They have listened to what we need from them and how we want things done.
Having people in your home is never easy, but Right at Home have provided pleasant, professional staff who respect our home and provide a fantastic level of care.
I would not have an issue with recommending them to anyone who needs a high level of care.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. The whole family have been a delight to work with, and we look forward to working with you all for many years to come.
Right at Home is an excellent care provider. It is strange to speak in a professional sense because the care that is provided is so personal. My Mum regards her carer highly and she has become a true friend.
All the professional boxes are fully ticked, but it takes something a little special to develop such a personal bond. It takes compassion and a willingness to connect and the carer has this in abundance. Despite being co-owner, she still takes time to personally look after my mum and she has said that she would not ask anybody to do something she would not do herself. This shouts 'high standards' out loud.
There is no question that my Mum is happy. The carer has provided both the company and practicality that was needed for a person in their mid-nineties. This service has changed my mum's life so much for the better, it would be great to know that a recommendation might change a few more.
This is also an opportunity to put my thanks on record. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your exceptionally kind words. Your mother is very dear to me and she's been an absolute delight to care for.
We have worked hard to get where we are, making sure that we have excellent carers to keep lovely people like your mother, safe and cared for in their own homes, is what we are all about. Long, may we continue to care for her.
They take the meaning of care literally and go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble.
My father can be challenging at times and their can do attitude has helped to build a great relationship.
It gives us complete peace of mind knowing they are going in every day to look after Dad.
I would highly recommend them as a care company.
God willing, we very much look forward to working with you all for many years to come.
Finding this service has been a blessing for our family and my father. They go the extra mile to care. Caring is a vital aspect of the service but they are also very organised, full of initiative and reliable.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and for putting your trust in us. We work hard to ensure that we focus on meeting all of your father's needs; it's great to hear that we have made a difference not only to him but to the family as a whole.
A chance sighting of a magazine ad proved to be a winner for us! A meeting and action plan was quickly agreed. This can be reviewed if required. The carer has proved to be a professional, dedicated addition to my 95-year-old mum's care. She is friendly, reliable and approachable and helps out with meal preparation, showering needs and light household duties. She has quickly become an important part of my mum's weekly routine and provided valuable companionship. She has also shown to be adaptable if we have needed to alter the timing of her visits. We would highly recommend this carer and thank her for her kind relationship to my mum.
Thank you for your very kind and generous review, Steven. Your mother and the whole family have been a delight to work with, we will always try and adapt ourselves around a family's needs wherever possible.
The service is a welcome support for my mother-in-law since my husband died. I cannot do everything for her and the support of the carers is extremely helpful in maintaining Mam's independence in her own home. That said, I think it is important that we don't impose our own ideas and ways of working on her.
Many thanks for your kind words and for allowing us the privilege of supporting your mother-in-law. She is an absolute delight to care for. Right at Home always encourages client independence.
First and foremost, building a rapport with my mother is paramount, knowing how challenging Mum can be, a good relationship has been developed. Respect and maintaining my mum's dignity are being met. Also, understanding my mum's culture and beliefs are also respected. There is a great deal of encouragement introduced when challenges arise and this diffuses the anxiety my mum sometimes feels. Bravo!
Thank you for your wonderful review, we are so glad that you are having such a great experience with us. We pride ourselves on having fantastic careGivers, so your feedback is hugely appreciated!
Care includes showering, general tidying, preparing meds and timing visits to fit with daily life. We are contacted if situations arise that we need to deal with. Light housework, letter posting, throwing away excess papers etc, help the home remain clean and tidy. We cannot recommend this service highly enough as my relative feels safe and well looked after.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and recommendation. Your mother-in-law is a delight to care for.

Introducing Tahira – Our Compassionate Leader of Right at Home - Leeds East
Tahira is an extraordinary individual who has embarked on a unique journey that led her to become an integral part of Right at Home - Leeds East. With her experience and unwavering dedication to both her local community and the field of Health and Social Care, she is truly an exceptional leader.
Tahira qualified solicitor as a solicitor in 2005. She specialised in Family Law dealing with matters such as safeguarding children providing support for those affected by domestic violence and navigating the complexities of divorce and division of matrimonial assets.
From 2007 to 2020 Tahira wholeheartedly dedicated herself to various Leeds-based charities serving as a co-chair of a leading women’s charity and as a Trustee of others. Her active participation in sub-committees exemplified her commitment to making an impact within her local community. Inspired by the difference she could make through involvement; Tahira made the bold decision to transition from law into establishing a care business.
Recognising that providing excellent care and truly transforming clients' lives would require great CareGivers, Tahira decided that she wanted to be able to walk in their shoes and experience the front lines of homecare services, so Tahira took it upon herself to immerse herself in a CareGiver role.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Tahira managed her role as a solicitor during the day, frequently having calls with clients and Zoom calls with Judges, and then in the evenings and weekends, she would don PPE and dedicate herself to providing essential care to those in need. This unique perspective proved invaluable as she embarked on establishing Right at Home - Leeds East.
Tahira's experiences have enabled her to empathise with and understand the needs of both CareGivers and Clients forming the bedrock of her approach to ensuring an experience for everyone involved in her team and clients receiving care.
Tahira's journey in the field of health and social care exemplifies her unwavering dedication to making a positive impact within her community. As a leader at Right at Home - Leeds East, she is devoted to delivering top-notch care and fostering a supportive environment for both CareGivers and clients. Her distinct perspective and compassionate nature make her an invaluable asset to our team.
