Right at Home (Loughborough) is part of the Right at Home UK home care provider family. The branch offers home care to adults with a variety of health needs.

Care plans are created for each individual in order to provide personalised care that supports and empowers each client to live the way they choose.

The branch works in an entirely person-centred way, completely avoiding the 'time and task' method by not tendering to the local authority. This ensures that visit times are consistent and reliable and there is always time to care. Minimum visit times are 30 minutes although 60 minutes calls are preferred.

The Carers are not intensively rostered with ample travel time between visits and never expected to be in two places at once. The health and welfare of their Carers is of utmost importance as well as a duty of care but, it is so much more than that.

The best quality and most compassionate and care is delivered by Carers who are happy, supported and appreciated.

The foundation of all our care is a one hour visit, because we don't think effective, compassionate care can be delivered in less. However if only a thirty minute or forty-five minute call is require, in the evening for example we are very happy to accommodate that. There is no minimum provision, if the client only wants or needs, one hour a week we are delighted to assist.

Right at Home have been suppling carers for my elderly parents. As a family we cannot thank the staff enough. They have been 100% committed and have genuinely supported them in every need, the carers have looked for any other issues that they can help with prior to leaving. My parents have decided that
they need to go into a residential setting as they are both in their mid-90s.
As a business, they fill all the criteria of a good and well-managed company

Mum started needing help from carers in early summer 2022. From the moment we first contacted them, Right At Home Loughborough were friendly, professional, caring and very reliable. Whilst Mum only needed one hour’s care visit per day, this service was reliably provided and the level of daily care
and also the management support were thoroughly appreciated.
Mum benefitted from Right At Home Loughborough’s services until January 2023 when she decided to move into a care home. I’d happily recommend them.

Your client is my mother. She is really quite disabled and has extremely limited mobility.
She has severely impaired grip strength, widespread osteoarthritis, a degree of deafness, and a myriad of problems.
Over the summer, for some reason, I can't remember what, she had carers from another company.
They were not brilliant. What I mean by that, is that, and this is in no way racist, all from foreign climbs, and as such, had pronounced accents; which, due to mum's deafness, made it difficult for her to understand them. As individuals, by and large, they were nice people.
They often, however, did not stay with mum for the whole hour that she'd paid for.
Anyway, we dispensed with their services and were recommended your good selves....What a difference!
All the ladies have English as their mother tongue. They are all kind and of a cheerful disposition. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they do stay for the full hour.
All in all, can't fault them!

I have used Right at Home a couple of times already to look after my husband for a few days while I've been away but this time it was 17 days, but as usual, the Managing Director and the whole team took it in their stride. The cat was fed, plants were looked after, and of course, my husband had a lovely
time chatting with the different care givers! So professional in getting the job done smoothly, while so friendly and caring. I have no reservations about using Right at Home and from our experience I would highly recommend them. A great team.

This company stepped in at short notice when my mum was end of life. They were really responsive to our needs and provided a top-quality service. The staff were capable, warm and friendly whilst maintaining professional boundaries. One staff member, in particular, was incredibly supportive in providing

Right at Home have been working with my father for some two and a half years, visiting him three times a week to take him shopping, to appointments etc. At that time I lived abroad and was very happy with the input he was getting. I returned to the UK in October of last year this input of care continued.
However, some three weeks ago a carer from Right at Home contacted me to say that he seemed rather confused and had got all his tablets mixed up. She suggested they call in each day which I agreed to. I went to see my dad and it was obvious that there had been a sudden deterioration. That soon got to a stage where he required three visits each day. On one visit the carer called his senior as dad was having toilet issues. She assessed the situation, called 999 and he was in hospital for a week. Two days after his discharge he again had problems. 999 was called, took 12 hours to arrive. The member of staff stayed through the night with him. Incredible. The level of care from Right at Home is second to none.

Right at Home are the best care company I have ever had. They make you feel accepted with all my illnesses and mental health issues. They go above and beyond what any other care company has done before. Much more personable than previous carers I have had.

David Newcombe

Job Title: Managing Director

Joined: 2020

David has a commercial and general management background. During 2020, he, like many, questioned if there could be, or should be, more to his working life. The answer was a resounding yes, and he realised that the route to care had been signposted many times in his life, and he was introduced to Right at Home UK. He now believes moving into care was the best decision he has ever made, as it is truly a privilege to work within this sector and serve the community.

Claire Moseley

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2021

As the Registered Manager, Claire has responsibility for both the quality and the compliance of the care delivered. This means she will be very familiar with the needs of every client and will have interviewed every Carer herself. The role of the RM within a care company is most important, as they are the first point of call for the CQC.


Claire has a Degree in Psychology with Health Studies and has worked in the care sector for over twenty years. During this time, Claire has amassed valuable experience in all areas of care.

Danielle Bradshaw

Job Title: Care Co-Ordinator

The Care Co-Ordinator is responsible for scheduling calls for our Carers to fit in with the requirements of the Clients, whilst also planning the most effective routes with sufficient travelling time between calls. Danielle ensures that visits are made and that care is delivered in a timely manner. With many years in the Care sector, Danielle has a Level Three Diploma in Health and Social Care and a Foundation degree in Nursing. Before taking on this role, Danielle was previously our Senior Carer.

Mandy Nash

Job Title: Field Care Supervisor

Joined: 2023

In her role as a Field Care Supervisor, Mandy conducts supervisions with Carers and reviews with Clients as well as sharing the ‘on-call’, out-of-hours duties with Claire, Danielle and Ru. Being 'on-call' can also include visiting Caregivers and clients as required, as all of the team at Right at Home Loughborough are always ‘carers’ first.

Mandy has another string to her bow, in that she has multidisciplinary ‘train-the-trainer’ accreditation so she delivers most of our training to new Carers and as part of the constant refreshers and updates for Carers.
