Their Care Professionals support older people so that they are able to stay in their own homes and live independently for longer - in a happy, safe and secure manner.
Why is Home Instead unique?
- Minimum of a one hour visits to 24/7 care. They do not believe proper care can be provided with '15 minute calls'.
- The service matches the client with the Care Professionals so that wherever possible the same Care Professional sees the same client at the same time each day.
- All Care Professionals are employed and partake in a recruitment assessment process. They ask for up to six references plus enhanced PVG checks.
- Care Professionals are trained in Dementia Care, Moving and Assisting, Parkinson's and Medication.
Services include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, transportation and specialist dementia support.
Staff at Home Instead regard it as a special privilege to look after people with varying needs and conditions, with compassion and empathy.
They provide the full range of homecare services and clients range from those receiving two hours of housekeeping help a week to those who receive 24-hour specialist dementia support. Others may only require help during a family break, respite period or during a palliative period.
The services are completely adaptable and variable to suit every client and family requirements.

Home Instead started in my Dad's home in December 2022. I live abroad so needed people I could trust and rely on to look after Dad as he is my priority and I am unable to be there as much as I would like. The staff, the care and the professionalism are much higher than I anticipated. They try to match carers to clients and I have access to their app to see what is done each day to know how my dad is being cared for, brings me great peace of mind.
I feel so very lucky to have found such a caring provider who offers a very personal touch rarely found in this sector. I would recommend Home Instead to friends and family without hesitation.

I contacted Home Instead looking for short-notice assistance and a staff member came out to visit my mother and I, the following day and within four days, care support was in place.

I contacted Home Instead looking for short-notice assistance and a staff member came out to visit my mother and I, the following day and within four days, care support was in place. The carers have been fantastic with my mother and with their support, care and companionship. Her quality of life has improved and her ability to continue to live in her lifetime home is protected.
I would highly recommend Home Instead.

My family are delighted with the excellent care and companionship provided by Home Instead. As a small family, we really appreciate the peace of mind given by the care provided. Communication is frequent, and flexibility is much appreciated. The genuine care and thoughtfulness are very comforting. My dad's care is the priority, and he enjoys the company and outings with his friendly, kind carer. We are so delighted to have found Home Instead. The care manager went out of her way to find someone that would suit Dad and his interests.

Mum and I are extremely grateful for the support provided while I was on holiday (August and November). A friend also recommended the service to us. Staff are lovely and reliable. Social services are finally providing carers morning and night to ensure Mum is taking her meds and just to check on...
Mum and I are extremely grateful for the support provided while I was on holiday (August and November). A friend also recommended the service to us. Staff are lovely and reliable. Social services are finally providing carers morning and night to ensure Mum is taking her meds and just to check on her but we will still be using Home Instead in the future for practical help when I am not available. This means I also have peace of mind knowing she is being assisted with her hair appointments/meals/visits.
