My name is Lisa Floyd, and I am the Operations Manager for Alcedo Care. I have over 10 years of experience in the health and social care setting, and I have worked in a variety of roles throughout my career, ranging from a healthcare assistant to a registered manager.

I have attended university and completed my foundation degree and bachelor’s degree in Health & Social Care.

My role as a manager is to enable and monitor compliance with the fundamental Standards across regulated activities and share legal responsibilities in relation to that position with the provider.

I strive to go above and beyond to ensure a proficient service is delivered, and while working here at Alcedo Care, my priority is to ensure we are delivering outstanding care to all clients, as this will enhance the quality of lives.

My name is Rachel and I am the Care Manager for Alcedo Care South Lakes.

My name is Maureen and I’m a Care Coordinator at Alcedo Care South Lakes. My role involves allocating our care workers to our clients, working with our staff’s availability, level of experience and specialist skills, and aligning them to our client’s needs.

I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, only recently returning back to it after a break. I have mainly worked in mental health, working in care homes as a Senior Carer and now moved over to Home Care as a new challenge.

I have a very keen interest in photography and in my time off I am out with my camera, trying to capture the perfect shots. Nature is what I enjoy the most. I also enjoy horse riding and had a horse until two years ago.

I am an Administrator for a charity called Zoe’s Journey, which raises money for research into curing cancer in dogs. The charity was set up by the owner of a dog called Zoe who beat cancer and eventually passed away of old age. The charity is in her memory.

My name is Tammi and I’m the Care Assessor at Alcedo Care South Lakes. As a Care Assessor, my role is to prepare and adapt person-centred care plans for our clients and their families. These might be produced with the client alone, but sometimes might also involve other healthcare professionals. It is my responsibility to ensure our clients have the maximum amount of input possible into the care plan, and that it takes into account not only their personal and medical information, but also their likes, dislikes, and what we can do to enrich their lives and support independence.

My name is Callum and I’m the recruiter at Alcedo Care Kendal. I work to fill our care jobs in Kendal and the surrounding South Lakes areas, and I’m the first person you’ll be in touch with when you look to join Alcedo Care as a South Lakes care assistant or support worker. My role is to work with our operation team to identify where we need more staff, post adverts and review applications. I carry out interviews and guide our potential future carers through the application and compliance process, ensuring we are bringing through the best calibre of care professionals to provide outstanding quality care to our clients.

My name is Tracey and I’m a Field Care Supervisor at Alcedo Care South Lakes. My role includes carrying out spot checks and supervisions with carers, making sure they are providing the high standards of care we strive for. I support the development and well-being of carers, making sure they are happy in their work and our clients are happy with the care delivered.
