met and manage the wellbeing of our clients. I liaise with clients and their families, engaging with GP's, and make referrals to clinical teams, as necessary. I also write and update care plans and carry out quality assurance reviews.
Originally from Oxford, I moved to Brighton in 2012. I worked in the Criminal Justice Service for nearly 12 years before deciding to move into care work. I enjoy working in care because I am passionate about people and making their lives easier wherever I can.
In my spare time, I like to read, go to the beach, and spend time with my son.
My name is Kerry and I am one of the Client Coordinators.
As a semi-retired ex-headteacher, I was keen to develop my expertise and life experience in a new career. I was very fortunate to be given a management role within Kingsway Care and I have never looked back!
I am also a CareGiver and really value going out into the community to visit Clients, their families, and friends. You can really get to know individuals and make such a difference in their desire for independent living.
I am conscious that people will “remember how you made them feel, not necessarily what you said.” To be with a client laughing and joking is job satisfaction in itself.
The safeguarding and well-being of our clients are paramount and we strive to give outstanding care at every visit.
Outside of work, I have been happily married for nearly thirty years and am a proud mum of three children and a rescue dog. My hobbies include baking which I am only too happy to share with the team and Clients. I also love reading and visiting National Trust properties. I am very fortunate to now work part-time and truly feel I am loving living again both in and out of my role!
Kerry lives in Hangleton and enjoys eating out with friends.
My name is Wayne and I used to work in a residential home for adults with disabilities. For the last fifteen years, I’ve worked as a builder, handyman and gardener. I can fix most things or recommend home improvements to make your life easier. Contact us to get those little jobs done and dusted.
My name is Jacqueline. As Head of Marketing, I have developed the Kingsway Care brand and ensured our communications are consistent and engaging across all customer touchpoints. From the website to advertising, printed brochures and flyers, social media and e-newsletters. I’m also really enjoying writing our CareGivers’ and Clients’ stories and understanding how great care can make such a positive difference in someone’s life.
Before joining Kingsway Care, I worked for many years in the advertising industry in both London and Dubai but frequently visited Brighton & Hove to enjoy what I call ‘Olly Stock Events!’
Jacqueline lives and works remotely in Sintra, Portugal, and loves arts & crafts and visiting the team in Brighton & Hove.
My name is Katy and as Disability Champion, I make sure we are Disability Positive in everything we do. I am also responsible for developing Kingsway Care activities to encourage young adults with disabilities to get out and socialise more.
