A great friend of ours was in need of additional support at home as she was approaching the end of her life . We wanted to arrange 24 hour cover so that people close to her could spend quality time with her . We met with Tony who understood with compassion what we were trying to achieve . He worked quickly and efficiently to bring a small team of people together to provide the cover . At all times we know who was coming and this was so important to our friend . Everyone was extremely caring even downloading special dance music that they knew she would like .

Severn vale have provided first class exceptional service . Thank you

I contacted Severn Vale Home Care when I needed advice regarding removing my mother from a Care Home and bringing her home for Palliative care , as this was my Fathers wish , and hers. Tony came and could not have been more reassuring or helpful at an extremely emotional time. He took great care to explain what 24/hr live in care would provide for my Mother and Father . He explained the type of care provided and the level of support required as she has dementia and a restrictive eating plan . He reassured us at every step of the meeting that our wishes were extremely valid and he was very understanding towards my Father , who was struggling with the idea that my Mother would pass away before returning to home comforts. Tony left us with all the information we required to make the correct decision for my Mother , and at all times we felt supported and understood .

Severn Vale were recommended to us by a friend whose mother they were caring for.
From the initial consultation to identify Mum's needs throughout our association with the company they have been excellent.

From the start she just needed a teatime visit which she looked forward to each day when she was served a hot or cold meal from home bought by myself on weekly trips to the supermarket. Any spills or accidents of a more personal nature were dealt with in a cheerful manner and all washing up and wiping down done.

Later as her needs increased the calls were increased accordingly to include things like showering. The manager and office staff have kept me and my husband fully informed as we have worked with them, and my husband really enjoyed talking with the Care Manager. Mum is now in a Care Home but Severn Vale kept her in her home as long as possible.

Mum has been having Severn Vale cover her lunch time slot since August 2025, to the present day - end of January. We have been very happy with the care and service they have given. The Carers are very friendly, attentive, respectful and conscientious. Office staff are always available should I need to phone and speak to someone and are very professional and courteous, having time to chat about how things are going.

We are very pleased with the service provided by Severn Vale to my mother. My Father passed away in May and then a few months later my mother had a fall. This affected both her mobility and her confidence. Severn Val e have provided a daily morning visit for 2 or 3 months now. All of her carers are "very nice" and adapt their visits to her needs/wishes each day. My dealings with them on behalf of my mother have always been promptly and professionally handled. Very good service.

From the moment of picking the phone up to call Severn Vale Home Care they have been nothing but professional, efficient, well organised supplying an exceptional care service. They answered the phone and the person I spoke to came out to see my mother to assess her needs, and within a week supplied a full care service - 4 calls a day - a rota was sent out weekly so everyone knew who was coming and exactly what time - perfect for someone as house bound as my mother. I couldn't fault their service.

Severn Vale Home Care was selected by my daughter-in-law after my recent heart scare- and what an inspired choice. They have provided outstanding care to my wife who suffers from MS and is wheelchair bound. The staff are without a doubt a perfect example of what caring should be. They are "understanding and caring" and have contributed in no small way to my own recovery process, and to my wife's mental recovery, always providing smiles and help that really matters. They have become part of our family and we look forward to their coming each day. There is no doubt in my mind that Severn Vale Home Care has played a vital part in the well-being of my wife and my own recovery. As we do not want to lose their input we have decided to continue with a once-a-week visit indefinitely. Me and my family cannot thank them enough for all they have done for us and we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a care package.

Severn Vale carers have looked after my mum for a year with 2-3 visits per day. I can't speak highly enough of their service. The manager and the team are very easy to contact and very responsive. The carers are reliable and the individuals were professional as well as genuinely interested in my mum and making her life as easy as possible, she looked forward to seeing them. I would definitely recommend Severn Vale.

We feel like finding Severn Vale has given us our lives back - we were drowning - the rapid onset of dementia for my husband's mum was all-consuming, we are a small family so everything was on myself and my husband's shoulders - then I called Severn Vale.
Mother-in-law has always been a difficult lady so to be honest I didn't hold out too much hope - but I was wrong - she loves the girls - adores them.

They are friendly, kind, calm, prompt, clean and very helpful mowing the lawn - walking the dog - taking her to co-op - washing her clothes - nothing is too much trouble. We honestly cannot fault them or sing their praises any more than I do already. 100% would recommend.

The level of care provided by the team looking after our father was outstanding. He was a gentleman with a personality and unusual likes. Everyone took their time to know him and his needs. They always had patience, a smile and a huge amount of kindness. Although his health deteriorated rapidly the standard of care was so high and they were never rushed. The team also found time to care for myself and his son. For that, we can't thank them enough. From management to the carers everyone supported Dad and ourselves and we were all able to care for him at home until he passed away. We would have no hesitation in recommending Severn Vale Home Care.

We are delighted to have found Severn Vale, they are efficient and the office is very responsive to queries. The carers are all very pleasant and helpful and also do cleaning to a good standard and get through all the work needed in the time allotted. If they have covered all the jobs they ask if there is anything else to be done. The morning carers are on time and check that Mum is up and okay and always ask if she wants any personal care. We are very pleased with the service so far and the daily updates are very useful and reassuring.

Severn Vale employs lovely staff, and Mum enjoys their visits very much. They have a very good communication system and respond well to feedback and requests when we need to fine-tune. As we are now up to 3-4 visits daily, this caters to all aspects of Mum's care. The staff are very observant, and inform us of any concerns, as well as shopping requests etc. Mum lives in a village west of Worcester, and so it is all the more impressive that they can reliably get to her. I would not hesitate to recommend Severn Vale and have found them to be by far the best out of several we have had over many years. Mum has been receiving this level of care, over many, many months, often by the same carers, and so they have a great rapport, which is equally important. Keep up the good work, thanks from all the family.

Extremely satisfied with most aspects of the treatment I receive. The girls are all polite and friendly and carry out their tasks very efficiently, apart from the occasional mistakes in putting items away where they go, which means researching everywhere - frustrating and time-wasting! One or two girls will foresee a job without being asked - very encouraging!
