They have been real superstars for my mother. She lives alone and was resistant to the idea of carers initially, but now she really looks forward to their visits. All the ladies I have met are really lovely. They work hard but always have time for a chat. Thanks to all who are involved.

Greenwood Homecare cared for my mum for a month, from the point where she needed just that bit of help in the mornings until it became clear that she needed much more than that and she decided to move into residential care. Greenwood staff were wonderful, from the first meeting with the manager to the carers who were all wonderful with mum. Thank you to all at Greenwood for your support.

We have been really happy with Greenwood, the ladies are punctual, friendly and very caring with my mum. It gives us peace of mind as a family that Mum's being looked after on the mornings we can’t help her.

I have been a Greenwood service user for a number of years and have always been happy with the personal and other care given over two two hour visits a week. However, I had to have a recent stay in hospital due to a problem with one of my legs and since I came home in mid-December 2021 I have required daily care.
The care I have received from the team at Huntingdon has been wonderful. If it wasn't for their care and support I would not have been able to come home from the hospital.

Their care and support have meant I have been able to be treated at home by the Community Nurses and another specialist team from the hospital for the condition affecting my leg.

We have been completely happy with Greenwood Homecare (Huntingdon) from the very first phone call onwards. Everyone has been so professional and you know the carers do genuinely care. We trust each carer. They try to keep the same carers so there is good stability for my mum.
We are able to read my mum's notes as soon as the visits have ended and that gives us peace of mind and also a "heads up" if she has run out of milk etc.
They have also gone above and beyond as my mum had had a fall one day before the carer arrived and the way the carer and the manager dealt with my mum and getting in touch with us was very calming and reassuring.

We feel that my mum is being looked after by the best home care team.

When I contacted Greenwood Homecare they were more than happy to help with respite care for Mum and I couldn't have asked for more. Mum was understandably nervous about strangers coming into her home but the carers are so friendly and she has been treated with such care and compassion that she looks forward to the carers visits and considers them friends. The carers are always willing to help in any way and it is such a weight off my mind to know that she is being looked after so well when I get a few days off to recharge. I would not hesitate to recommend Greenwood to anyone needing similar help.

My mother is 96-years-old and has just become quite forgetful. She started to forget to cook her brought lunches and also gets very lonely. She is really happy with the carers that come in at lunchtime to cook her food and keep her apartment in excellent condition. We only have them 1 hour a day and half an hour on the weekends. It gives us a quality service that enables us to leave Mum in their care while we go away.
