Overall we are very happy with the carers and the care they provide for mum,the only issue we have is at times there has been a lack of communication and passing on relevant information to myself from office staff which l have addressed at the time.
I have had a positive experience always with my carer with monthly visits. Sometimes the administration isn't 100% on point but issues always get resolved when I call or email, would be better if they headed them off before it became an issue
Communication with their office is easy.
I cannot fault them.
Thank you. It means a lot to hear that our team has felt like an extended family, especially with you living abroad. We're proud to support your mum and truly appreciate your trust in us.
The managers have put together a wonderful care provision that has helped us support Mum in her own home through the complex transition from full independence, to her recovery from repeat falls and an early dementia diagnosis, with Mum losing much of her physical and mental capacity.
No challenge is too small for them, their communication is easy, open and honest and the breadth of support provided is so much more than we would have expected. In a sea of care providers, SeaShell stand out as reliable and trustworthy, which counts for so much when finding care for loved ones who want to stay in their own homes.
Can’t recommend them highly enough.
Thank you for the glowing review, it really is our pleasure to support your mother. I will pass this on to the team who will be very pleased.
We had initially been receiving care from another local provider, but as my father’s condition worsened we felt like Seashell’s offer was more suitable. Right from the start the manager was open and transparent about the costs, took the time to explain how things work, and assembled a team that was tailored to meet the needs of my father and also my mother as primary carer.
As well as treating my father with respect and care whilst at home, Seashell have also been helpful in assisting us during a recent hospital stay.
The manager has strong links to the local health system, and provided invaluable advice that enabled us to navigate a difficult situation in times where we were both overwhelmed and exhausted.
I’m not sure we could have got this from any other local care provider and can’t recommend them highly enough.
Thank you, you and the family are a pleasure to work with, I am glad that we have been able to help.
SeaShell took on the caring arrangements for my mum in September, previously my father was primary carer but now struggling with cancer. We have asked for initial support twice a day, seven days a week, and this has worked really well. Each carer was selected and introduced carefully and we now have four covering the week. They have built a strong and trusting relationship with my parents and it more than 'just a job'. No corners cut, take time and go beyond the brief to provide a genuine caring service. My mum being looked after so well is helping my dad's help and extending his life. My mum is now more active and able to leave home more frequently. SeaShell have been a real blessing.
Thank you for your kind words, it is a pleasure to support your mother.
Since SeaShell has been looking after my mum, I feel that I have got my mum back! The carers live up to their job titles in an exceptional way, and each one of the team brings something unique and personal to enrich Mum's life. Mum is always pleased to see them, and nothing is ever too much trouble, and I am confident leaving her in their wonderfully caring hands. Through the detailed notes from every visit, I can see how Mum is and any concerns are flagged up and dealt with immediately, with team members going above and beyond. I always feel comfortable communicating with any of the team, and I am also very impressed with the support and accessibility provided by the management team of the company. I am so delighted with what SeaShell is providing for my mum, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. My only regret is that I did not find the company sooner!
Thanks so much for your lovely feedback - the team are very fond of your mother and will be thrilled with your kind words!
In the last few weeks of my mum's life, I found the kind support and professional help provided by the management team invaluable - it helped me through what was a very difficult time.
Seashell provided excellent care and support not only for my mother but for myself too, and I cannot thank them enough.
Thank you, Helen; it was a pleasure for us to be able to help.
I am so pleased to say that we, as healthcare professionals ourselves, found the care to be excellent and faultless. The care staff were well trained, professional, not over-familiar and respectful. My mother-in-law was not only safe but happy to receive their input. Thank you all for your respect, care and support
The support and understanding that we have received have been wonderful during what can be a worrying time. They have intuitively matched the carers to our parent's differing needs, and both parents are benefitting enormously from their help. They have been very flexible and understanding with our requests and have been able to provide professional and constructive advice when trying to establish a care plan for them. We are able to constantly keep up to date with their visits via the "care app". Seashells will update us if there is an area of concern following a visit. They are a pleasure to work with and a reassuring professional home care provider.
Thank you, Clare; it is a pleasure to work with you and your parents - I know the team enjoy visiting them very much!
Our first experience of using a care provider and Seashell have proved faultless. Their choice of carers has been perfect; their experience, advice and guidance are excellent, and their level of communication is swift and reassuring. They are flexible, supportive and extraordinarily professional, and the carers have undertaken the tasks we have requested to the letter. Furthermore, their subsequent detailed feedback provides really helpful and fascinating insights. Delighted to be working with them; they are quite outstanding.
Thank you, Graham; you and your family are an equal pleasure to work with!
Professional, reliable, thorough care was provided the whole time Seashells looked after my mum. Always willing to go the extra mile and change shifts wherever possible, if required. Always at the end of the phone to offer guidance and adjust medication.
Thank you so much - the team loved looking after your mother!
We have had SeaShell looking after my uncle since earlier this year, and the support that we have received has been exceptional. The carers have been so well matched with him, and he really enjoys their visits, and we have seen a real change in his mental wellbeing since they started. We have a continuous dialogue with them as he is changing with dementia, they have been nothing but professional, and I am reassured that they are well trained and supportive in their approach to his changing behaviour. They have been really flexible with time and date changes and keep me posted if new appointments have arrived; they have always been able to work around normal scheduling. I would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a tailored, bespoke, flexible care package. SeaShell is a pleasure to deal with.
Thank you so much for the feedback - we are delighted we could help, and the team really enjoy the time they spend with your uncle.
SeaShell and the entire team go above and beyond to ensure my sister is well taken care of. When we have needed additional services, e.g. administration of antibiotics, they make it happen even if the request is last minute. My wife and I live in the USA, and from our first conversation with SeaShell, we obtained a very high comfort level that has continued throughout their tenure. They provide continuity of care which provides them with significant insight into the care needs of my sister, e.g. taking her to the doctor when needed, shopping etc. My sister adores each and every one of the teams, which adds to our comfort level. Their communications skills are outstanding! The app provided is a fantastic tool which provides us with excellent daily updates from the carers. Once again, this is key for us given our distance from England. In summary, we highly recommend SeaShell, who consistently provides outstanding service.
Thank you! Your sister is a pleasure to be around, and we are glad that we can help in any way.
From my initial consultations, I could tell they were the perfect fit for my dad. Both come with medical backgrounds and have contacts within the industry, which is really reassuring, but it's not just that that makes Seashell a phenomenal team.
Each carer is well trained and proactive. They make my dad feel comfortable and content in his home and genuinely look out for his best interests, going above and beyond to do what's best for him and assisting me with anything I need that can help him further. They put the "care" into a care team.
They have been so proactive in making arrangements for assessments, contacting physio's and social workers and advising
Thank you, Rachael! We are delighted to help and we love spending time with your father; he is so fun to be around!
As we now find ourselves entering a new stage of live-in care, we are still able to continue working alongside Seashell for a weekend and respite care.
Thank you to the manager and his team for your professional and kind approach.
Thank you, Hayley; it's a pleasure assisting your mother, and we look forward to continuing our relationship!
I would like to thank Seashell for the first-class service given to my brother. Sadly he passed away just before Christmas, but the care and support given to him and his wider family at such a difficult time was exceptional.
Thank you; was an absolute pleasure to care for your sister, and will always be in our hearts.
For the first time in many years, my mum was able to spend Christmas with us, largely because of SeaShell. Dealing with her needs largely due to MS and her age, and being wheelchair-bound. She was treated kindly as an individual person given time and attention, which has not always been the case by other care providers. The team was really professional and friendly. Kept in touch in the lead up to her stay and advised on some equipment to hire once they'd assessed where she would be sleeping. Their timekeeping was good, and communications were never an issue. My mum was able to enjoy time with her young grandchildren she would never have otherwise got, and it avoided her having the first Christmas alone without my dad. I'm pleased we found SeaShell and would recommend them.
Thank you - we were delighted to be able to help your mother spend Christmas with you; she is a wonderful lady and loved by all the team! Come back soon!
From the initial enquiry through to commencing caring for my father, SeaShell has been a Godsend! Nothing is too much trouble, and they are so supportive to both my father and me! It’s quite early days, but everyone is doing their utmost to make life better for my dad, even if he doesn’t appreciate it yet! I would recommend them to anyone considering finding a company that really cares.
Thank you so much - we really appreciate your feedback and looking after your father. Especially when he teaches him how to play golf!
My mum had mobility problems and needed immediate care after coming out of the hospital. We contacted Seashell and arranged a meeting for the day my mum came out of the hospital. The owners arrived and were both extremely efficient and very professional and arranged carers to start straight away. All carers have been wonderful with my mum, helping and encouraging her to lead an independent life and treating her with the greatest respect. Nothing has been too much trouble. A mix up with her prescriptions has been sorted out, equipment to help my mother has been ordered, physio and occupational therapy arranged. My mum is making huge improvements and now no longer needs overnight help. I thoroughly recommend Seashell.
Thank you so much for the feedback, Alison; it has been a pleasure to help your mother and so rewarding to see her mobility improve so much.
