Our personal care services costs are determined by the Client's specific needs and the number of hours of care to be provided.
To offer safe and effective care, we suggest a minimum of one hour for every care visit, however, we do offer a 20-minute medication call, 30 minutes, 45 minutes and 60-minute call times.
However, before presenting an estimated cost of treatment, we may talk about how frequently you'd want these visits.
We understand that one of the most significant concerns surrounding care is cost, so we've made our service both stress-free and cost-effective. Our fees are simple to comprehend and manage, and you will always be in complete command of your finances. Our visits last one hour and are frequently longer. This allows for ample time for quality care while yet allowing time for conversation and the development of a genuine relationship.
We can provide 20-minute medication visits as well as 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute home visits.
We can also provide a sitting service, waking nights, and live-in care services for up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We have a variety of care and support options available; please contact our friendly team to discuss your needs and requirements.

The staff have been incredible. The managing director went above and beyond by caring for my mom's pet when it was unwell, and she continues to provide excellent care for my mom. She often takes her to visit local attractions like the beach and cafes, which has been wonderful. I feel much more at ease now that my mom is living at home with this additional support. It's reassuring to know that I can always call the office to request changes in routines if needed. They make it clear that nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that the director and the team have been providing exceptional care for your mum, especially in the little details like caring for her beloved dog and organising visits to local attractions. It's...
Living at Home has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and assistance from start to finish. This began with my initial inquiry and extended through to the assessment and development of a care package for my grandfather. Throughout the process, I felt that nothing was too much trouble, and it was clear that everyone involved was genuinely attentive and responsive to our needs. Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Living at Home Ltd. to anyone in search of a reliable and caring provider.
Your kind words are a wonderful endorsement of our commitment...
Each of the four ladies that have attended so far have brought their own personalities and ways. This has intrigued my mother and I can see that she is already accepting their help and enjoying their company. We feel this companionship is actually worth more than the physical tasks they undertake on her behalf. We had hoped that carers would see things that perhaps we might overlook and this has certainly been the case. A big shout out for one staff member, firstly for calling me up immediately when she thought Mum was not quite herself and secondly for spotting some things that were well beyond their best. The manager has certainly delivered on her promises.
We're thrilled that your mum is embracing our care professionals and finding companionship in their presence. Your kind words, especially regarding our vigilant staff...
My brother, who is autistic, loves the time he gets to spend with his care companion. He is always happy and chatty after she has taken him out for the day, which is a big improvement to his normal daily behaviour, and he is ready to tell every detail of what he did while they were out. Because of her kind manner, her patience, and her kindness, I will be forever grateful to her.
We appreciate you taking the time to write such positive comments. We're happy to hear that you and your brother are benefiting from the assistance of our care professionals and that our service has made a difference in his day-to-day life.
caregivers know a lot about care and are friendly, helpful, creative and flexible. They also know a lot about care delivery and are very knowledgeable about it. Great team philosophy.
Thank you so much and we appreciate your feedback and are delighted to see that our work was well received.
Our elderly mother receives care twice a day thanks to Living at Home. It has been a pleasure working with the Care Manager and her team. It requires a team of three carers in various shift patterns which works with our mother, and Living at Home was very proactive and helpful throughout the entire process. The carers set a good example, were very professional and built a lovely relationship with Mum. In addition, the manager coordinated with the doctors on numerous occasions who treated our mother and made sure that the medication instructions were accurate and clear for the carers to administer to her. I have the highest regard for the professionalism and service that they provide.
We are grateful that you took the time to provide such thoughtful and encouraging feedback. Thank you for recognising the expertise and generosity of our carers despite the everyday challenges they face. We are extremely lucky to have the expertise of such an outstanding group of care professionals.
For the past three years, my mother has been living with progressive dementia in her daily life. The initial assessment that was conducted by the Managing Director from living at home through a Zoom meeting left a strong and favourable impression on me. About ten weeks ago the carer began providing care and support for Mum. She is a really patient kind and compassionate individual. She gives my mother the freedom to make her own decisions regarding things such as where she eats her meals and what she wears. In addition to that the carer is really good at hearing out our recommendations. The assistance that we receive from living at home has been of great use to our family as a whole. After providing care for a significant amount of time we are able to take a break thanks to this support.
We are grateful that you took the time to write a review and submit it. Our team had a great time collaborating with you and your family, and it was a pleasure to get to know both you and your mother. Best wishes from every member of the team.
Living at Home provided the personal care and support my elderly mother needed when I was unable to manage her increasing care needs. At a time when domiciliary care was under such pressure from increased demand, we counted ourselves very fortunate to have found an organisation able and willing to step in at short notice. Because Living at Home was relatively newly established and didn't have the wealth of feedback I would usually seek, I was initially a little concerned that we might be disappointed - I needn't have worried! The staff we encountered were all very professional, friendly and helpful. In particular, the carer assigned to Mum quickly built a lovely relationship with her, and Mum came to look forward to her visits, overcoming her initial reservations about having 'a stranger' coming into her home.
To me and to the whole team, this means the world. We agree that our Care Professionals are friendly and welcoming people who are eager to help your mother in any way they can, with dignity and respect.
The manager and her team have done an absolutely first-class job settling my 95-year-old auntie back into her home after six months in hospital, following a fall. She was resistant to the idea of carers but was immediately won over by the charm and professionalism of the staff. She is benefiting not just from the physical care (which is excellent), but the friendliness and companionship of the team. Nothing appears too much trouble and the staff appear to genuinely enjoy the work. They are most highly recommended.
We are delighted to have your views on the care professionals from Living at Home. It is a joy to be able to assist your aunt, who is greatly respected by all of the members of the team. This is such great feedback on the work that our care professionals do every day. We take a lot of pride in...
Fabulous experience. The service provided by Living at Home was person-centred, professional, caring and compassionate. The carers took their time and spoke to my dad throughout the care activity. The director was very kind and always kept us informed of any changes.
Having the opportunity to look after someone's father is an honour in and of itself. Thank you so much.
From the very first assessment call I was sold. The lady came in bright and cheerful which instantly put my great-aunt at ease. My aunt suffers with progressive vascular dementia and as her sole carer and with a young family of my own the pressure was becoming too much but at the same time I was so worried that no one else would care for her as I do - those anxious feelings were put to rest within a day or two when I realised my aunt was enjoying the company. The carers act in such a way that my aunt thinks of them as her friends popping by which for me is amazing as she gets to keep her dignity, pride and, most importantly, remain living at home. The company also stepped in at short notice to do extra calls so I could take a holiday with my husband and children. Thank you so so much ladies.
Our care professionals have so much joy chatting with your great-aunt that they often forget they are working on time. And it's lovely to see that your great-aunty has taken so well to the carer.

The care Living at Home provided to our terminally ill dad was invaluable help to him, Mum and all our family at an extremely difficult time for us. They were thoughtful, compassionate, supportive, positive and professional at all times in challenging circumstances. We would not hesitate to recommend their services to other families in similar situations. Thank you!
It was extremely easy to offer daily care and support to him because he was a wonderful gentleman who was well-liked among our care professionals.
I would also like to thank you for your kind remarks, which have...
The level of care provided to my mum is of a very high standard. All the carers are professional in carrying out their duties and also take time to sit and chat giving the care that extra personal touch.
Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and leaving such kind feedback.
The team will be thrilled to learn how much of a difference they are making for your mother, and we know they genuinely enjoy assisting her.
the community.
Really happy with the service the carers provide. They are always punctual, obliging and professional. I do not live near my dad so it is very reassuring to know he is well looked after and that I can click on the App for a report on each visit. Highly recommended.
We are pleased to learn that the service has pleased both you and, most significantly, your dad.
The care team is always happy to help and to know that they are enhancing someone's day.

Living at Home in Swansea has done a great job taking care of my mother-in-law. When she received an unsafe discharge from the hospital and had to go home alone, we couldn't do anything without them. They went above and beyond to take care of her. Amazing communication and nice caregivers who work hard to help adults who are vulnerable and get stuck in hospital, bed blocking due to unhelpful social workers! We can't give them enough thanks. They really were a lifesaver. Thank you!
We appreciate you taking the time to post a review. It was a pleasure to get to know you and your dad, and our team enjoyed working with you and your family. Warm regards from the entire team.
Thank you so much, the manager and her wonderful team.
We appreciate you taking the trouble to write a lovely review. It is a pleasure for Care Professionals to visit your mother, and it is our pleasure to assist her and your family.
All the very best from the Living at Home team.
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication whilst looking after my father. I can’t recommend you highly enough for your efforts, punctuality and attentiveness to his needs. The manager and her team are very approachable, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks to you all.
We greatly appreciate your review and hearing that you were happy with our service makes us very happy. The team has enjoyed taking care of your dad. The staff members are always glad to assist and hear that they are brightening someone's day because our work is so satisfying. Thank you so much.
Great service, really helpful staff and supportive, nothing is ever to much trouble. Would highly recommend if you find yourself and your family in difficult times with a loved one. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your kind words. We are grateful for any positive feedback we receive. I'll forward your comments to our team.
My father's care was overseen by his carer, who was really pleasant to all of us. My father's carer was so amazing; kind, efficient, and capable of dealing with any situation. We had every reason to believe that our father was in excellent hands, and that was most definitely the case.
We are happy to be able to help meet your dad's support requirements. We will continue to work closely with him, listening to all his wonderful...
At our initial encounter with Living at Home, we were impressed by their professionalism and sensitivity. They were able to provide us with the care plan mum needed and enrolled us in an app that allowed us to keep track of our mothers' visits and report any problems, and this was quite beneficial to us. At first, mum was unimpressed with having carers, but she warmed up to them and even told them she was going to miss them when the visits came to an end. Nothing was too much for the team of carers given they were professional, well-trained, and very kind. We can say that having peace of mind that your loved ones are getting the best care is what we got with Living at Home. We would strongly recommend them, and we would not hesitate to call them again if we needed more assistance.
People seeking assistance are always grateful for our customers' positive experiences with our services.
Thank you so much.

Meet the Team (2)
Joanne, or Jo as she is also known to many, entered the care sector after caring for her mum, who sadly died in 2016.
During the many years she helped her mother, many problems arose because her mother didn't get enough good care and support.
What this period taught Joanne was how difficult it was to find relevant information and support from the many different professional organisations operating in Swansea and the wider areas.
From that point, Joanne would do whatever she could to help and support any vulnerable person in a similar position to find the help and support they deserved to receive.
Joanne has a natural passion for caring for and helping others and strives to make vulnerable adults live the best possible life they can live in somewhat difficult circumstances.
During her time working on the front-line in the health sector, Joanne found her niche.
Joanne is a natural listener, and this has allowed her to build a strong rapport with staff, health professionals, clients, and family members.
Joanne is a natural problem solver and leader who would aim to resolve any issues that would arise immediately, sometimes meaning she would be once again on the front line, sitting for hours with a client who may have fallen whilst they waited for an ambulance together, chatting and listening to a client’s family on the occasion of bereavement or just rolling her sleeves up to assist one of her team - for Joanne, going the extra mile is just who she is.
Joanne supports many charities like MIND, Alzheimer’s Society, Diabetes, and Cancer Research UK, to name but a few.
A passion of Joanne’s is to meet with her clients and their families as often as possible. The Living at Home ethos is that we are all one big family and close communication is her top priority.
At Living at Home, we believe that the quality and consistency of our care, as well as the relationships we build with our clients, are important parts of our work.
We give care and support based on our clients' preferences, so they choose the timing and agree on every detail of their care plan before we start.
Living at Home believes that excellent care shouldn’t be delivered in short visits, so we always look to deliver 60-minute appointments, but we do recognise that not all people require 60 minutes, and so we develop a plan that suits all.
I believe this ethos allows us to provide compassionate care and go above and beyond to improve our clients' quality of life.
I am excited to see Living at Home evolve, and I want to make a difference in people’s lives every single day, not only for our clients, their families but also our amazing care professionals who are now also known as Key Workers.
Rachel Court – Why I want to support our amazing Swansea communities
Rachel has been working in the social care sector for eight years while raising her two young children. She explains why she wants to support her Swansea communities.
As a young mother looking to provide for her family, Rachel began working part-time in the care sector. Despite having no prior experience and some initial uncertainty about care work, she soon fell in love with her job as a support worker.
It was clear to her before long that this was her true calling in life, giving her the assurance she needed to resign from her main job and become a full-time support worker.
A motivating reason for Rachel was the role she could play in serving her community, which she identified as being in need of better quality care.
It’s critical we make a difference
From the very beginning of her career, Rachel has been steadfast in her commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care services to each and every one of her clients.
Motivated by her dedication to social care, she has acquired extensive knowledge of the care sector and its regulations, allowing her to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
With her education, experience, and knowledge, Rachel manages Living at Home’s care service and helps her team of care professionals go above and beyond for the clients they support every day, having a positive role in their lives as if they are family.
Rachel is a calm, sympathetic, polite, approachable, and professional member of the Living at Home team. Every aspect of Rachel’s personality leaves her clients impressed.
So, what does Rachel do in her spare time?
When Rachel is not working tirelessly for her team and clients, she can be found relaxing with family and friends, while sipping on a cappuccino, her favourite hot beverage.
Rachel is just as dedicated to her family as she is to Living at Home.
She loves to travel and has a particular fondness for the Andalucía region in Spain.
Rachel’s little-known fact is that she appeared in a music video for the hugely successful pop punk band Busted in the early 2000s and can play the kazoo!
Living at Home is fortunate to have such a dedicated, passionate, and hardworking individual on their hands who takes the initiative and doesn’t ask anyone to do anything she wouldn’t do herself.
