An efficient service carried out by the young carers. Who are punctual, polite and caring. Duties are carried out swiftly and efficiently.

I am so impressed with north Lanarkshire and Glasgow east home care service. They have been very professional and reliable at every interaction. They send the same people every week ( subject to availability ) to help my dad shower and dress. My dad speaks highly of the two carers. He has become confident and comfortable with the individuals and he says they are very polite and respectful - which is so important. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service, a breath of fresh air in term of what they are prepared to do and always available to respond to any requests. Detailed notes from carers, always willing to actively ask questions should there be any doubts and understand that its a challenge to be the carer and do everything in their power to take the weight off you, cannot recommend them enough.

Had never dealt with a home carer before, but was impressed when dealing with Megan and other staff in person and on the phone. They were all very helpful and informative of what they could provide for my mum in terms of personal care when i took a respite break. The only thing was my mum got a couple of different staff so it would have been nice to keep the same member for the week, although i know this is not always possible in terms of staff rotas etc. In saying that every staff member that came were lovely to my mum and she really enjoyed the little chats after the personal care was received. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending Home Instead as they were great in me feeling confident in having a break and knowing she was in good hands.

This is the 3rd service user I have used. Also, the very best for punctuality and service, they help me as a mother of a service user. Any problems have been solved immediately. I must admit that the following support workers are exceptionally good with my daughter and myself. 4 members of staff in particular. I have no complaints about the others, as they are all very good.

Very positive experience with my mum, and myself able to ask questions on my sister's behalf. Also, information about what activities and participation by sister explained. Very relaxed review with my sister, my mum, and myself encouraged to participate.

Myself and my family have been delighted with the care my Mum has received. All of the caring staff and the office staff have always been kind, helpful and supportive . We have nothing but praise for all of the staff we've dealt with. Their help and support has made such a difference to my Mum's life.

Staff members arrived on time every evening, cooked dinner and kept my mum company for the remainder of the time

I am extremely pleased and happy with the Home Instead service. All of the carers who attend my mother are excellent taking time to talk to my mum and listen to her needs. I especially love the App which allows me to read about how my mum has been each day the carers visit and it is updated in real time. Very happy with the service!

My mum is very determined to not have any visitor that is not family but we managed to get her to agree to try Home Instead for a trial period. Unfortunately, this did not work as my mum will not be convinced of the benefits of the visit

However, this was not the fault of the Home Instead visitor who was very good at making a connection with my mum and getting her engaged during the visits. This is a great credit to the visitor because my mum has very bad short term memory.

This was restbite care with a live-in carer to allow me to have a holiday. Our carer was amazing. Dad loved her and flourished in his own home being waited on hand and foot so this was an amazing experience for us as a family and all I can say is thanks a million and say his normal daytime care team was amazing too.

Once the period of support concluded my dad raved about the carers and he loved the experience, we have now booked additional periods of support in September and October and will continue to use Home Instead to support my dad at home.

My mum receives excellent care twice a week from Home Instead mainly for companionship so that she has someone who can drive her to Hairdresser, Doctor, and Dental appointments and for browsing around the shops etc. The Care Manager visited my mum at home around 6 months ago to get to know her and be able to match her up with a suitable Carer. The lady looks after my mum very well and all the other ladies who cover for her main carer are all very professional and caring too. My mum had a visit yesterday from the Support Co-ordinator who wanted to check that my mum is happy with her care which is very professional and also adds that personal touch. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for friendly, supportive first-class care. Thank you to everyone involved with my mum's care.

Home Instead provided care for my mum in her own home for almost 18 months. My mum suffered from mixed dementia and it was really important that the carers got to know my mum and my mum got to know and recognise them. Continuity of carers who were coming to visit her was also key. I live over 400 miles from her, but I had complete peace of mind that she was being well cared for and looked after. Having the information available almost immediately on the app let me see exactly what was going on, how she was feeling, how much my mum was eating and drinking, whether she had gone on an outing with the carers was completely invaluable. There were a few management changes over the 18 months or so, but it had limited impact on the care that my mum was receiving. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care.

My mum and stepdad both received care at home from ‘Home Instead’ for a few months between 2022 - 2023. The service they received was fantastic and allowed them to continue living at home whilst providing peace of mind for myself and my family. The carers were friendly, supportive and kind. Communication with, and support from the care manager, was also first-class. Home Instead went above and beyond and was extremely professional at all times. They took time to get to know both my mum and stepdad and took a genuine interest in them as individuals as well as their care needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this service.
