My uncle has care by Seashells Epping. He has early onset Alzheimers. His cognitive impairment affects his own self-care and eating. Seashells has come on board to help make a lighter load for the family and make life easier for John. The carers speak to family members when problems arise. Keep us informed when we need to do a food shop. They cook, clean and do laundry and video call to load drugs into his digital locked drug machine. We receive weekly updates on his care. I would recommend Seashells. Their staff members are able to communicate with my uncle at his level and encourage washing and eating. They are currently trying to get him to go out for coffee, which in time, hopefully he will go. The family live in different areas of the country and some distance, so it's great support to know he is seeing a friendly face during the day. The family didn't want too many faces going in for his care, as their uncle would not feel comfortable; they have accommodated his wishes.

Overall we are very happy with the carers and the care they provide for mum,the only issue we have is at times there has been a lack of communication and passing on relevant information to myself from office staff which l have addressed at the time.

I have had a positive experience always with my carer with monthly visits. Sometimes the administration isn't 100% on point but issues always get resolved when I call or email, would be better if they headed them off before it became an issue

Mum is very glad to still be able to stay in her own home which the care provided by your company allows her to, thank you. She always writes on her memory board that everyone is very caring and efficient (which is a great compliment from Mum). I like how proactive everyone seems to be and how you talk to me about any problems or things that will make both Mum's life and your job easier.

SeaShell took on the caring arrangements for my mum in September, previously my father was primary carer but now struggling with cancer. We have asked for initial support twice a day, seven days a week, and this has worked really well. Each carer was selected and introduced carefully and we now have four covering the week. They have built a strong and trusting relationship with my parents and it more than 'just a job'. No corners cut, take time and go beyond the brief to provide a genuine caring service. My mum being looked after so well is helping my dad's help and extending his life. My mum is now more active and able to leave home more frequently. SeaShell have been a real blessing.

Since SeaShell has been looking after my mum, I feel that I have got my mum back! The carers live up to their job titles in an exceptional way, and each one of the team brings something unique and personal to enrich Mum's life. Mum is always pleased to see them, and nothing is ever too much trouble, and I am confident leaving her in their wonderfully caring hands. Through the detailed notes from every visit, I can see how Mum is and any concerns are flagged up and dealt with immediately, with team members going above and beyond. I always feel comfortable communicating with any of the team, and I am also very impressed with the support and accessibility provided by the management team of the company. I am so delighted with what SeaShell is providing for my mum, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. My only regret is that I did not find the company sooner!

The support and understanding that we have received have been wonderful during what can be a worrying time. They have intuitively matched the carers to our parent's differing needs, and both parents are benefitting enormously from their help. They have been very flexible and understanding with our requests and have been able to provide professional and constructive advice when trying to establish a care plan for them. We are able to constantly keep up to date with their visits via the "care app". Seashells will update us if there is an area of concern following a visit. They are a pleasure to work with and a reassuring professional home care provider.

SeaShell and the entire team go above and beyond to ensure my sister is well taken care of. When we have needed additional services, e.g. administration of antibiotics, they make it happen even if the request is last minute. My wife and I live in the USA, and from our first conversation with SeaShell, we obtained a very high comfort level that has continued throughout their tenure. They provide continuity of care which provides them with significant insight into the care needs of my sister, e.g. taking her to the doctor when needed, shopping etc. My sister adores each and every one of the teams, which adds to our comfort level. Their communications skills are outstanding! The app provided is a fantastic tool which provides us with excellent daily updates from the carers. Once again, this is key for us given our distance from England. In summary, we highly recommend SeaShell, who consistently provides outstanding service.
