Overall Experience

Harrington Homecare was recommended by a good friend of mine who has used them for her elderly parents. From the moment of first contact when we met the lovely team leader at the company, we have found them to be very professional, experienced and most importantly, extremely caring in my mother’s care. My mum has mild dementia and I like that there are just 2 main carers who are wonderful, and whom my mum remembers and enjoys seeing each day.

After more than twenty years working across the Third Sector and Social Care in a variety of roles, founding Harrington Homecare and growing it successfully over the past three years has been a proud and significant achievement for our dedicated team and me. Having worked first-hand as a carer, I understand both the rewards and the challenges within the sector, which inspired me to create a service that does things differently.

Harrington Homecare was established with a vision to transform the way care is delivered, placing genuine emphasis on personalised support tailored to each individual. Quality, dignity and efficiency remain at the heart of everything we do, with the belief that every person deserves compassionate, respectful and person-centred care.

Over the past three years, we have built a team carefully chosen for their compassion, professionalism and shared commitment to this vision. Together, we have created an approach where care is not simply a service, but a partnership — built on trust, understanding and meaningful relationships with the people we support. By taking time to understand each client’s unique needs, preferences and life story, we empower individuals to play an active role in their care journey.

Through innovative practices and effective use of technology, we have continued to improve efficiency, allowing our care professionals to focus more of their time on what matters most — delivering exceptional care.
