Extremely satisfied with most aspects of the treatment I receive. The girls are all polite and friendly and carry out their tasks very efficiently, apart from the occasional mistakes in putting items away where they go, which means researching everywhere - frustrating and time-wasting! One or two girls will foresee a job without being asked - very encouraging!
We are delighted that your overall experience is five stars and that you are extremely satisfied. I am sorry that there have been occasional mistakes in putting things away, we will make your care professionals aware. Thank you for the lovely review.
After a long stay in hospital, Mum has recently returned home and started using Severn Vale Home Care. Both the office staff and carers are very understanding and compassionate. They endeavour to understand Mum's individual needs and take the time to have a chat with Mum. For me, it's very reassuring to see the carer's notes after each visit via their app.
Thank you so much for your kind review. As a local, family-owned Care Service, we aim to offer the highest standards of care to our clients and support for family members. We will pass your kind words on to our dedicated Care Professionals.
After a rollercoaster of trying to find the best care for my mother, I was fortunate to find Severn Vale Home Care. My experience with them has been very positive, both with the office staff that coordinate care schedules, as well as the excellent team of carers. My mother has benefited greatly from the intentional care given to her from the care staff. I myself, have witnessed the warmth, kindness and respectful nature of those I have met. This brings great relief to me as I do not live locally to my mother and thus am reliant on the wonderful support that is given. Thank you Severn Vale Care Team for all that you do for my mother and all others in your care. Your dedication is much appreciated.
Thank you for your kind review. Our dedicated and highly trained Care Professionals and friendly office team take pride in offering the highest standards of care to our clients. As an independent, family-owned business we are proud to contribute to the lives of people in our local community.
I find the carers are very sensitive to your needs and always cheerful. I've always found they are always the same and make sure I take my medication.
Thank you for the lovely review. Our lovely team of care professionals and friendly management team are delighted that you are pleased.
Carers are all polite and very caring, carers have got to know me as a person and my routine. Always helpful and ask if I need anything, they are all good characters and I really get on with everybody. Would appreciate a little more communication with the office as I like to know what is going on for the week, but they always help me out where they can.
I expected adequate care for my aunt as she progressed to the CHC pathway, however, the team of carers show her dignity and respect, making her comfortable and going above and beyond when situations have dictated and providing sound care for her physical being as well as her emotional needs. Communicating updates, thoughts and concerns whenever necessary to management and family members.
We are, on the whole, very satisfied with the care that my husband receives. The carers are friendly and competent and most are prepared to go the second mile in doing whatever is needed. The one criticism I have, and it isn't major, is with the timing. On occasion, our lunchtime call has been at 3 pm, which is way off to be called lunchtime. Other times, the morning call is a little later than we would like, likewise in the evening. I appreciate that it must be extremely difficult to organise, so this is just an observation, not a complaint.
After approx 18/12 experience, I can only relate to care, excluding food preparation. They are unfailingly polite and friendly and make sure that we have no extra needs before they leave. For myself, as the full-time carer, they also provide a listening ear. We both feel the Worcester office to be responsive, and we value them highly.
Despite using Good Oaks Home Care for a very short time, my mother had a fall and is now in hospital. The carers from Good Oaks were very good, thorough, gentle and professional. The company has been very understanding under the circumstances and very supportive.
Good communication and understanding of my parent's wishes. Dealing well with difficult illnesses and working well with other agencies involved in the care.
The carers are sympathetic to my needs. They are always cheerful, and their visits give me an enjoyable chance to chat.
Great service from my carers who know my needs well and ensure I can remain in my home. I would recommend them to anyone who asked.
I was very lucky to find this company at short notice. I had no recommendations, so took a chance. Carers are so good at their job, and we have had lots of help from management regarding getting help from NHS, eg occupational therapy. Would definitely recommend Good Oaks Home Care.
All the carers arrived on time, been very helpful and have done everything my husband has asked them to do,
The carer arrives punctually. She has got to know the needs of her client and provides for those needs very professionally. She is very flexible and willing to undertake tasks which helps a great deal.
Pleased from the start, in all aspects.
Good Oaks were incredibly professional, in the beginning. They talked through our requirements and came up with a plan to support my mother who needed assistance at home. We employed Good Oaks for approximately three months but had to terminate the contract due to inconsistent and inconsiderate management. Our biggest concern for Mum was that she needed a routine and we established a regular schedule for carers to attend her at home. Very rarely did staff turn up on time or stay for the planned four hours. There were regular changes and no consistency of care which left my mother feeling very anxious and upset. The whole point of the care was to allow Mum to live a full and independent life following a traumatic head injury a few years ago. I can only say that Good Oaks left us in a worse position than when we started and I am horrified at what was provided to allegedly support a vulnerable lady. Our experience does not lead me to recommend this company to care for elderly or vulnerable adults.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you feel that our management team fell short of expectation. We provided a small team of carers to provide both a personalised and consistent level of care for your Mum. Unfortunately, prior to the conclusion of service two members of the care team...
