The small but reliable team goes above and beyond for their client base, quite simply you receive a standard of care unmatched by like to like agencies in the area.
Care plans are tailored, accurate and continually updated alongside clients' changing needs.
Staff are professional, punctual, trustworthy, friendly and empathic.
The manager and the team strive to maintain this high standard across the board. Carers are flexible and amenable. Family members can expect consideration and support.
The team is also happy to liaise with, and work alongside umbrella services.
Communication is key to the success of Homescare ltd. You will find this wonderful agency approachable and willing should you choose to make contact.
I did and it changed my life. Thank you Homescare. (Care is ongoing at the point of review.)
Excellent help from both the managers over the last twelve months. They, and other staff members I have met, are most helpful and are a pleasure to work with. I always look forward to my carers visits.
Staff are very friendly, helpful and observant. I consider them to be well-trained and very importantly, consistent. Management is also flexible to our requirements.
All the staff have been kind and helpful, encouraging me to regain my independence after I fell and broke my shoulder.
All the staff have been friendly and I have had consistent carers not lots of different people.
It has felt like a very caring and personal service.
I would definitely use Homescare again if I needed to.
All the carers are friendly and efficient. The initial assessment was very helpful and they went out of their way to get to know and understand my mother in law. Great service reasonably priced and very flexible. Thank you.
Homescare was accommodating to any changes that he needed to make to his care package.
I would have no hesitation in endorsing this company.
Very grateful to the manager and her team for stepping in at short notice when my father-in-law had an accident leaving him unable to undertake personal care. He is very happy with the care he has received at home where he is most comfortable. Once recovery was getting there, the Manager and the team have encouraged him to begin to build independence slowly which has built his confidence and he has since ventured out independently too.
Thank you.
Our mutual clients were always impressed by their kindness and support, and the way they kept the family updated with their welfare.
I would like to retract my earlier review which I felt slightly bullied into posting. I would no longer recommend using this company. The carer that they sent was lovely, however the organisation was far from caring.
I feel this is an unfair review as provided person-centred care from 2022, as close of POC this has been taken personally from NOK.
Homescare have been incredibly responsive and supportive of our needs. My mother is a quadriplegic and so she cannot be left alone and she needs help with everything. The Carers we have had come in from Homescare have been excellent. They are practical and friendly and very calm. Just an excellent service. The Care Manager is always willing to help in whatever way she can.
I liked the fact that, except for one day in the three weeks, the same carer came every day. It enables one to form a relationship with that carer.
I have found my mother's carers to be extremely helpful and polite. My mother has commented how lovely they are. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A well-run business with a team of friendly, patient and respectful people.
I have nothing but praise for the support I had from this wonderful company. All the staff were so kind and caring, and had the utmost respect for my husband and indeed myself in the last few months if his life. They preserved his dignity at all times, and were a massive comfort to me at a most distressing time. Thankyou Homecare. I thoroughly recommend your services.
From the moment of first contact with the owner, we have been delighted with the service. She clearly explained what care my mum needed and how we could get help. We chose them based on the fact they were local and that the times fitted in with what we needed. We couldn’t be more pleased. The timekeeping has been excellent. The staff are exceptional and all the staff seem happy in their job and with the service they provide. All the careers have gone above and beyond to help my parents in their care but also to chat. They very willingly will carry out any housework that is needed. A very hard act to improve on. Thank you
Staff are both kind and thoughtful, as well as providing my wife with the opportunity for fresh conversation to brighten her day.
The office is easy to contact and we cannot fault the service available.
The standard of care has been consistently good. My mum requires two carers to assist her during each visit and Homescare have kept this to a small team of consistent carers to help my Mum (and Dad) adapt and to develop good relationships. Experienced carers have always accompanied carers that are new to my Mum, ensuring suitable training, a person-centred approach, safety and much needed consistency.
All the care team we've met are friendly, personable, pay attention to detail, & show a desire to get to know my Mum in order to support her in a way that most suits her. Mum found having care at home challenging initially, however the Homescare team have worked gently & consistently to reduce the anxiety & uncertainty for her.
Reliable with great time keeping too, would recommend.
We find the carers very supportive and very kind to Mum. They support us so that we can visit my mum as her children. I would highly recommend homecare in all aspects, they help with feeding, cleaning and my mum loves that they will watch the TV with her or evening play cards.
Homescare's carers have been looking after our dad (aged late eighties, with mobility issues and moderate dementia) in his sheltered flat for most of this year. We're grateful for the level of care and for their kindness, patience, cheerfulness, humour, practicality and flexibility, including adjustments to suit the changing daily schedule, and keeping track of essential medication. Recommended.
I have been very impressed with the carers who have assisted in looking after my husband with dementia. They have all been friendly and efficient and have all made a great effort to keep him entertained, which is extremely difficult at the stage he is now. They have been punctual and adaptable, kind and patient. The owner came and did an assessment of my husband to see what his needs were, which she carried out with empathy and efficiency. Altogether an impressive organisation.
I'm glad I gave these carers a chance as I'm happier with their care.
