From the first call, both myself and my sister have felt a great burden has been lifted from our shoulders. Every single carer who has attended to mum have been so kind, professional and shown great kindness to mum. To be able to have mum at home was always our aim, and the Alcedo Care team have made this possible. Thank you all so much.

In the case of the carer who presented this to me, I am well pleasant and welcome her each time, as I know things will be done to my complete satisfaction. It would be much better if management could allow all carers considerably more travelling time between clients, particularly in summer months, as currently I and no doubt most of your clients of necessity have to wait many minutes after their due time for meals etc.

Alcedo are doing a really good job in the current difficult care climate. The best thing about them is how promptly and enthusiastically the current manager Rachel, responds to feedback from family of clients.

I really couldn't praise Alcedo enough, they come and look after my son as if he is a family member of theirs. They are flexible when I have had changes to make and very reliable. All staff are friendly and caring - just what I needed for my son.

Alcedo Care, staff have continued to provide a high level of care for my husband, respecting his wishes while encouraging independence as far as possible. Any changes have been communicated professionally to us and so far as possible any changes for additional support have been accommodated. My husband has started to enjoy his interactions with staff as have I.

I am always impressed with the level of care given to my dad and the genuine concern shown for his welfare. The staff always go above and beyond in making sure he is well cared for.

Oh gosh, what can I say? On holiday in the Lakes with my mum who has dementia. They made her feel cared for better than at home. They were respectful and most of all made her laugh which was so good to see. They didn't rush and gave her the time she needed. If only we lived in Windermere we would have them all the time. When we come back also will use it again. If only I could reward them all but hopefully this will help. Do not hesitate to give them a call, worth every penny.

It has been 12 years, and 6 care agencies later since my 39-year-old son fell off his bike and sustained a high-level spinal injury. Alcedo took over his care package on 01/03/24. We as a family cannot believe the difference Alcedo have already made to our lives. For the first time, we have a manager who is hands-on, compassionate, understanding, intelligent and responds immediately to every message and query from either the care team or my son. The nurse-led training has been detailed, timely and appropriate. It is also supportive and kind and also sensitive to my son and his care needs. The care staff are wonderful and for the first time they feel value and supported. We had begun to feel that there wasn't a decent and kind care provider out there. Alcedo have worked so hard to get everything right... I am grateful for all they have done/are doing to provide quality care for my son and to restore our faith in good care provision. Thank you. We find that Alcedo are very professional, they are very understanding when it comes to providing my husband with his personal care. All of our carers on the team have been wonderful. They also help me with some household chores. If there are any problems a phone call to Alcedo and they try to get things sorted. I would recommend to anybody that needed care or help.

The staff of the company have been gentle and kind with my wife and also very careful when handling her. Also enjoyable when chatting with us.

Very satisfactory - but the arrival times are understandably not very reliable. All the carers are kind, empathetic people and I appreciate it when they often ask if they can do anything extra for me personally. A very professional service and all carers seem very well trained.
