I live abroad and so do my two sisters so we really need a reliable company to provide care for our 89-year-old Mum who lives alone and has until now refused to have carers and relied on a family friend. From the first contact with Right At Home, I felt at ease. It was obvious the carer was very conscientious and understanding. I felt confident that the staff she hand-picked would be the same. And I was not disappointed. She received a visit from a manager whom she pronounced as lovely and everything went smoothly – within days Mum was meeting her new support person which went very well. She enjoys the lunches her carer makes for her and is grateful she will feed the birds when it's too cold for Mum to go in the garden. Our mum started with just a couple of visits two weeks ago but is already wanting to increase the visits. This is a huge relief to all who love her!
Thank you so much for providing such a lovely review. It is very much appreciated by the whole team and I will personally share it with your mum's carer who I know loves supporting her. We will of course respond to any request for additional support and I believe this is being discussed with her....
Right at Home have been coming to Dad since the beginning of December. I chose them because of the way they involved Dad in the initial assessment - speaking to him and not about him. Dad, who has dementia, has two visits each day, morning and at tea time. Sometimes dad is up and dressed, sometimes he’s got himself some tea but I never have to wonder what the carer might be doing because she keeps the house clean and tidy, changes the bedding, sorts the washing - she is an absolute angel. Dad has taken to her so well and, as far as his memory will let him, looks forward to her visits. I cannot express enough the peace of mind that it gives me knowing that Right at Home are there to care for Dad. We’ve developed a good system for communicating via a whiteboard in the kitchen so I always know what’s happening and I can pass on info that I need to share. I can see such an improvement in his appearance and mood since Right at Home have been visiting. I can highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide a review. It is very much appreciated. It's an absolute privilege to provide support to your dad who is wonderful. I will share your feedback with the team and with your dad's carer personally as I know she loves supporting him. Thank you.
A big thank you to all the team from the management to the carers at Right At Home, where nothing has been too much trouble, you have all gone above and beyond with your invaluable help and respectful care to Dad (sadly passed away now) and for your continued support in looking after Mum, we cannot express how grateful we are to you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. The carers love supporting your mum and dad and were deeply saddened when your dad passed away. I know that they are dedicated to making sure your mum is as content as possible moving forward and I will share your kind thoughts with them. Thank you.
The carers have provided peace of mind to all the family, just knowing that a couple of days a week, help is at hand. Thank you to all the team for their support and care. They have been very flexible in order to meet our personal needs.
Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know how we are doing. It is much appreciated, and I will share your thanks with the team.
I am highly satisfied with the service received from the company from the smooth transfer from our previous care company to their attention to detail and their willingness to listen and fine-tune the programme to the individual. My sister-in-law is very happy with the staff who care for her and values the cheerful interaction between them as she is otherwise alone most days. The carers are good with their feedback to me which I find most helpful. I feel very happy and confident to leave the day-to-day care of my sister-in-law in their hands, I feel she is in safe hands.
Thank you for choosing Right at Home to provide support. Our caregivers love the time spent with your sister-in-law. She is always happy to see us and the feeling is definitely mutual.
The carers and support team are just great, very understanding of my parents' needs and always happy to accommodate their changing circumstances. They are very reassuring and give me and my sister great peace of mind.
It is very kind of you to take the time to share your experience. Thank you. I will pass your comments on to the team and in particular your parents' main CareGiver as I know they have formed a good relationship and she loves supporting them. Please be assured we will always increase or decrease support as required.
Following an accident at home, resulting in a fractured hip, which required surgery for a total replacement, I was anxious about returning (my husband had recently had a stroke and is limited in his movement). The initial assessment was very thorough. I appreciated the confidence that the carers gave me. It was very helpful that I could choose the times convenient to me. It was good that new carers were always introduced carefully. They always arrived as planned. The mixture of personal care and house care was helpful. They were very personable and helped to increase my mobility and confidence. I am very happy to commend Right at Home for someone in similar circumstances.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback, it is very much appreciated. We were very happy to play a part in your recovery and so pleased you did so quickly, although we will miss you.
Absolutely fantastic service provided. From first contact, everyone I spoke to or emailed was polite professional and empathetic. Everything was handled in a timely manner, with no long waits and assessment booked at a convenient time. The care plan written for my gran was professionally done with so much detail I was pleasantly surprised. My gran loves her carer. I have spoken to her about it as I don't live with her and she's really happy with the care she receives as is my mum. Would highly recommend this company. All policies and instructions between the carer, client and other family members are on point. They allowed me to be involved in the process at my parent's request and copied me into all correspondence. As long as my gran and my mum are happy I'm happy. Thank you to the team at Right at Home.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it is very much appreciated. I am so pleased that you are happy with the support we are providing, and I know, having spoken with your gran's CareGiver regularly for updates, that she has taken great interest and pride in helping with her improvement and thoroughly enjoys supporting her.
Dealing with Right at Home has been an absolute joy since the very first phone call. From setting up the care package right through to its delivery. They have paid such attention to detail and demonstrated such care and understanding, far surpassing anything that I could have hoped for. Not only do they have a highly skilled and professional team of carers, but they also go the extra mile to make sure the service offered is a connected-up logical set of services that meets my mum's needs. As an organisation, they communicate effectively and constantly review the care package to fine-tune it. They were brought in in the first instance because my mum had to spend several weeks in hospital and a care package was put in place In order that she could return home. Although they have been working with my mum now for something just over a month the improvement in my mum's physical and mental well-being is plain for all to see. I really can't commend the service highly enough!
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is an absolute pleasure to care for your mum and a privilege to play a small part in keeping her happy and well at home.

Meet the Team (5)
Before becoming a Right at Home franchise owner Anne worked as a Housing Aid Solicitor for over 20 years. During this time, Anne came to understand the importance of remaining independent in her home and providing support for those who need it. This perfectly aligned with the values promoted here at Right at Home.
Why did you start a business in Home care and support?
"I started my own branch of Right at Home as a direct result of the wonderful care provided to my own mother by her local Right at Home CareGivers. I was so impressed by their commitment to the highest quality care that I enquired about becoming part of the team to provide the same person-centred support to people in my own community in Nottingham."
"Our main purpose is always to improve the quality of life for our Clients and their families. Whether that’s assistance with a weekly shopping trip, daily meal preparation or support with special conditions that require additional expertise or equipment, we are here to help."
"Our professional team of CareGivers are carefully selected and trained to the very highest standard. We would never send someone to your home that we would not want to look after a member of our own family."
