Leah is an experienced and compassionate care professional with a strong background history in social work and 10 years of frontline and senior-level experience. She has practised as a qualified and registered social worker until February 2022, working across a wide range of complex and multidisciplinary settings.
Now working as a Registered Manager at Ramm Care Group, she continues to draw on her deep understanding of social work values, such as empathy, social justice, and holistic care planning. She brings a wealth of knowledge in safeguarding, mental health including forensics, multidisciplinary coordination, and client-centred approaches.
Her extensive experience includes roles within Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT), low to high secure forensic mental health hospitals, Personality Disorder Directorate in forensic high secure NHS Hospital, Community Learning Disability Teams (CLDT), hospital discharge teams, various local authorities, and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Services. Leah has supported individuals and families through some of the most challenging periods of their lives, always with a commitment to person-centred care, empowerment, advocacy, and dignity.
She is experienced in working within Community Mental Health Teams, Neuro Brain Injury hospitals, Hospital Discharge Teams, and Secure Forensic Mental Health settings (low, medium, and high). Skilled in supporting clients, families, and victims to manage risks effectively, facilitating safe discharges, supervising child & family contacts and ensuring continuity of care.
