The care team visiting my mother on a daily basis are excellent in what can occasionally be trying circumstances. We have good communication with the various members of the team all focussed on making my mother comfortable and safe. My only suggestion for improvement is the admin team, it sometimes takes several attempts to get a request actioned or for information to reach the care team.

Overall it is a positive experience, however there are a few things that can be improved such as communication between carers. Carers taking time to look at previous comments, remembering long term care plans and details of the client. Certain carers i.e. women take longer than male carers. They give me encouragement to do things independently and have a good rapport with them.

We had other care companies. they are not a patch on the unik care workers; they are so nice people and nothing is too much trouble to help my housebound wife.
they are on time and if they are held up with previous client we would receive a phone call from them to say what time they will arrive.
Their care for Barbara is to be recommended. Nothing is too much trouble. and everyone of the care team always ask if there is anything I can do for you.

I would like to say the office staff are also very caring, and nothing is too much trouble to ask or cancel the care if we have hospital appointments. We are so grateful for all their help.

Very efficient service from the beginning. Massive plus for our family is the 4 key carers who visit. My dad has dementia and continuity of a carer is very important. They are always very helpful and polite and treat my dad with respect. They are always punctual and have never just not 'turned up' in the last 12 months. The office and management staff are also very helpful and respond to my queries. Thank you.

Unikare promised me that they would do better than the last company I had. In short, they did nothing of the sort. Whilst they were wooing me, they sent their best carers. Sometimes 2 or 3 at once. A carer came to my house and listened to me. He made me feel at ease. Unfortunately, that was all his part in my care over and done with. I could never reach him. My text messages were left unread and my concerns never heard or acted upon. Carers shrunk my son's clothes (they're not supposed to do anything for my son, he's a grown man) and bleached his and my clothes. Both very expensive mistakes. My son is 6ft tall so his clothes are expensive. No recompense offered for his or my clothes.

However, it was the feeling of being used as a training exercise for new carers that got me in the end. A new carer every week who had no clue of what caring for sick/disabled people entailed. Yes we get angry. However, it's not unjustified.

Thank you Sufia. We are sorry to hear about your experience with us. When we started providing you with our care you told us that you had tried multiple care companies and none of them were good enough for you. We were in constant communication with you and your social worker whenever issues were...

Unikcare Solutions provided care for my sibling A, supporting them despite numerous challenges and worked very hard to build a relationship with them and improve their situation. The carers were kind, supportive, thoughtful and respectful both to my sibling and to myself whenever I had cause to speak to them. Well done and I wish you every success in the future

Exceptional, dependable care throughout Mum's long illness, allowing her to remain comfortable and safe at home.
We are especially grateful for the care and support given to both Mum and us, her family, during her final days.

It helped so much in such difficult times.

My husband came home from hospital on end of life care. Two carers, four times daily and one overnight were needed. Unikcare was the only agency able to supply this. The carers were always on time. They were efficient in their work and so kind and reassuring to my husband and myself. I cannot speak highly enough of these wonderful and dedicated people.
