Home care has had many negative headlines recently and so the thought of getting help for my elderly Mum was daunting. Thankfully, Ashbee Homecare was recommended to me and I am so grateful. The carers have all been outstanding providing professional care above and beyond. I would not hesitate to recommend management and their wonderful team.

Ashbee have proved to be excellent in the care they are giving our mother in Weymouth. The team caring for our mother have really got to know her and are able to help her in a very practical, engaging and cheerful way. They focus on achieving the outcomes agreed upon, with encouragement when needed, rather than just recording 'client declined' which we have seen elsewhere. As a small and experienced team, there is consistency in who is visiting and the care provided, backed up by clear management and what appears to be a strong set of values. Although it is a small team, all shifts have always been fully covered. We are very pleased to have engaged Ashbee and can thoroughly recommend them.

The Ashbee team have simply been outstanding in their care, compassion, cheerfulness, support and encouragement. They have all been a joy to work. They have taken on board my husband’s complex needs and medical history and worked with him to regain his strength, mobility and confidence. We can’t thank them enough. Worth every single penny.

The team at Ashbee Home Care have literally been life savers for me and my parents. They are so professional, reliable and best of all friendly and supportive. It's so reassuring to have a team with such a wealth of knowledge and previous medical experience, they literally are part of the family now. I love that it's a smaller team as Mum and Dad have bonded so well with them all and love their visits - we wouldn't have been able to deal with the last year if it wasn't for their help and I'm so grateful I found them.

We chose this private care service after considering a number of providers. They stood out because all of their employees had past NHS experience. The initial response from the owners was caring and helpful following which they undertook an initial review in which they highlighted many of the concerns that existed. Since starting they have produced a comprehensive care plan, maintained good records, offer help and support with empathy and provided regular feedback to the whole family. We live over 5 hours away and the positive way they have encouraged recovery has eased our concerns and we can now see positive progress. Nothing seems too much trouble for them, including talking with doctors, district nurses and occupational health. They discussed and agreed to increase hours when needed, with them offering to reduce hours back now that positive progress has been made. No hesitation in recommending to another family member when support with return from hospitalisation was needed.

Ashbee Home Care support my elderly mum to continue to live independently. Ashbee are a small but dedicated team, highly professional, reliable and punctual and who not only provide care for my mum but actually care about her. Mum has mainly had the same carer throughout and this consistency has helped build a bond between the two where there is trust, openness, kindness and often humour. Although there are set things to do and routines to follow there is a good degree of flexibility and adaptability when my mum wants other things done and I know my mum is really grateful for this and communication is the key with Ashbee - whenever there is a potential problem/concern it is nipped in the bud quickly. Mum is listened to and the family are informed so we can all look for and discuss possible solutions and compromises can be agreed which keeps Mum safe, happy and able to continue living independently. We count ourselves very lucky to have found Ashbee Home Care Ltd to care for my mother-in-law. They are professional, caring and consistent in the level of care they provide which ensures that she is able to safely continue to live at home. Their communication is excellent so that the family have developed a great relationship with the team. Consistent carers have ensured that they are able to bring things to our attention that require action, along with suggestions for good solutions. They have gone above and beyond anything we could have expected including calling for an ambulance in an emergency and staying on to see it through. I cannot speak highly enough of Ashbee. They feel like a part of our family, and would highly recommend them.

Can’t speak highly enough of the care given daily to my 88-year-old mother. Their communication with family members is excellent. She is fortunate to see the same two carers daily since her care began last December and we consider ourselves very lucky to have found such a professional, caring company that goes beyond our expectations.

Ashbee Home Care is a service above and beyond everything that we were expecting when we needed care for my husband. They not only looked after him they also made sure I was ok while he was in hospital and at home. The family would recommend them as they have become part of us and we look forward to them coming in. We began using Ashbee when the company we were using were not consistent in their care. The difference in my mother was very obvious from day one. She was a lot happier and looked forward to the visits. She was brighter and it was lovely to hear her laugh again. The team were excellent in communicating any concerns and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a care company to look after a relative or friend.

We were very very pleased with the care which we received. They were helpful, respectful and sensitive to our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. Their daily visit was a highlight of my husband's day - and mine! It was comforting to have an experienced person coming into the house which often gave me the opportunity to have much-needed time out of the house. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They were brilliant!

The care and attention I get from the personnel of Ashbee Home Care is second to none. They willingly help my husband who is partially disabled. Their reliability and patience relaxes me for the day and the evening. We look forward to their visits.

Ashbee Home Care provide domestic care services to my 85-year-old mother and because her mobility has been reduced she finds certain tasks and getting out difficult. I live 100 miles away so having a regular visit provides me with a regular update as to her well-being and is something that I value. Communication with the company is excellent are very accessible through the company communication channels. My mother has a good relationship with her carer and of most importance, she is very satisfied with the service.

I would highly recommend Ashbee Home Care. They came into the hospital to introduce themselves to mum and from there they treated her with kindness and respect. My mum is a very proud lady who can be quite difficult, but the carers she had always managed to get a smile out of her and were caring and patient with her. Nothing is too much trouble for them and not only did they care for mum, but they were also an invaluable support to me at a very difficult time.

Such a wonderful, caring and compassionate provider of care and support, not only for my dad who has vascular dementia, but supporting my mum as well. Overall the service and support provided gives the whole family peace of mind, knowing your loved ones are being so well looked after and enabling them to stay in their home environment which is absolutely vital. Thank you to the manager and two members of staff in particular for the professionalism, care and compassion shown to our family, which gives us confidence they are being extremely well cared for, as we live further away in Plymouth so not easy to be hands-on. Although only providing two hours of care per day for my elderly mother, the service the Care Manager provides is exceptional. She is relentless in her aim to optimise care, both in the time she spends with my mother and also liaising with other care and health services, to ensure that Mum's total care package is as good as practically possible. She leaves no stone unturned in her pursuit of the best possible service for my mother. Feedback is incredibly thorough and thoughtful, she is so caring, it's as if she's one of the family.

So very happy to have found such a compassionate and caring company, nothing is too much trouble. My dad has vascular dementia and the care he receives is 1st class. He really looks forward to his regular home care visits. The manager is very caring and patient and takes the utmost pride in his work, I know if I have any questions I can give them a call. Ashbee Home Care began caring for a close friend of mine, who has no local family to support her. We felt at ease with this company as soon as we met them.
