Peak Home Assist are an experienced home care provider who offer services in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire.

Peak Home Assist provide 24-hour care for individuals aged 18 years and over; staff are on call day and night, and they have nominated staff on call in case of emergencies. Staff are trained to offer emotional support, reduce risks and hazards in Service Users' homes and assist with daily tasks and activities.

Peak Home Assist hold a CQC rating of GOOD (June 2022) on all key lines of enquiry, showcasing that Peak Home Assist are safe, well-led, caring, responsive and effective.

All care staff at Peak Home Assist are enhanced DBS checked and receive regular mandatory training in principle modules such as moving and handling, person-centred care and medication administration. As well as this, care staff hold at least a level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care or alternatively a level 2 care certificate. Staff are kind, empathetic, non-judgemental and professional. Peak Home Assist’s management team conduct regular spot checks and supervision sessions with care staff to ensure that they are happy in their role and operating to the best of their ability.

Peak Home Assist cater to the person-centred needs of each client. During initial assessment, which takes place before the commencement of care, the assessors get to know prospective clients and what their specific needs are. A care plan is then created with those needs at the core of the development.

Once care has commenced, care staff work closely with clients and often discuss individual needs and wants, to ensure that all care plans are as personalised as possible and updated regularly.

I would like to say that I am happy with the care given to my mum by your staff. On a few occasions there have been just a few carers that don't appear to complete all tasks required but overall other members of your team are excellent who are kind, caring & show compassion when caring for my mum.
She is happy with the care she receives and feels comfortable will all your staff .

Care has been provided since 19 May 2025. So far, they have been very good. The management are approachable and friendly. The carers have been on time, very caring, polite and whilst only there for a short time, have either undertaken a bit of cleaning etc. or have made time for a chat. We have
only had one problem which has been dealt with quickly and efficiently. If the care continues in the way it has started, there will be no worries. Many thanks to all the carers and extended team.

Can I just say whoever the carers were at mums on that last call yesterday evening - they went above and beyond to actually locate mums denture - it was all the way down the bottom of the garden!!

Really good company. Management very approachable and quick to act.Needed to change a day and done very quickly. In April management rang me and asked if I would like to cancel care on bank hol Monday because of double rate .I again asked to have Tuesday instead and it was done
in minutes. All carers very punctual,polite and efficient ringing me if they are a bit late (very rare).Overall very pleased .My only wish is the carers could give my wife help with personal hygiene but my wife is adamant she doesn't need care and refuses all offers of help from me and the carers.

The carers come every morning just to wash and dress my husband. They are always polite, helpful and considerate, and notice anything which is different, which they discuss with us. They come prepared with the equipment they need and always dispose of the disposable stuff into the dustbin.

Peak Home Assist have been supporting my dad twice a day for the last 2 months. During this time , the management and direct support staff have been brilliant. They have been very approachable and work hard to give dad the best quality of care, he is treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Carers from Peak Home Assist attended to my chronically ill and disabled sister's needs for several months, enabling her to remain in her own home until that was no longer possible. My wife and I are most grateful to the manager and all her care team, for providing high quality care and for making my
sister's life as comfortable as possible during the time when she was in their care. Our sincere thanks go to them all for doing everything they could to minimise her distress, especially during the last few weeks while she was still living at home, and for the kindness they showed in attending to her needs on the day of her move into a care home. Special thanks to the manager for her personal kindness to my sister, for professionally and efficiently setting up and coordinating the care plan, and for her prompt and diligent personal attention to ensuring that particular issues were dealt with as and when they arose.

As a family we were very happy with the care given to my aunt at her home over several months before she moved to a Care Home.
In sometimes challenging circumstances the care and support given was consistently excellent, with kind and helpful staff.
The carers who came in did everything they could
to move her with care and to make sure she was comfortable.
Communication with the office was also straightforward and the team were friendly and efficient.

I have been a Peak Home Assist service user for several months and I can honestly say that it has been an extremely pleasant experience. All of the carers arrive on time (15 minutes either way), are very pleasant, and are exceptionally helpful. I find that they strike the right balance between being
friendly and businesslike, are well trained and educated and I have had some fascinating conversations with carers who come from various parts of the world. Peak Home Assist may not be the cheapest service provider but in terms of value for money, they would be extremely hard to beat.

Really good company. My son is taken out into the community by one of the Peak Home carers. They may go swimming, bowling, bingo or to the gym. It gives me a break, as his main carer, and my son loves going out with his carer. He gets on very well with his carer from Peak, and the company are very helpful.
If I need to change the days or times my son is taken out, the company will try their best, even if they have to send another carer.
I have been with other companies and have been let down by them. Peak Home are totally different to them. I cannot speak highly enough of the company and my son's carer.

Overall very happy with the service to my mum. Sometimes when new carers go in I have to speak to Head Office as some of the instructions for caring for my mum aren't always followed. Otherwise all is ok.
