I am very happy with the care provided by Highlands Care. All the carers have been kind, helpful and cheerful, and have done everything asked of them. Their client has not been perhaps as obliging as she might have been but the carers have been unfailingly patient and accommodating nonetheless.

I found the Carer from Highland Care looked after my husband very well whilst I had to go away for a few days to attend a family funeral. I spoke to her and my husband every day and he was happy with the care she provided which was reassuring for me.

My experience of Highlands Care is exemplary. It is genuine 'care' that is provided along with warm, friendly carers. They very much work alongside me to cater for mums individual requirements. I spend a lot of time with mum so am there to see first hand the care that is provided. A big plus for mum, despite being double handed and four calls a day, we have only ever seen four carers and occasionally the Manager, this enables continuity and the ability to build up a relationship. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company, if only all care companies were like this!

He finds his carer" a useful and helpful chap who usually does things to me and for me that are a good idea!" I feel secure in the knowledge that if I go away on holiday he will monitored as closely as ever and that I will be contacted very quickly with any concerns, such as medication problems. The agency are also available to help with any falls Dad may have outside of his care hours, which is a weight off my mind being a 2 and a half hour drive away from him. I am no longer the only person keeping an eye out for and caring for my Dad which means I can go back to being his daughter again for a while. When you find an agency you can trust it is such a relief!

The staff treat my wife with respect and dignity. Her Alzheimer's is advanced now and doesn't talk much but they still talk to her like she would and try to join her in conversation. They tell her what they're going to do so nothing is a surprise. The manager always sends the same carers, which is very helpful at this stage.

A particular member of staff is an angel. I have never met anyone quite like her, empathetic, kind and utterly trustworthy. I needed emergency assistance with the care of my mother who has vascular dementia. Thanks to the member of staff in our hour of need, the safety, health and above all dignity of Mum were not only preserved but totally safeguarded in the nicest possible way. I cannot imagine what would have happened without her. I cannot recommend her more highly. Anyone else who may need Highlands care help in the future can relax completely confident that their loved one is in the best possible hands.
