Sylvian Care domiciliary staff are professional, good humoured and friendly. The office staff respond promptly to any concerns I raise, and accommodate most scheduling changes that I request. The only thing I would change is to receive better communication when schedules are changed after the rotas have been sent. From the initial contact through the assessment stages and then the care itself, Sylvian staff have been courteous and helpful. The carers were polite and attentive to my sister's needs and she told me that she enjoyed their visits. The company's online recording system enabled me to monitor, from my holiday destination, each of the visits and any concerns that were being raised. The carers and the MD were incredibly supportive to both myself and my grandmother and were so kind and gentle with her, especially when she began to deteriorate.
My Nana was able to pass away in her own home, which was her wish and this was only possible with the care provided by Sylvian Care.
I cannot find any fault and the dignity and respect they showed her was so lovely.
I could not recommend them highly enough. Even when we had a water shortage the MD brought some bottled water round, which shows how above and beyond they go for their clients.

Mum (84) has Alzheimer's. Following a fall and stay in hospital we decided on home care 4x a day as an alternative to a care home. We were initially concerned as to how mum would respond to strangers in the home however our experience with Sylvian has truly been a positive one. Once we decided on Sylvian they attended the address that day to meet the family and later visited mum prior to her discharge from an assessment nursing home. The team were professional at this stage but what would the care delivery be like? Due to another fall we only had 10 days of care but during that time each pair of carers have been a credit to themselves and the organisation. They were respectful, friendly and treated my mum, who is bed or chair bound, with kindness and dignity. Sadly mum will now have to go into a care home, we would have preferred Sylvian continue to take care of her but mum's fall risk, when carers not present, was too great. Very impressed and thank you for your help and support.

Florin has completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Similar to his wife, he felt a strong connection to health and social care and decided to pursue a career in this field in 2014. He has worked together with Alina for various care providers and completed NVQ Level 2, 3 and 5. He decided to join the Sylvian family and together with his wife Alina, acquired a Sylvian Care franchise covering the Southampton area in 2020.
Alina has a degree and master's in Tourism from ‘’Al. I. Cuza’’ University, Romania, however she felt a strong call towards care and pursued a career in health and social care instead. She started her career in 2014 and worked for various care providers acquiring experience in both domiciliary and residential sectors. She has progressed to a senior position and has completed NVQ Level 2 in 2015, Level 3 in 2017 and has completed Level 5 in 2021. In 2020 she decided to join the Sylvian family and together with her husband Florin, acquired a Sylvian Care franchise covering the Southampton area.
