My son has taken really well to his new carers. Both carers encourage him to be independent where possible. He has been on multiple activities and the carers have engaged well with him. Great communication from office staff who are friendly and make me feel at ease.

So far everything has been fab, the carers have been very nice. The office staff have been very helpful and they were amazing at setting things up for us!

My son feels comfortable with some members of staff. Always happy when he is with one particular man. I feel like the office communicates well with me, if I've had a problem there is always someone there.

I would certainly recommend any of my family members and friends should they require any of the services.

The service we have received has been excellent. All the staff that have been involved with the caring have been courteous, met all caring needs and very respectful of the property. The family account that is used to report every carer's visit has been invaluable to us all. We have been able to check every visit which shows that all aspects of the caring required was met.

My young son has been receiving care from Alcedo Care Blackburn for a number of months now, and I couldn’t be happier. My son is also evidently happy with his carers and his time out with them. Being nonverbal, he still makes himself heard. There’s no doubt he looks forward to his carers coming. All the staff at Alcedo that I’ve personally had dealings with have been incredibly helpful, patient, and understanding. Go above and beyond. As a worrier myself (like a proper worrier), I can honestly say my worries were unfounded and completely put to rest. Another thing I’m sure some people will resonate with is the feeling of isolation. Apart from seeing my son visibly happy and content, the other biggest positive for myself is not feeling like I’m completely alone. It’s an amazing feeling knowing you have support. And Alcedo exceeds in all aspects. Completely. I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend Alcedo to anyone in need of extra care/support. They’re an amazing team.

My carers are great, very helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

Usually waiting in bed at 7.30 am starting Monday and Wednesday, which is centre day. Every other day 8 am.

Carers are professional and reliable and very, very good when dealing with my Mum who is 90 and has vascular dementia. They are clearly well-trained and vetted. They arrive on time and, if there are exceptional reasons why they will be delayed, communications from the office are timely. Having the same carers (as far as possible) is always good when dealing with someone with dementia and this regularity and consistency is largely provided. By far the best care agency I have dealt with and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

The staff are wonderful and so caring, never had to worry when it was home time, as I knew he'd be looked after so well. Keep up the good work.

I am really happy with the care received from the carers towards my mum. She has fantastic carers who always go above and beyond. The office team are lovely and always helpful and listens. Five-star care!

From day one all the staff at Alcedo Care have been very caring, patient and will go above and beyond, the care my nan has received and continues to receive is absolutely amazing. I know she's in very good hands. The standards at Alcedo are very high, everyone I've met has been amazing and very passionate. Alcedo Care Blackburn is excellent overall from carers to office staff. They have looked after my sister for quite a while now and she is happy and as a family, we know she is safe and we are extremely grateful for their support.

I have only been with Alcedo Care for a few months, I am pleased with the service that I have received. The carer that I now have is very polite and caring even though there is an age difference between us we still find things to talk about. The office staff are always willing and helpful.

Amazing staff and managers. Nothing was too much trouble for my aunty. She is well cared for and looked after. The care she receives is always amazing. I'm glad she is in good hands and getting the attention and care. A massive thank you to you all for all you do.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to this service for making such a difference in my husband's life, his final months were surrounded by joy, happiness and love and warmth from the carers. My husband was always so happy to see his carers and I appreciate all their support to us as a family even after his passing. Such warm and kind-hearted people.

Lovely friendly carers. My friend was delighted with the care they provided. She was very worried about letting strangers into her home and being physically helped but her fears soon disappeared. Very professional company and highly recommended.

Hear a lot of nightmare stories coming from care homes and saw this for my grandparents but happy that it's not the case this time round.
