Finding a Care provider to put your trust in to support a family member is not an easy task. We reached out to Greenwood Homecare in Peterborough earlier this year and have been delighted with decision from the moment Jodie visited for the initial assessment. The professionalism and attention to detail shone through immediately, making the choice an easy one.

My Aunt has enjoyed getting to know the team of carers looking after her. The whole team really does go out of its way to support my Aunt and are sensitive to her needs, often going above and beyond in the way that they help her and keep close family updated, liaising with external agencies where needed and even supporting with calls through to the doctors surgery to check on prescriptions.

The Birdie app is also a fantastic way of keeping family up to date on the care provided, noting any concerns and how my Aunt is generally. We are so pleased that we chose Greenwood HomeCare and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Jodie and her team at Greenwood Care have been supportive, responsive and flexible with my young, brain injured client. They have provided gentle encouragement and assistance when the client needed it. After extensive searching via other 'specialist' brain injury care and support providers, they have been the agency that stepped up, delivered, and who continue to deliver a service my client and I are happy with.

I joined Greenwood's about 8 months ago. An elderly male with mobility issues due to an earlier stroke I own my own home but began to struggle to live independently without more help.. Finding a solution to this problem proved fruitless at which point I randomly called a provider offering ancillary home care services locally. A senior manager of the company took the call and two visits later- to my own home - a care-plan was conceived and agreed.. That company was Greenwood's. I will never regret that moment. The rest is history. The daily carers assigned to me are a lively bunch - engaging, spirited and professional to the core. Searching for the secret to Greenwood's success I can't help highlighting the policy of using experienced and respected career practitioners to fill the key management and leadership roles within the company. I have been delighted with the service that we have received from Home Care. We recently switched from another live in home care provider and the difference in the service we receive is night and day. Our main contact Jodie has been very professional, accessible and attentive, with a very detailed care plan and ongoing interactions to ensure that things are running smoothly. The two carers we have used thus far have been excellent and my mother is very happy with the attentive support that she received. The service has been so good that when my mother in law had to go into hospital for a hip replacement I recommended HomeCare for her post op home support. I would highly recommend Home Care.

My mother in law is in the best hands with Greenwoods. All staff are kind when caring for my mother in law. They are prompt, courteous and report each visit via an app. This keeps us informed as to the ongoing care if Ann but also allows us to follow up on concerns such as medical needs.

My husband and I have nothing but praise for Greenwoods. Without them my mother in law would have faced a longer hospital stay, and possible closer move to a care home facility. Greenwoods has allowed her to stay in her own home to recover from a hip fracture earlier this year and rebuild her independence. All the while knowing regular, kind and professional Greenwoods staff are calling and supporting in every possible way.

We approached Greenwoods to provide in home support for my mother. Initially we wanted 1 hour per day, 7 days per week to support mum at lunch time and to prepare a lunchtime meal, and an evening snack. Mum has a degenerative disease.

Initial contact was very reassuring and a representative visited mum at home in my presence to assess mum's needs and environment. All options were discussed and the timeslots we requested were available.

The nominated main carer was sent for training on how to cope with mums specific condition prior to starting work, which we thought was very professional.

Once care started, the main carer was always polite and respectful, and always seemed to have mums interests at heart. She even stayed with mum on one occasion when an ambulance was needed when mum made a mistake with her meds.

Unfortunately this meant we re-evaluated mums care and put her into full time residential care. This was in no was a reflection of GHC, who were excellent throughout

We have been using Greenwood Home Care for approximately 10 months now to help look after my mum. She has 2 visits a day to mostly help with meal prep and general welfare. All the carers Mum has had have been lovely, really kind and keen to do their best for her. She has built up some good relationships with her more regular ladies. Hygiene standards are high and the kitchen is always left clean and tidy. Whenever I have needed to contact the office staff I have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Lady very friendly and good. They are patient and kind.

I find the carers very good ,punctual rarely late and then only if there is a traffic problem. They are caring and always seem to be able to handle patients. My husband fell during the evening and was very stiff ,sore and slow the next morning but the carer didn't rush him,gave him reassurance and handled him gently.it was very much appreciated by both of us.

Excellent care - all the carers are gentle and sympathetic, my husband feels safe and secure with them. We are delighted with the service provided by Greenwood and very glad that we found them. Thanks to all.

I can not fault the care my mum has received in the past 3 years and would recommend them to anyone it has been a pleasure to have them come into my home and there politeness and caring ahs been wonderful.

My experience with the Greenwood Homecare service has so far been uniformly positive. The care workers have been cheerful, helpful and fully professional throughout their visits. They have been careful to listen to my needs and willing to go the extra yard to give a complete service. Each carer brings a slightly varied approach, but this is all to the good. My only comment would be that punctuality has been questionable on rare occasions, usually there has been a good reason for this so I would not wish it to be seen as unduly negative. Well done!

Having them look after my father is a huge weight of my mind, I feel confident that I will be notified of any issues (even down to him not wanting breakfast) and that they will work with us to find a solution to help him.
