As a carer for my husband, I have found it difficult to manage him alone, since I've had help from Radfield care I have found their kindness and professionalism in dealing with him impossible to do without now that he can be difficult. The girls are never late, unless there is a traffic problem, and
then they always inform me, which I appreciate as my husband can be impatient.

My Mother needs to go to hospital every Monday morning for a blood test ..normally my sister does this (coming out of work to do so ) this week she was unable to do this , I rang Radfields late Friday afternoon and asked if they could help us , it was no problem at all ,the lady on phone looked at Rotas
and adjusted them right away .i then followed it up with an Email to confirm this . I had a replay almost straightaway . The ladies I speak to are always so helpful and will go out of their way to help if they can .they are so good at helping us takes a lot of worry from us .

The Radfield team were a massive help to Mum & Dad from the time we met in hospital to arrange the care and onwards until Dad's passing. All your team were brilliant and the support and care you gave made a very difficult time for our family much easier to cope with. They were always on time and you
accommodated immediately regarding overnight care which was essential in Dad's last few days. Dad was very fond of them all and was treated with not only care but genuine friendship and making him as comfortable as possible.

Radfield have been caring for my Dad for the last few years. They have been so supportive and helpful and have a wonderful relationship with my Dad, knowing him very well and always being respectful and accommodating of his wishes and what is important to him. They have removed a huge amount of stress
for me which has been so helpful. Dad has stable ongoing care that is able to adapt with his declining health. All the carers are so friendly and kind, nothing is ever too much. The communication is brilliant from the office staff and carers alike. They are very responsive and have always gone above and beyond to accommodate different requests. I'm so grateful to have them caring for Dad and know he is in great hands on a daily basis.

Radfield Homecare are providing an outstanding continuing service for my Dad. All the staff who visit are professional, kind and caring and seem to know exactly what needs doing. Their carer in particular is amazing. Her care, efficiency and ability to respond very quickly in some difficult situations
are just outstanding, as are her communication skills in keeping our Family informed. My Dad and his partner were not keen to have a care agency, and after 6 months with Radfield, they look forward to their visits and seeing their carer, particularly on the day that she takes them out each week. Thank you so much to Radfield and their care for offering such an outstanding service. I would highly recommend.

Radfield's Guildford team assisted me with washing, food prep and general household tasks after breaking my leg. They have been nothing short of wonderful. Right after my in home assessment they arranged a care plan tailored to my needs on very short notice. Radfield's team of carers are amazing
- warm, friendly, efficient, and willing to help with anything and everything. They've made navigating a difficult time so much easier. With so many seemingly similar choices for in-home care, I feel lucky to have found Radfield.

Radfield Home Care was able to put in place assistance for my parents at relatively short notice and have been able to adjust the original plan to suit their needs. The carers are very professional and amenable. Basic care is undertaken alongside other cleaning, tidying, and chatting as time allows.

From my first enquiry, through to my dad's care package being put in place, two members of staff in particular have consistently been caring and prompt in responding to any concerns.
I was impressed with how quickly they were able to provide care, where other agencies weren’t able to help.
I live
overseas, so the live Radfield app that I am able to log into, showing who has been to see my dad and what care he receives has been more than helpful.

Excellent care and communication with the staff. They have a very good understanding of my aunt, which is very important to me. Always easy to talk to the staff if there is a change of plan. I have total peace of mind knowing that my aunt is having continued support and help if she needs it.

Radfield Care has been great in establishing care at home for my frail father. They have been professional in setting up the service and flexible and compassionate when he was admitted to the hospital, rearranging rotas to support his discharge from the hospital.

My husband came home from the hospital in November 2023 and Radfield Home Care has been providing care 3 times a day for him, we had a few minor problems to start with but these were quickly sorted out and since then everything has run smoothly the carers are kind and are respectful when attending to
his needs. I feel confident with all the carers that Radfield have sent to us and I’m pleased that I chose them to look after him.

Choosing reliable carers to come into your home and care for a loved one is a daunting challenge, often at a time of severe stress and worry. No such problems with Radfield. They were truly exceptional in caring for my 82-year-old deaf father with advanced Alzheimer's Disease, who was entirely bedbound
when he came home to us following a short stay in hospital. Their team of carers is small enough to ensure continuity of care, but large enough to cope with urgent requests. Hands-on management, led by the owner/director who always replied to my messages whatever the time of day. Regular professional personal carers, who took an interest in my father and showed him much empathy, which was lovely to see even when his condition unexpectedly deteriorated to end of life. Special thanks to one carer in particular, who was simply amazing from making my father giggle like an old friend to easing his pain with massage. Radfield are worth every penny and highly recommended.

Our carer always arrives on time and has a smile. We had a few days' break away and I struggled a bit with showering my husband so emailed for help on our return which was not a normal day for us. This was accommodated.

My carer is a very pleasant person to have around; they are energetic, helpful, use initiative, tackle tasks without being asked, and can converse intelligently on (so far!) any topic I broach. They are adaptable and flexible. I could not ask for better support during my (hopefully limited) time of
need. The care plan, drawn up together with my carer’s supervisor, is appropriate and sensible. The plan has been tweaked during the past week and seems set to deliver what I need, when I need it. My very supportive family is also happy with the outcome.

At Radfield Home Care Guildford & Woking, we believe in delivering top-tier service standards led by experts who embody our core values. Leading our team is Richard, a veteran care manager with a wealth of experience and qualifications in health and social care management and leadership.


Richard’s career path is a testament to his passion for improving lives. He spent a decade managing businesses in the recruitment industry, gaining invaluable commerce and people skills. Yet, he always felt a call towards a more service-driven sector to create direct positive impacts. He said:


“I always knew that I wanted to move into a more service-driven sector and role, where my input would have a positive impact directly on people’s lives.”


Having tasted the reward of direct caring, Richard developed a desire to shape home care services. His vision led him to establish a Radfield Home Care in his local community in Camberley. After successfully establishing and growing his local service, he branched out with an office providing for the Guildford & Woking area. He said:


“As a registered care manager, I developed a true passion to want to open my own home care business in my local community – providing high-quality person-centred care and support services and offering exceptional employment and career opportunities.”

Mike is the community engagement manager for Radfield Home Care Guildford & Woking, who maintains Radfield’s key relationships in the community.


Having joined Radfield in December 2023 as a care professional following a long career in dentistry, Mike is a dedicated member of the health care sector. In his own words, Mike describes his 20 years of fantastic experience:


“I was a clinical dentist from 1994 to 2011, graduating from the University of Colorado and the University of Michigan. I had my own practice from 1995 to 2004 in Colorado, USA. I have owned 3 businesses and marketed with brand awareness; Boniface Orthodontic Laboratory, The peak centre for advanced dental care and The fresh breath centre of Colorado. I moved into domiciliary care in Fleet, Hampshire between 2014 – 2016 and was the senior carer at The Meath Epilepsy Trust, Godalming 2020 – 2023. Working on a unit of 11 residents with multiple physical disabilities and neurodiverse conditions, all of which had epilepsy.


My background has been diverse and this in itself leads to an adaptability to new ventures and a changing landscape. I have already marketed, networked and branded in the dental sector. I have always been in a caring job from dentistry through being in the funeral and grief arena to the care sector itself. My natural ability is to care and to be with people creating bonds and relationships so a community engagement role is a perfect match for my personality.


As I have aged and gotten older I want to give back and do something that is meaningful and has purpose. What better job is there than to be involved in a company whose mission is to provide superlative private care to the elderly? My experience is in care, compassion and empathy. My values are honesty, being authentic and generous. These coupled together provides me a framework to network and brand with confidence and belief that I can help grow our territory and provide an outstanding service to existing and new clients. My qualifications include Doctor of Dental Surgery, Level 2 in elderly care, Level 2 in Dementia and an adult Care Certificate.”
