I'm incredibly grateful for the care my elderly mother receives. The care professionals are not only compassionate but are deeply dedicated to her well-being. The management are understanding and work closely with us as a team. Their dedication truly brings peace of mind to our family.
Thank you for your kind words. It's an honour to support your mother, and we're truly grateful for the trust your family has placed in us. Knowing our care brings you peace of mind means the world.
The care my mum got was excellent. I could not fault any of the staff. They all went above and beyond. I would always recommend them all from the manager to all the carers. My mum was well treated throughout her time with them.
From the first contact with this company, we knew this was the company we wanted to provide care. They listened to what Mum required and helped us plan a care package. We also liked that the minimum time provided to deliver care was an hour, where as other care providers it was just 30 minutes. The care provided was exceptional and all staff employed by company showed compassion and understanding of Mum's needs. Mum wasn’t too keen at first to have carers coming to the house but very quickly, due to the carer's understanding of her needs, she accepted the situation and enjoyed their company. There was also consistency with staff attending. With the support of the company, Mum managed to stay at home for 2 years before going into a care home and we as a family are forever grateful for this. I would highly recommend Home Instead as a care provider.
Thank you for your review, we are very grateful in you trusting us with mums care. We aim to make sure our clients are put first and treated like family. We were Honoured to be able to help keep mum at home and build a relationship with her.
My husband and I are delighted with the care he receives from extremely competent staff. We have been with this provider for almost a year. It is the 5th provider over 7 years and is the best yet. The staff are exceptional and organising the set up was fairly straightforward. My husband has complex health conditions and the staff have been specially selected to support.
Thank you for your kind words. We always aim to ensure clients are put first. The Care Professionals who visit have done an amazing job in building a relationship.
They helped support me with both parents who have dementia. My mum wasn't letting anyone in her house and they helped me by planning the best way to approach things. I had online meetings in the evening with a dementia expert and the manager to help me understand how best to help and approach things.
The standard of care was exceptional and was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem they supported me fully.
If you want a company that will genuinely help you and work with you I cannot recommend them enough.
I used their services for a year until my parents went into care, this gave my parents another year at home.
They did everything they said they would do and more, from putting the bins out, cooking home-cooked meals, putting shopping away, cleaning floors, hoovering, washing, car trips to visit brother for barbecues, and accompanying me so I could take them out for tea.
I cannot praise the management and staff enough. From day one we were met with a very professional, caring and compassionate company who clearly do what they say - make care personal and tailored to the individual. Over the eight months we had Home Instead there was mutual trust, respect and sharing of experiences and information - true teamwork. Our opinions and wishes were always taken into account and advice was always forthcoming when sought. a strong bond developed as well as a feeling of being one big family. Home Instead went above and beyond to give my mum the best care possible and were an excellent support to me. I am extremely grateful to everyone at Home Instead.
Thank you Carolyn for your kind words. It was a privilege caring for Mum, we truly felt like family.

I have had a career in the Banking industry. While I fully enjoyed the corporate world, I have always wanted to be able to make a difference in people’s life via Community Care. My passion to support individuals to remain in their own home’s safely and with dignity has come from me being a young carer for my mother. With my father passing away when I was 12 I became the carer for my mum. Having gone through my mum's journey with her it has made me fully understand the value of dignity, and know the importance an individual needs to have a purpose and not to feel a “burden” which we all know a loved one is never seen as. In order for an individual to have a purpose they have to own their independence and Home Instead supports an individual to maintain this by supporting them to remain in their own home safely. I have experienced first-hand the challenges families face when trying to navigate the care system and the impact of poor quality care. I believe there is a better way, and this prompted me to start Home Instead Dundee & South Angus. My role is to grow the business ensuring my own values are maintained, and we provide a 100% client centric care without compromise. I am supported by Lori-Anne our Care Manager, Ashleigh our Care Coordinator and a fantastic team of CAREGivers
I have experience caring for a parent from a young age so understand both sides of care, I love to make a difference in people life's and love helping people find a career that they can make a difference in.
