My name is Lisa Floyd, and I am the Operations Manager for Alcedo Care. I have over 10 years of experience in the health and social care setting, and I have worked in a variety of roles throughout my career, ranging from a healthcare assistant to a registered manager.

I have attended university and completed my foundation degree and bachelor’s degree in Health & Social Care.

My role as a manager is to enable and monitor compliance with the fundamental Standards across regulated activities and share legal responsibilities in relation to that position with the provider.

I strive to go above and beyond to ensure a proficient service is delivered, and while working here at Alcedo Care, my priority is to ensure we are delivering outstanding care to all clients, as this will enhance the quality of lives.

My name is Rachel and I am the Care Manager for Alcedo Care South Lakes.

My name is Magenta Barrow. I am the Deputy Manager of Alcedo Care South Lakes. I joined Alcedo in January 2023 and I have 11 years’ experience in health and social care.

I have worked previously in care homes working with residential, nursing, and challenging behaviour clients and out in the community. I started off as a carer at the age of 18 and worked my way up becoming a team leader and gaining my Level 2 and Level 3 in Health and Social care.
I have a passion for care and there is nothing more that puts a smile on my face than seeing clients with a smile on their face ensuring they receive the love and care we would like our families to receive.

In my spare time, I like to go out walking the fells with my partner, cocker spaniel and Yorkshire terrier completing the Wainwrights and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

My name is Callum and I’m the recruiter at Alcedo Care Kendal. I work to fill our care jobs in Kendal and the surrounding South Lakes areas, and I’m the first person you’ll be in touch with when you look to join Alcedo Care as a South Lakes care assistant or support worker. My role is to work with our operation team to identify where we need more staff, post adverts and review applications. I carry out interviews and guide our potential future carers through the application and compliance process, ensuring we are bringing through the best calibre of care professionals to provide outstanding quality care to our clients.

My name is Tracey and I’m a Field Care Supervisor at Alcedo Care South Lakes. My role includes carrying out spot checks and supervisions with carers, making sure they are providing the high standards of care we strive for. I support the development and well-being of carers, making sure they are happy in their work and our clients are happy with the care delivered.

My name is Tammi and I’m the Care Assessor at Alcedo Care South Lakes. As a Care Assessor, my role is to prepare and adapt person-centred care plans for our clients and their families. These might be produced with the client alone, but sometimes might also involve other healthcare professionals. It is my responsibility to ensure our clients have the maximum amount of input possible into the care plan, and that it takes into account not only their personal and medical information, but also their likes, dislikes, and what we can do to enrich their lives and support independence.
