My only problem with KLM is that there timing is absolutely shocking, you don't mind half hour either way but sometimes it can be up to an hour and a half late for my call.
When the girls do turn up they are so apologetic but it down to them having far to many calls on there rotas which is a fault of the management who do the rotas.
Very professional and caring organisation that cared for my mother for 12 months. Nothing was too much bother, very flexible to our needs.
KML Kare girls are very friendly, my mam has a lovely bond with them. They help with Mam's needs and are always willing to help with anything Mam wants or needs. If there are any problems at all they will contact me straight away.
*I haven't dealt with management and our care is funded.
Agreed times not kept to, carers too often up to two hours late. Call duration should be 30 minutes - many times carer only in property 5-10 minutes. Both issues have been raised with management. This is not satisfactory.
We required care at very short notice and KML Kare were brilliant at providing this and really helped us out. The care itself was second to none with the carer being really supportive and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending KML Kare.
My Mum passed away at the end of April. We had another care provider but we weren't happy with the care. We were recommended KML and it was the best decision we made. The problem we had, had was Mum being upset by the fact that the other provider didn't send the same carers and sometimes it was men and this upset Mum. We mentioned this to KML and we were provided with the same 2 carers and a 3rd if one had a day off. The 2 we had were fantastic, catered for all Mums needs and really cared for her. They supported us all as a family and we and Mum became very fond of them. We can definitely recommend this company. Regards Katrina and family.
Just want to say out standing staff looked after my mum i couldn't asked for a better team. care came from they hearts all prefect thank you so much for all you done. i would recommend this company if your looking for a care company. my mum was treated with dignity ,and respect,
Carers come to my husband, and are so caring and compassionate and do a fantastic job.
The care company started very quickly when I was poorly and the carers that have been coming regularly are very friendly, helpful and nothing is a problem. They go out of their way to support me daily. I find them very efficient and look forward to seeing them each day.
Carer failing to turn up at all for visit and to administer meds.
Carer turning up extra late and giving both morning and afternoon medication together. Carers completely unaware on how to correctly fill a hot water bottle.
These are just the MAIN danger points I noticed. Please think Twice before letting a this company look after any of your loved ones! I ended up reporting them to the QCC.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear your negative experience and that we did not meet your expectations. Please be assured that all of our carers are trained to a high standard and strive to give the best possible service to all users. The Manager would welcome any visits...
A particular staff member is an excellent carer for my husband. She has good balance of encouraging him to have a shower, change clothes, get dressed. Very polite, helpful tips for me, positive attitude & smiley.
Carers are very keen & helpful in all I ask of them. Only one problem I find is that timing of their arrival a bit erratic. Early morning calls between 7-8 am is ok but then some days dinner time calls can be between 11 am & 2 pm. The later time isn't good for me as I am diabetic. The evening call is anywhere between 6:30 & 9 pm. I would like to have a rota in place so I knew who was coming & what time.
I do apologise in regards to the call times and will look into this immediately and thank you for the review.
This care is essential for us & knowing that it can be immediately increased is important.
My husband has been looked after with compassion, and dignity and the carer's interaction with him is marvellous. Despite his dementia they communicate their care and are vigilant, noticing any change in him i.e. skin issues etc. The carers we have also are supportive with me as I to have had medical issues. I once said to them if I could bottle how you with my husband and show it people would have excellent access to care.
Very satisfied with all the care provided. The girls go above and beyond to give the best care experience.
The girls are very helpful, do most of what I require and are nice.
They are always very caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. I love to see them for the little chats and banter that we have. I feel very lucky to have the carers I have, they are a wonderful bunch of people who are doing a brilliant job looking after my care needs.
My mam has a good relationship with her carers. They are always helpful and understand and explain any concerns with me. I feel happy most of the time knowing my mam has these girls looking after her. I know this helps me a lot when I am away from my mam.
The staff at KML Kare LTD have been amazing with my mum, she is not always the easiest of people and her condition has affected her greatly. The staff always manage to settle her and make her laugh and relax. The familiar friendly faces have made things so much easier. She may not always remember their names, but she always says how lovely and caring they are. They have also been a massive support to Dad. It helps him on difficult days to have them coming in, often deflecting confusion and giving them both a friendly face to have a conversation with and help them both get through difficult days. When as a family we were on holiday, it helped hugely to know they were in safe hands daily.
